Lucius was honestly surprised that they hadn't been found yet by any knights or other people looking for easy money. Their faces had been put up on wanted posters, and it honestly made him feel like he was in some kind of bad movie. "So, I think we should leave this city as soon as possible," he told Rose and Oscar, shaking his head a bit. It was only a matter of time until somebody found them. He really didn't want to deal with the king and the rest of his castle again.
Now that he had somehow discovered that he could use fire, it was coming easier to him to use that, too. Still, using fire to burn somebody while they were running away really hadn't helped their case, either.
Jay had slept pretty badly, which just added the to bags under his eyes and his messed up hair. He couldn't even remember the dream now that he was awake, but he knew that it had been pretty bad, apparently. Whatever it was, his mind was screaming at him to be careful. "What are we doing today?" he asked Quinn. He didn't really care that Quinn was kind of the leader in their small group. Made decisions easier.
Michaela still couldn't believe that she'd discovered her powers by getting upset when she'd hit her foot against something. It was kind of embarrassing, but she'd almost blinded some people around her suddenly. Soon after, she'd fled the scene. It at least showed that the whole situation wasn't a hoax, though.
"So, we've got some weapons," she told the people with her. "Should we grab some food supplies and then try to find our way out of here?" She sounded pretty optimistic about the whole thing and situation. Some people had apparently been dumb enough to go into the castle and then escape, so they at least knew the faces of some more people that probably had powers, too.

Oscar was sitting on the ground with his head rested on one hand, looking a little defeated. Uh, this was my fault wasn't it? Got a little too confident in myself, got a little... scared? Frightened? There's probably a right word somewhere here. "Yeah, you know a backway out of here or are we just going to bolt for the gates?" He sounded rather given up, though he did felt like there wasn't anything too particular they can do at the moment.
(Ironically he can just shadow his way out of here if he can only just UNLOCK HIS POWERS)
Peridot had always believed that something was out there back home and coming to this strange world it seemed that spirits were all the ‘rage’ quite literally because these people seemed intent on killing them plus their human hosts, her power had surfaced when being cornered into a fight by some guards with surrounding rocks ‘jumping’ out from the ground and clobbering her opponents enough for them to gain a slight concussion or knocked out with her fleeing the seen.
“Perhaps.... it’s just that things are harder now.” She replied with her recalling the news about three people trashing going in then breaking out of the palace, now everyone was on high alert which paranoia filled streets did make it hard to travel. “If we do get supplies first then we’re going to need food that can last- by last I mean.... won’t go bad after awhile like canned goods.”
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”

Quinn didn't look much better off than Jay. But he never slept well even before coming here. No dreams for him, just the inability to stay asleep. At the same time, he was also annoyed he hadn't figured out his power yet, which he found himself trying to use when he couldn't sleep. "Try and find others and get out." Quinn spoke as if that was an easy feat. "Preferably not the idiots who went straight to the castle. Don't want to deal with people like that and end up-" He drew a finger over his throat at that to finish his sentence.
Rose was sitting cross legged as they talked, pouting a bit. She was still hung up on how awfully the talking went. Which she did blame a little bit on the rashness of the boys. Though she wasn't as arrogant to not put blame on herself for bolting off suddenly and worrying them. In that way she was also rash. She was more of just mad that they didn't end up making friends and talking things out. "A strong push to the gates." Rose said affirmatively, "We got through the castle before we were even figuring out our powers. We stand more of a chance now." It hadn't taken Rose long to discover her electricity after their mishap. Of course it had been a little scary of sending out a sudden shock when she got way too worked up from the whole ordeal.

Romi squinted, practically glaring at wanted posters set up on the board. It's obvious those people are from--what Romi calls--the real world, much like Romi. What did they do to be wanted day 2 of being here... no, maybe they had been here longer than he has. Romi took a bite of his apple, which he received from a kindly woman, who gave it to him after he claimed he had lost his memories, and money.
Romi had yet to unlock his power, he just didn't bother trying until he found others like him. Confidently tossing his apple into the air, and catching it stylishly, Romi grinned, and headed out to scout for similarly-fated people.
(I haven't figured out where everyone is, so feel free to bump into Romi!)

Lucius cracked a small smile at Oscar's comment. "I figured we could burn that bridge when we got to it. We did make quite an escape from the castle, too," he replied. He seemed surprised at Rose's words, however. He was surprised to hear that from her of all people. "We can probably try to get out, yeah, especially if we show off our powers. We've got some food, but I'm not sure if that's gonna last long enough." He sounded a little worried about that fact, but he honestly just wasn't sure how much would be enough. There had to be edible stuff outside the walls, too, right?
"Yeah, so we'll grab like canned food, but either we also get a can opener or we grab ones that don't need one," Michaela said with a nod. It didn't sound like the most tasty food around, but she was sure they could manage with it. She wasn't really sure how they'd be getting enough food for their whole group without that much money, though. Playing the scared, intimidated girl act wouldn't work with that one.
Jay's brows furrowed at that and he ran a hand through his hair. "Never thought that I would hear the words 'finding other people' coming out of your mouth," he said quietly, actually sounding amused for once. He moved forward a little to peek out onto the streets. "...easier said than done, though." Jay wasn't a social person at all, the thought of having small talk with somebody was just straight up horrible to him, and he knew he'd shut that conversation down way too quickly. So, really, Quinn would have to do the talking.
His eyes did land on somebody across the street who seemed to be glaring at a wanted poster. Somebody who was angry at the idiots who had managed to get themselves exposed? Jay honestly didn't know as he watched him for a few moments, then turned his gaze back away.
“That’s why I got the dagger, one side has a notch.” Peridot grinned a bit with the knife hidden in her pant’s pocket after all she couldn’t be wielding a weapon in public or she would have get arrested by the guards, “The hard part will be getting the food and having a way to keep the food together.... it’s not like we can leave carrying a bag full of stuff, plus we’d probably have to hit a single store.” She then suggested with everything being on lockdown and robbing a place will raise a lot of suspicion.
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”
"What if we just take multiple bags? Could lessen the weight that way," Michaela suggested, then grinned. "I'm sure we can also steal those at whatever place we visit. ...hopefully, at least." She had no idea how close to normal supermarkets the stuff here would be. So far it seemed like a very weird mix of modern world and older eras. Though, she could already imagine their faces also going up as wanted posters if they messed anything up badly. Showing their powers was a no-go, but she knew that they all still had trouble controlling those. "We should probably head out very soon, in that case, though," she added, looking thoughtful. The sooner it was done, the better.
"yeah I know." That would answer both of jays comments."I'll be doing the talking. I am a great people person after all~" Well Quinn certainly, knew had to read and respond to people well, but he did not actually enjoy the people he talked with. And that had been made pretty clear to Jay by this point. He would talk circles around whoever's he needed.
“Sounds like a plan... yeah we better get the stuff and go.” Peridot said after listening to Michaela with her agreeing to the sort-of-a-ppan out of the city and she smiled a bit. “Should one if get bags and the other food or just get the food together?” People were more suspicious now epsiecally with the three fugitives who broke out of the palace that was impressive yet it did make things harder now.
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”

((haha one month revive-)) Oscar wasn't too particular liking to show off whatever'power' he has, he would much prefer if things were back to normal. "Well, we can worry about food later once we're outside." Citrineנιηχχє∂
