Disclaimer: I have never done a Pokemon Nuzlocke Challenge before, I have only seen videos on Youtube, however, I can easily explain that by saying the only Pokemon game I have played yet was Pokemon GO. So, sorry if that effects how I create this challenge or something like that. Constructive criticism is very helpful!
I was watching some Pokemon Nuzlocke Challenge Let's-Play style videos recently, and I thought: "Since my Pokemon game isn't here yet, how can I make WC:UT more challenging, more interesting?" I had wanted to make up a challenge for myself for a while, but unfortunately, I had zero ideas of what to do.and yes I decided to buy a game off Ebay because I don't have a 3DS
Let's see how translating a Pokemon Nuzlocke Challenge into a WC:UT challenge will go...
Don't know what a Nuzlocke Challenge is? There's a good page about it on Bulbapedia here.
The RULES
✺You must name all of your rouges, and give them personalities.
✺You cannot have more than 6 rogues.
✺You have to take the first rogue that appears in the nest.
✺Apprentices and kits are allowed, though they are discouraged.
✺You can have a mate, however, they must be a rogue, not a mate (as in using a shiny thing instead of prey to lure a mate you can give gifts to and have kits with), so that they can battle and hunt alongside you.
✺Keep track of how long you survive without you or all of your rogues dying, because that is how you determine your score, or at least how well you did.
✺You can only heal outside of battle (intimidating glare does not count as a healing move in this case, since it is basically wired to be used in battle). The following skills are not allowed: Killing Bite, Charge.
✺You cannot flee a battle if you come across one intentionally or unintentionally.
✺Challenge mode can be used, but it will most likely be very difficult.
✺You can only lure 2 cats at a time after you get enough to start the challenge.
What you need to do (in order for the challenge to function properly, may contain minor rules as well):
✻You must fight at least 1 battle every day in-game.
✻You must hunt for prey to keep yourself and your cats alive. If a cat goes without food for 2 days, they have starved.*
✻Patrols of clan cats (the cats that randomly spawn on tiles to attack you) do count as battles.
✻If a rogue is hit by a car, they are dead.*
✻You must have at least one water source in your camp at all times.
*indicates an optional rule
Items
❥You can revive yourself using comfrey. Each comfrey can only be used once.
❥Feverfew gives you a 1 day grace period, where you can flee from battles and don't have to fight any, but it only works if you have less than 4 rogues.
❥Horsetail allows you to skip hunting (if you have the hunting rule) for a day.
❥Goldenrod lets you flee patrols for one day.
Feel free to share your experiences, opinions, thoughts, and some advice on how to improve this challenge, or just plain old tips below!
(Currently, I will personally be doing this with all rules in it, even the optional ones [except for the hunting rule] to test it out!)
