(Hollywing the X3 no problem~ yeah I’m taking my time, school’s been a killer)
Phil
“Yes, although they are small but should be fine for the night.” Phil replied as she took a sip of her drink and listening to the wind howling outside which she found both comforting yet unnerving only a little, storms could turn in a flick of a heartbeat forming growing to size or lasting for days on end. “How’s business?” The captain asked with her suggesting the trade deal done between the warrior and the hobbit woman she had brief seen in the market place before entering the inn.
**** (random npc) The innkeeper marked notes down in the logbook as the next set of new customers came up to the desk, “Welcome to Riverside’s Inn gentlemen and ladies.” He greeted with a respectful nod to the knights of the kingdom, “I’ve only got four rooms left... but there’s at least two beds in each room.... will that be enough?” The hobbit explained the situation on the status of the inn’s housing as they were luckily his last in regards of board for the night however he did want to accommodate them, they were after all the protectors of this fair land- even if they caused a wildfire of gossip and rumors on why they were here. It was great for business.

Ariella
The elf pulled out her satchel and put the four coins she received from the hobbit woman onto the table. "I traded a few herbs for these," she replied with a note of pride in her voice. The corner of her mouth twitched slightly as she added, "But that was all the business I could do. Maybe there'll be better luck tomorrow."
Oliver
The man tilted his head thoughtfully as he listened to the description of the rooms before nodding. "Reserve three rooms then, sir," he answered to the innkeeper monotonously. "How much for that?" The Commander tugged at a small brown satchel around his waist with a few coins in it. Despite being in a position of power, Oliver never liked using his rank to get away with not paying for things such as rooms to stay in.
(Hollywing the, I made Vincent’s sis~ name is Mabel )
Phil smiles a bit in response which she was happy they got some coins, “We may have to leave in the morning.” She replied thinking taking a quick sip of her drink and a swift glance to the knights who were currently getting rooms for the night as well, she didn’t like being ‘trapped’ within the same walls with the enemy it almost felt like a cage. I sure do miss the woods right now..... she thought to herself however shook the thought from her mind, “Let’s just have a good meal and sleep tonight.” She added with a smile then hearing some music being played by the village’s bard and hearing the cheer of people that blocked out the storm outside.
*****
“About ten coins.” The innkeeper replied which was a decent amount of pay plus the meal for tonight included. Music started to play which it’s lively tune started cheerful laughter even singing along with the bard.
Mabel entered the inn with her cloak held tight against her that protected her from the rain however she felt like she was soaked- she would be if not for her cloak, she pulled the hood from her face with her seeing the older knights and the commander which was upon seeing them she smiled. “Commander, Knights.” She greeted respectfully which she managed to catch up with them in time yet did get caught in the storm, she had a report that her brother wanted the commander to see with the satchel being tucked under her arm.

Ariella
Ariella nodded in agreement as she tucked the satchel and coins away. The warrior turned her gaze back to the patrol of knights, her eyes narrowed with anger. I wonder what business they have here, she thought, clenching her fists. But if it's nothing good, I'm not letting them get away with it.
Oliver
Oliver gave a small bob of his head as he pulled out the amount the innkeeper requested. He turned his head at the familiar voice of the Ruler's sister. The Commander bowed curtly in respect, though his head was slightly tilted and his eyebrows furrowed at her presence. "What brings you here, Princess?" he asked, his voice not betraying his curiosity. Perhaps Vincent sent her to see how we are doing in managing whatever rebels are around here, he guessed, but we haven't caught them yet...
Jordan’s curiosity of the knights dimmed as a bard started to play an instrument and people started to sing along, clap along or even dance to the beat. Quite a lovely area here, good people, good music and good food.... he thought to himself which he figured he might stick around here a good while longer perhaps two more days or so, he had ordered himself a meal that consisted of a hearty soup that was a local specialty. He had noticed another person coming into the building but didn’t pay much attention because he was being stared down by a cat who was perched upon the table from across the room. Cat......a cat.... a cat.... just my fantastic luck...... he and those felines didn’t make the best friends- being a Mer the closest thing to that creature was a ‘catfish’, not a four-legged spotted fluffy cat who ate too much pie.
****
Mabel took out a scroll from her satchel and handing it to the commander, “When you have the time, the king wishes you to read this.... I am not sure what it contains however he said it’s for you only.” She explained with her referring to her brother as the king to make it formally respectful however her voice lowered to a whisper upon the details of the rolled up parchment. The square had glanced briefly around the inn when she came in and wasn’t that impressed with the place, the raging storm outside clearly meant she was going to stay the night here.
****
“Just ignore them,” Phil turned her gaze from the music to see that the warrior had interests other than the drink and onto the patrol of knights, “They might think your up to no good.” She teased slightly with a grin appearing on her face as the captain then chuckled a little at her own joke- the fact they were basically outlaws and being ‘hunted’ by these very people, she was quite curious of why such a high ranking knight would be here in this small village and seeing another join the group which she figured it was one of their squires who had gotten lost however they were out of earshot so that wa s the only downside of their current location.

