Updated FAQ Thread
There is already a thread like this, but it is getting ready to be four years old. Because of this, I decided that it was time to post a new and more updated Frequently Asked Questions thread. This thread answers common questions that are asked here around the forum. Some questions may relate more to the game itself. Questions will be in bold and blue.
Game Related Questions:
1) Where can I download WC:UT?
-Click HERE to download the game.
2) Does Falconstar plan to update it?
-Not currently. Version 15 has been the newest update since August 2012.
3) Is there a multiplayer?
-There used to be, but Falcon can’t host the server anymore.
4) How do I play the game from a MAC computer?
-Please see this thread
5) How do I save?
-If you are in a clan, you must talk to the clan leader and hit the space bar.
-As a rogue/loner, you need to walk to your den and click the ‘save’ button in the upper right hand corner.
-If you are a kittypet, then you have to talk to George and press space.
6) How do I take a screenshot of the game?
-Press the Print Scr (or Prtsc) button on your keyboard and paste it into an editing software like Paint for cropping and saving to your computer.
-Or, if you have this program, use Snipping Tool.
-If you want to know how to upload it on this forum, see the next section of this thread.
Forum Related Questions
1) Can I still post if I am not at least 13 years of age?
-Yes. Guests are welcome to post here.
2) Can I post on the shoutbox without an account?
-Not currently. Guest shouts were allowed at one time, until we started having a number of issues involving impersonations and other related problems.
3) When is a thread considered ‘old’?
-A thread is considered old when it has not been posted on in three or more months. After this time frame, you will see a message at the top that warns you about bumping. Usually after this time frame, it is better to go ahead and make a new thread about the topic.
4) What is reputation, and how does it work?
-The reputation system is a way for people to show their appreciation, or lack of appreciation, towards you. If you are helpful or kind to someone, then that person may exalt you as a way of saying “Thank you.” When they exalt you, your reputation increases by one point. However, if you are rude or disrespectful to another member here, then you might get smited. When you smite someone, you take a point away from them, which decreases their reputation by one. Reputation should always be earned.
