Long after Firestar's time comes another prophecy. None of the cats we know, love, (or hate), or cherish are around. They are spoken of in legends, myths, nothing more. Now comes a new prophecy. The second prophecy leading to this big finale. (I posted the first earlier. If you want to find it, it is called Rise of Ravenclan)
Prologue:
A dark shape slinked through a shadowy forest. The cat moved quickly, but silently. As she turned the corner, a figure pounced on her. "What are you doing here Darkspirit?" The she-cat screeched in fright. "You scared me! And I think I am allowed to roam the forest freely!" The other cat sneered. "Well, I hope you don't get too cocky. After all, you know what would happen." Darkspirit shuddered. The other cat swiped at her cheek, and when his paw pulled away, there was a splotch of white on her cheek. He tsked. "Mud?" Darkspirit muttered something under her breath. He purred in amusement. "We both know you don't belong here. You have too pure a heart. Run back to your precious angel cats! Oh wait, that's right. They don't accept murderers. All your friends are there without you! We need this anger at being left out for our plans. You will be useful, Darkspirit." With that, he turned and stalked away. Darkspirit sighed, and padded over to a pool of dirty water. She looked at it, remembering her life and the angel cats. Idiots! She began slowly licking off the mud, until her white fur was bright and clean. She hissed angrily.
Chapter 1:
Sorrelkit bounced around the nursery. She was going to become an apprentice! "Calm down!" Her mother, Creampelt purred. "The ceremony isn't for another few days. Lupinestar needs to decide your mentor. And besides, you aren't six moons until tomorrow!" Sorrelkit pouted. "But I want to be an apprentice now!" She mewed. Creampelt licked the top of her head. "A good warrior needs to be patient, Sorrelkit. You will be a great one someday." Sorrelkit huffed in annoyance. "But I want to be one now!" Then she scampered off.

"Come in Sorrelkit!" Creampelt called from the nursery. Sorrelkit sighed, but went over, since she was somewhat tired. Creampelt purred. Sorrelkit settled down, and fell fast asleep.

She blinked open her eyes to see a starry forest, and a silvery tabby sitting beside her. Sorrelkit yelped, and the tabby gasped. "Wha-" She was cut off, when suddenly more cats appeared. There was a ginger she-cat who looked about the age of an apprentice, a black tom, who also appeared to be an apprentice, a brown she-cat, a pale gray tom, and a gray tom. They all looked surprised to be there. The pale gray tom, obviously an elder, looked at everyone. "Willowdapple? What are you doing here?" He asked the brown she-cat. She looked at him curiously. "I could ask the same of you Littlefoot," she meowed calmly. "Well, I just went to sleep." The gray tom meowed cheerfully, "Well then, it appears this is a dream. Maybe we should all introduce ourselves." A pure white she-cat came out of the ferns. "Yes, let's." The tabby snarled at her. "What are you doing out of the Dark Forest?" The white cat flicked her tail in annoyance. "I felt a pull to come here." Sorrelkit and the ginger she-cat shrieked, and jumped away from the white cat. The black tom looked at them strangely. Sorrelkit gaped at him. "Why aren't you scared?" She asked fearfully. He snorted. "Scared of what?" The ginger apprentice shivered. "The Dark Forest is where evil cats go!" She told him. He shrugged. "Never heard of it!" The elder looked at him curiously. "Are you from the Tribe of Rushing Water?" The black tom nodded. "My name is Jay That Nests in Pine. Who are you?" The elder dipped his head respectfully. "My name is Littlefoot." The white cat just stared around at everyone in dismay. "I thought I would be among my friends, not a bunch of living cats, and a StarClan 'warrior!'" She spat the last two words scornfully. The tabby hissed at her. Then she turned to the others. "My name is Stormcloud. I am a StarClan cat formerly from ThunderClan." She gazed at the Dark Forest warrior distrustfully and Sorrelkit shivered beside the brown