Ariella
Ariella turned around and smiled dryly at the Captain's comment. "We wouldn't want that happening, would we?" she murmured with a tinge of humor in her serious tone. "But I don't quite understand what they're doing here in what's basically the middle of nowhere." With a soft chuckle, she added, "I can guarantee that the knights didn't come here for the view."
Oliver
He gave the slightest nod as he took the scroll from her as he tucked it away in a small satchel around his waist. I wonder what Vincent wrote for me only, he thought to himself. "Is that all that you're here for, Princess?" he asked, his voice still monotonous.
“I am also here for my training,” Mabel replied with her being a little mad at herself for not tagging along with her mentor for such a patrol that even a new squire could handle, she didn’t like the fact they were staying at this inn in the middle of a village she never heard of before. “My brother informed me of the mission, besides I’m great at conversation.” She added with a grin at the end as the twelve year-old would act as her brother’s spy not only around other members of the group but also within the castle’s staff for only the good of the Order.
***
Phil shrugged a little as the captain leaned back into the wooden chair and her feet kicked up on a small stool that was under the table to give her feet some rest from walking all day, “They could be stopping for the night to move on- this place is far from the castle, or searching for something....” she mused a little with the possibilities starting to fill up in her mind which there could be one that they were looking for some from their group. “Lets just watch and wait to see what happens....” she had caught a glimpse of something paperlike being handed from the younger knight to the commander.

Ariella
She gave a slight nod of her head in agreement and took a sip from her drink. Her gaze still darted back to the knights, but she now noticed another person with them that looked like a young girl. What is she doing with the Order? Ariella wondered with a slight frown.
Oliver
Oliver's expression didn't change as his head tilted slightly in acknowledgment. "I see," he murmured underneath his breath. "I suppose I could fit in some training in this mission for you, Princess." He felt a tingle of unease as he wondered why he hadn't thought to bring his own squire with him earlier - perhaps Vincent noticed and would use this to remove him from the rank of Commander? Though the Commander gave no hint of worry, his heartbeat pounded heavily in his chest.
Phil looked around from the makeshift stage where the bard was singing to someone being stared down by a cat then to the group of armored knights, The girl must be a squire.... must have some nobility in her blood, they seem to have some high regard for her.... poor lass, probably hasn’t seen what an actually farm looks like.... she thought to herself with a shake of her head, she was taught even prior to ‘joining’ the rebels that hard work was what made a person who they are- it was what her father had called honest work and what her mentor called it a stepping stone from moving up in the world.
Mabel. (XD I’m starting like Mabel more)
“Thank you Commander Cliffton,” Mabel said with that sweet smile of hers which some of the other knights seemed a little uneasy not that she blame do them, the squire with one word could have them be sent to the dungeon, be demoted, or who knows what else however she idolized the second-in-command. He was the greatest knight of their Order and she was determined to be just like him, she flinched a little when a huge clap of thunder sounded overheard leaving her a little shaken. “Should I find a table for us to sit at?” She then asked politely as there wasn’t much of a ‘fancy’ table with each table being mix-matched or just ordinary, besides she wanted to get something to get a meal and discuss with them as she was hungry from being in the road with some snacks and bored out of her mind from the fact she traveled here alone.

Ariella
The warrior forced herself to tear her gaze away from the patrol of knights and felt her mouth open as she let out a yawn. "I think I'll be heading to bed now," she murmured as she sipped some more of her drink. "Where are our rooms, Phil?"
Oliver
Oliver's eyebrow raised as he thought for mere seconds before he gave his squire a stiff nod and a hand gesture to say "go ahead". The Commander lifted his gaze to observe his surroundings - perhaps the rebels he was sent to look for were staying at the inn as well. That would be too lucky of a coincidence, he thought to himself with a sigh. But I suppose that my patrol should start looking for them once the weather lightens a bit.
“Yours is down the hall on the far right, mine is on the next floor in the far back.... both rooms have a nice view.” Phil replied with her gesturing with her drink of where the rooms where located and giving out a subtle hint, those with a view meant windows, that meant escape routes in case they were caught and with the lot of knights residing within the same building.... probably was a good thinking. “Have a restful sleep,”
Mabel
Mabel gave a quick salute in response with her looking for a table that was neither crowded, empty of at least six chairs and table clean which fortune was on her side. There was a nice table a Little always from the hearth that kept the building warm but a decent spot for them all to gather around, plus the tables were distanced evenly apart so that people wouldn’t bump into one another.... she was thankful for that. “Over here.”
(This is the Timeskip for the next morning below, feel free to respond to bot hours or just the one below)
Jordan
The trader of the seas who claimed that he could drink a barrel ( of apple cider) in five minutes had gone to bed seasick an hour later, Jordan groaned as he woke up and clutching his head a little with him getting a bit to carried away with his gloating of how he could out-eat a pirate in an eating contest to tales of riches. “One day.... one day your going to wish you put salt in yer mouth instead of sugar.... oh fin.... I’m quoting mum now.... seashells....” he grumbled under his breath and slowly getting up out of his bed.
Mabel
Mabel was fast asleep in the straw bed, she shared the room with another female knight who was already awake and getting ready. “Ten more minutes...” she muttered sending the young girl pulled the covers over her head more, she had a rather restless night and barely could sleep on the mattress with her wondering how people get up in the morning like this, she missed her soft pillows and velvet blankets and bedding made of feathers. ”Lady Mabel, you must wake up...the earlier we leave the-” she heard the knight say while gently shaking her shoulder that made her sit up quickly in her bed. “Ok! I’m up! Let’s go- right clothes first, got to make myself presentable...”
Phil
Phil was sitting out in the main part of the inn and at one of the tables, everything was still quiet for the most part with only a few guests slowly making there way in for a nice meal before starting the day. Her own sleep was a little hard- being in the same building as the enemy wasn’t all that comforting nor was the fact that at any moment they could get jumped by them or mercenaries that the king had placed some bounties on the more... ‘vocal’ or ‘known’ people of her group, more than once did she have to disarm such a person while on a mission however this place seemed nice enough for the most part.
(And Myrtle left quiet early)

