The other day, I received a YouTube comment on one of my WC:UT tutorial videos. The comment said that I should upload a series of gameplay. I am considering it, but I need some ideas of how I should go about it. I thought about using my voice, but my microphone can be iffy sometimes. Also, I am not sure if I should do what I would want to do in the game, or if I should take suggestions. Do any of you have thoughts or suggestions? Falcon Development, Wolf, Lily~Myth, ✻Dawnleaf✻

If it's WC:UT that you're gonna play, I would say be a rogue. It can get really boring watching someone just hunt and fight and gather stuff to earn reputation to not get kicked out of the Clan. Plus as a Clancat you'll pretty much try to earn reputation all the time, for Med cat assistant, waiting for a mate, etc.. Maybe a challenge to keep things interesting? I like the StarClan's Mercy one, but there's a lot more out there and if you finish one you can start another? Taking suggestions is also a good idea. I don't know how good your microphone is and if you can get a better one or not, but you'll probably get more views if you do use your voice.

The only microphone I have is built into my computer. The main problem is background noise that it'll pick up.

You know how youtubers have these things on the wall to stop echo or something..? Try that maybe if you can? And tell everyone you're recording and don't want to be bothered cause from my experience they'll just walk into your room lol.
Test out the mic in your laptop and see if it's good quality??

I'm only loud when I'm hyper so I know the struggle. Just try to speak louder. The video doesn't have to be too long anyway, because people will lose interest then eventually. Maybe start with a ten minute video??

That's a good idea! Try using an editing software to cut out background noise, and if a part gets boring, maybe consider cutting a bit of the video out. I do Youtube regularly, and I have noticed that to make good videos, you should have a crazy event happen near the end (about 70% way through) and then name it after that event, so they will watch until the event, even if the content is pretty boring. Also, if you do a voice over and pretend you are playing the game, it might make it easier to speak and talk, but it is harder to make it sound real.

I read that MatPat from Game Theory recorded his earlier videos in the closet to minimize echoing, in case you can't get a super expensive top-quality microphone or anything. I can't imagine that's terribly comfortable, though, haha.
