Kaliah put both of her hands in front of mouth to keep from giggling to the queen’s reaction upon hearing the two nobles’ names which she wasn’t sure if they really were here as they hadn’t gotten a heads up about their arrival, she looked back over to the Queen who had stood up from the table in some annoyance, What do those noblemen want from the Queen? Could they be....what is the word... suits? Suits for the lady? she thought to herself with the maid looking towards the door. “I wonder what they are here for... Elaine are they friends of yours?”
“Not exactly, but no need to worry about them.” Elaine said with a smile however a flick of annoyance was seen in her eyes, “You both May have the entire day off- I know everything this day is a lot to take in.” She added as she didn’t want them to worry about not doing their daily jobs as they had survived an attack then got a boatload of information that took at least a week to fully process, they didn’t deserve to be burdened by all of this however it was better that they knew sooner rather then later.

(The Angry Unicorn, the Curse itself appears at random... get injured by an affected? Maybe have it, not hurt or anywhere near an affected? Possible.... it’s like a random generator of that helps... so if ya want Oliver to go berserk or be ‘affected’ that’s fine by me)
Ralph escorted her injured friend back to the inn which luckily was close to the entrance of the town so he didn’t have to go far however she hoped it wasn’t busy granted most of the people were either working or outside gossiping about what just had occurred, “Move airside ya yapping birds.” She snapped at some who wanted answers to the attack yet they were more of a hassle- aka not going to help at all and let Oliver bleed to death. Once getting into the tavern was thankfully had few to none patrons in and the innkeeper looking up in shock- nearly dropped the drinking glass he was cleaning out. “Oi, get the healing kit.”
Elaine felt her throat grow slightly dry with her thinking of an answer that would suffice yet none came up, “I am going to tell you both the truth, the full honest truth.” She started to say with her looking briefly from her notes to the two castle staff members who seemed less nervous but she could tell they were still shaken by the event... however they would be even more shaken when they heard what she said. “No plan, not at all..... in the works, tried everything- spells, magic, you name it, nota..... There had been another attack that happened down at the town too.”
(roll a dice >='D I'll have a think about it) Oliver tried not to tread on anyone's toes as he and she get surrounded by customers that want answers. In all honesty he didn't know how to reply himself, he simply stared at her with a slight confusion ridden all over his face. "uuhm..." Thankfully, he was saved by the innkeeper. "Y-yes that would be much more appreciated..." He winces everytime he had to use his front leg, but he tried not to make it a huge deal out of it
The innkeeper handed over a healing kit to the centaur then shooting away anyone who wasn’t a paying customer to give the centaur space to patch up, “If ya need to go into one of the back rooms, ya can.” He motioned to the right where there were some floor-level rooms that were rather large- spacious enough for even a centaur or even taller customers like an ogre which was lucky for this in between town for travelers.
Ralph saw her little boy in the corner of her eye with him sitting by the table they had been sitting at earlier when the centaur had arrived which he still had the cup, now empty of the herbal medicine that once was in there. Good, he took his medicine.... she thought to herself as he even looked somewhat.... healthier more awake then he was before.

( im drinking honey and lemonade too ahahahah im so sick >='D)
The centaur gave a small nod and thanks towards the innkeeper, perhaps getting his own room would be much better than patching himself up in front of others. His eyes landed on the woman that accompanied him back. Noticing that she was heading towards his son he quickly made his way inside, he hoped that the boy wouldn't see the wound but he had a feeling it was too late. Lily~Myth
Randy looked up with a smile on his face as he saw his mother and the doctor enter the tavern which he couldn’t see much from where he was sitting and people crowding around them until he heard his mother barksnap shoo away people who got too close, that sparked his curiosity however he of course scented the air for a strange smell that had accompanied the two back. When Oliver went into one the back rooms the young boy could see a gash across one side of the centaur which his heart drop, “Mama! Mama! Is doctor Ollie okay? He’s hurt....”
Ralph put on a smile as she came over to her child yet the second she came within hugging distance he was on alert and worry filled his eyes, “Yes... yes he is hurt but he’s patching himself up now.” She replied honestly as she could with her knowing it might take sometime for the wound to fully heal- granted she wasn’t sure how fast centaurs (with the right healing skills + herbs) could actually heal, the werewolf took a seat beside her son on the bench and had one arm across the boy’s shoulders in comfort.