Oliver
Oliver blinked his eyes open at the crack of dawn by habit after a dream in which Vincent ordered the beheading of the leader of the rebel group and the "Wolf of Shadows" was defeated once and for all. If only that had already happened, he thought to himself as he changed into his Commander attire. Life would be much easier if so.
He glanced over to the other knight, whom seemed to be getting as much sleep as he could. Sighing, Oliver walked across the room and prodded the knight. "Get up," he ordered gruffly. "We have a mission to complete." And the mission is to find and capture the rebels - including a warrior named Ariella Russell.
Ariella
When Ariella woke up, she was surprised to find that the sun was fairly well up in the sky rather than just rising. She jumped out of bed and quickly changed into a simple traveler garb before dashing out the door. She hurried into the inn's cavern, glancing around for the Captain of the Resistance. Where is Phil? she wondered.
Archer
Archer had headed out to the town square early in the morning. The storm the previous day had drove him back home sooner than he would have liked, and he wanted to make up for the lost time. The elf eyed his surroundings for other people - and for the knights he had spotted the day before. It doesn't seem like a lot of people are out yet, he noted. But there's no harm in trying to find someone to do business with.
Formerly a Guest (Hollywing, Unnamed For Now, Heather <3)
The captain was drinking a mug of hot chocolate that was heavenly when she was the warrior dash into the inn’s tavern, she motioned Ariella with a small wave of her cup to join her which she ordered two meals already for both of them. “Morning friend, sleep well? Did the bed bugs bite?” She teased a little with a smile on her face which sometimes the best way to remain undetected was to not be broody and gloomy in a corner of a dark room in a building, that and she wanted to have a little fun.... being cooped up in the same place as the enemy was very stressful and really not the greatest to sleep with one eye open.
Jordan
Jordan got dressed quick as he could and headed on out where the food was being served which he saw that some patrons were already chatting away or eating- both things he was good at, the mer sat down at one of the tables not caring much if it was reserved for a party or ‘belonging’ to someone at this point he just wanted to eat a nice breakfast and head back to the square. “Thank you miss,” he said with a charming smile and wink at one of the servers who gave him a plate of food that was to die for which the waitress giggled and went back to her job. Now lets see if this will clear my head... he thought to himself.
Mabel
Not being an early riser however at the mention of leaving this disasterly place yet somewhat quaint place behind made her so, she fixed her hair to perfection and armor fixed into place before following the female knight down the hall, “How are we going to find the rebels in the first place? They could be anywhere.... like bugs...yuck...” she was talking with the other knight- or more that the younger squire was doing most of it and noticeable shivered at the mention of bugs, she hated those pesky creatures ever since her brother put worms in her shoe when she was younger.... or that time when she found cockroaches in an old chest.

Oliver
Once Oliver decided that the other knight was also prepared for the day ahead, they left the room together - the former making sure to lock the door behind them. The Commander noticed Mabel and the female knight further down the hall, and gestured to his own companion to catch up to the others. He himself quickened his pace to approach the two, eventually matching their strides. "Good morning," he greeted with a slight nod addressed to the both of them.
Ariella
Ariella's ears perked as she recognized the Captain in the crowd of people that had come to the inn for the night during the storm. She approached the table and seated herself next to her friend. "Maybe one did, because my arm has been itching," she answered, matching the Captain's light tone and giving her left arm a light scratch for emphasis. "What about you, Phil?"
“Eh, I think my bed had some thorns in it.” Phil replied with a joke which emphasized that she didn’t sleep all that well, every single sound she heard in the night kept her up from the creaking of a floorboard to the rambunctious laughter that echoed from this room. “It’ll get better once we head on back.” She added then starting to eat her breakfast for the day which was the standard meal for really any type of meal at this time of day but consisted of a little bit from each food group.
Mabel
“Good Morning Commander,” Mabel and the other knight said in unison with them stopping briefly for them to catch up, they were only a few steps away from the main part of the inn and already she could smell food being cooked that did make her stomach growl a little. Despite eating ‘normal people food’ it did feel her belly and honestly she wasn’t going to complain until after they left this place, she didn’t want to make a comment and get poisoned like her brother that one time. “Let’s carry on...” she quickly added after her stomach growled in order to hide her embarrassment and keep moving forward.