warrior, whom she had hidden behind. The white cat spoke quietly. "My name is Cl-Darkspirit. I came from SkyClan." Jay That Nests in Pine looked at her. "Why are you in the Dark Forest?" He asked curiously. The apprentice gaped at him in horror. Darkspirit snarled and muttered something that sounded suspiciously like "Lightning strike." Jay That Nests in Pine shrugged, and said, "My name is Jay That Nests in Pine, but you can call me Jay. I come from the Tribe of Rushing Water. I don't really know why I am meeting Starclan cats instead of Tribe of Endless Hunting cats." The brown she-cat stepped forwards. Sorrelkit shivered again. "Hello Jay. I don't really know the answer to that question, but there must be a reason. In the meantime, my name is Willowdapple, and I come from RiverClan." Littlefoot introduced himself, revealing that he was from ShadowClan. The other gray tom introduced himself as Ashtail, from SkyClan. Darkspirit's eyes gleamed, but he hissed at her, making her shrink back. The ginger apprentice shyly told them she was named Daisypaw, and was from ThunderClan. Stormcloud's eyes filled with happiness and Darkspirit heaved a sigh. Suddenly Sorrelkit realized everyone was looking at her. And she was the only one who hadn't introduced herself. She started to speak, her voice quiet. "My name is Sorrelkit. I'm from WindClan." Darkspirit thought for a second. "Hmm," she thought aloud. "One cat from each clan." In her eyes there was a glimmer of sadness. A bright orange cat came through the trees, followed by a gray she-cat. Daisypaw leapt to her paws. "Who are you?" She demanded. He flicked his tail. "I am Firestar. But there is a more pressing matter. There is a prophecy! You must know it before you wake. Eight cats with the power to defeat the far-sighted ones. But they must beware the betrayal of one all trust." The cats summoned looked from each other, all but Jay pointedly ignoring Darkspirit, back to the ginger cat. Darkspirit coughed. "Uh, that didn't rhyme. Don't prophecies usually rhyme?" The she-cat choked in amusement. Firestar purred. "I suppose not. And you, Dark Warrior, beware the lightning that roams the stars. It is unrightfully there, but cannot be removed." Darkspirit was still hissing at him as he walked away. Littlefoot meowed in awe. "That was an old leader of ThunderClan and one of the medicine cats of his time. Firestar and Yellowfang are their names. Before Yellowfang was the medicine cat of ThunderClan, she was from ShadowClan." Sorrelkit looked after Firestar and Yellowfang curiously. "How did they die?" Jay asked the elder. Littlefoot thought for a moment. "I believe that Yellowfang died in a fire. Firestar, I believe, was crushed by a fallen tree. Or struck by lightning. I can't remember. But they are from long before my time." Sorrelkit was amazed to learn this. "Wow," she mewed softly. "A StarClan warrior came to us." Stormcloud looked annoyed. "I'm a StarClan warrior!" She meowed indignantly. Darkspirit purred, amused. "Yes, and a wonderful one too, little kit." Stormcloud snarled, and leapt at Darkspirit. Sorrelkit stared wide eyed. Darkspirit hissed and dodged the attack. "You have no idea why I am in the forest. And you are a kit compared to me." The other she-cat hissed back. "You are evil and deserve your place. I don't want to know why you are there! Killed some ThunderClan cat I suppose." The dark forest warrior looked hurt. "You know, ThunderClan cats aren't always the good ones!" Stormcloud glared. "Name three ThunderClan warriors in there with you." She stalked away. "Mapleshade! Thistleclaw! Darkstripe!" Darkspirit shrieked after the she-cat. "And more! How about the ones barely saved, Hm? Ivypool! Blossomfall! And yet more! They almost destroyed the clans!" The white she-cat slid to the ground. Jay walked over. Ashtail and Littlefoot leapt up. "N- it's too late," the latter tried to call. Darkspirit just turned away. Sorrelkit's vision turned blurry. She cried out. Willowdapple gasped, and started walking towards her, but it looked as if she were swimming. Suddenly Sorrelkit's vision went black.