Ross gave a small nod to the queen in appreciation. "Thank you, Elaine," he replied. "I think we'll do that." Stifling a snicker, he added, "You should probably go see the Lord of Blitztown and the Count of Kcentville or whatever the cities are." Even though he did have much respect for the queen and knew that she wouldn't be pleased to greet them, she did have royal duties to fulfill - which included greeting nobles who visited the castle, if the nobles were at the castle at all.
(Hollywing the) (I just put the first words that jumped into my head- bingo, got a lord and count of somewhere lol)
“Yes, thank you Elaine.” Kaliah said with a smile which she was stuttering less now- granted her curiosity of the two visiting nobles and her mind still processing all this new information was a little bit overwhelming but a distraction for the most part, which she could tell that the queen had some dislike for the two visiting lesser nobility however she was still doing her ‘job’ as the ruling monarchy and welcoming her ‘important’ guests. “I dunno where those places are.... probably a small patch of land somewhere.” She couldn’t read a map but she did know the castle- Fairville Town and Marinus City.... only really because she was scared to death to travel outside of her comfort bubble and also she had visited several times with the latter two. She could hear some footsteps approaching the door they had entered which meant that the nobles in question plus an escorting guard were already on their way to this room.
Elaine grinned a bit, “Anytime.... now to be bored by the political games of noblemen who think they are immortal.” She stretched her arms a little bit as if to gear herself up and looked up a little when the sound of footsteps echo coming from the hallway that grew louder with each step they took closer, luckily she had asked for the guards to ‘stomp’ when escorting guests whenever she was already meeting someone else to give them time to leave without being seen- or the noblemen had heavy shoes they could barely walk in that made noise. “You both might want to head through the Servant’s Passage.” She pointed with her thumb behind her to the back wall which looked normal with the middle part being wooden panels however was secretly a passage way servants used to move through the castle without being seen, escaping from the castle or in her late mother’s case to sneak out.

Ross gave the queen a small dip of his head as he stood up from his chair. "Thank you for confiding in us with all that," he said with a small smile. "Bye." The elf began walking away from the queen's desk and toward the Servant's Passage. As he reached the entryway, he turned around. "You coming, Kaliah?"
“Bye Elaine.” Kaliyah said with a small smile, “I’m coming! Wait for me.” She added with giving a small nod in respect to the queen then getting up from the chair and heading over to where her friend was by the entranceway of the passage they would take, which the nearest exit should take them to either no the kitchens or dinning hall. The lamia went through the doorway quickly as she didn’t want to keep her friend waiting, but also she figured that them leaving before the two nobles enter the room was a good thing- that or they won’t have a day off.

"So, what should we do for the rest of the day?" Ross asked as he walked through the doorway. "I don't really feel like going outside, since another..." The elf took a pause in the middle of his sentence as he shuddered with fear. "Another cursed person could attack us. We don't need to work today, so there's almost nothing to do." Looking at his lamia friend, he asked again, "So, what should we do for the rest of the day?"
Kaliah thought for a moment as they walked through the passageway that lit up with small lights once they entered and the door closing behind them just as she heard the queen’s voice echoing behind them and greeting the two noblemen, “I....I don’t know.....” she got days off only for holidays, if a family member was ill or if she’s herself was sick and having just a normal day off was very strange. “....What should we do with what the que- I mean, Elaine told us? Well... I’m not sure what we can do....”

Ross shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly as he felt bad for not being able to really do much. For a person who liked to be active as well as help others, it was disheartening to come to the realization that he couldn't really do either. "I don't know," he sighed. "We're just two servants in the castle. There's not much that we can do." He continued walking through the passageway, though his pace had slowed down a little bit.
(Hollywing theas you can tell how this is going, I haven’t thought this out much....)
Kaliah nodded slowly in agreement as she too felt bad for not knowing how to help with her following alongside her friend, “Yeah....” she looked down at the cobblestone ground beneath their feet [figural in her case] that matched the walls and the overhanging ceiling above them which she saw the door just two feet away from them, “I guess there’s nothing we can do....” she wondered for a moment that today they had the freedom from their daily jobs so they could do anything they wished to do....within reason that is which a part of her wanted to go outside yet from being attacked by Cyania this morning and the rumors being true.... that is what she was afraid of getting attacked once more if she left the castle.

(Yeah XD. But I think we can either end the interaction around here or lead it on somewhere else?)
Ross let out a sigh of defeat as they approached the end of the passageway. "Since there's nothing to really do on the day off, we might as well go back to work," he said in a half-joking manner. He let out a soft chuckle on his own at the irony of it as he opened the door at the end of the Servants' Passage.
“Sounds like fun,” Kaliah said with a smile as having something to do that would help clear her mind of tofay’s events plus a calming factor, in a strange way she enjoyed doing her job granted gossip was going to be brutal once they got back to their respected professions. The lamia exited out of the passageway once they reached the next entranceway that luckily was somewhat close to the kitchens for her friend, “See you later Ross.”
