(( I put this story a little more looser. Humans are still really rare, its only this city has a little more then say the more rural towns just because city officials and police men are trying to get the city back to something semi habitable. So really the only humans around are official people, no civilians. ))
Cypress paused, turning her gaze to the straying loners. As much as she detested the idea of being around strangers anymore than normal- which, she was sure Kleel could attest to- was to not be near them at all, the husky had proved itself capable of some feats of strength. Looking across at her tired pack, Cypress knew as deeply as she'd felt her own side injury, that they would need some help to get out. Finding shelter was already proving to be more trouble than it was probably worth, and with at least half of her current pack completely uneducated in city living and hunting, they would need the help. Bleh. Peering over at the pack, she nodded her head. "I'll be back in a moment. Kleel, you're in charge. Howl if there is a problem." Without much thought, the white german shepherd padded after the lone dogs. "Hold on there." She hissed, admittedly outpaced. "You and me, dog- lets talk. A truce." She called after Hrafn's back, stiff. @aetherwyvern66
Alyx watched his sibling take off, eyes turning back to the building. With not much option, the male dog shrugged and took a step onto the glass- which, of course, immediately cut his paw. Determined, he forced himself to cross the glass, barely pressing a paw down as he tried to move across, hisses of pain under his breathe as he finally pushed towards the entrance. The moment he found a chance to rest he sat, lifting up a paw tearfully to eye the dots of blood. Nothing all that severe honestly, but gosh did it hurt. Not to mention if he squinted, he could make out small glass fragments barely embedded in his stinging paw. "Owowow." He whimpered, contemplating whether or not licking the wound was a good idea. Hrafn - C H I Y O Hrafn followed Beta, but not out of fear. Out of the need to show she wasn't afraid to fight. She asked, "What is this truce? What do you need me for? We were about to go to a place. Why not Lupin?" She stood tall, but stayed on her guard.
Cypress "What- Who-," She began, shaking her head. "Whoever that is- I'm bringing this to you since you seem to be in charge of this little group. I have seen your strength." She hesitated, trying to decide just how much to disclose to this dog. "I am of this city- but some of my pack, they haven't seen a city in their life. And they are too tired to learn how to feed themselves here." The beta refused to admit she was asking for help. The thought of the word made her tongue feel her numb, and she hoped the steeliness in her gaze conveyed such ideas. "Don't think I trust you- this is merely an exchange- your groups temporary alliance in exchange for something from us- name your price."
Dragon winced as the black dog tried to cross. He barked down at them and then watched as the white dog he suspected of being the leader walked away. Confused, he watched a moment before turning away and quickly moving to the stairs. After he had made his way down and unlocked the door, he trotted over to the entrance, careful to keep away from the glass that had scattered inside the building as well. He didn't speak, just stared at them, studying them. From this angle, he could make out the breeds of most of the dogs. The white male still eluded him so he simply made a mental note of 'wolf' for him. One thing he was sure of was that most of the dogs here didn't seem comfortable. Not that one would normally find comfort in standing before a field of broken glass. Or standing in it for that matter.
Kleel-Wolf/Dog-(Pack, Alyx)
Kleel opened his mouth in protest, then snapped his attention upward at the strange dark furred dog peering out a hole. He was about to speak again when he looked down and saw Alyx trying to cross. With a frustrated growl, he tried to reach out and grab him, but the black shepherd moved too quickly out of his reach. He really didn't want to step on the glass, but he also didn't want Cypress's brother hurt. Not that he particularly liked him, but Cypress wouldn't be too happy about this. "Don't go any fur--" he stopped mid sentence as the dark furred dog came into view on the other side of the broken glass. He growled again, his fur bristling along his spine. He had had enough annoying new dogs for one day.
Kai Maikoh-Tamaskan-()
Once she the hole was big enough for her to wiggle through, Kai Maikoh did so, leaving tufts of fur stuck in the fence as she struggled to get free. Once out, she ran as fast as she could into the city, not caring where she ended up. After crossing quite a few streets, she slowed to a stop. Panting and shaking from exhaustion and adrenaline, she looked around to see where she had ended up. Some street with tall glass buildings and metal machines scattered around. She hadn't seen these very often when she had lived with her people. They hadn't liked it when the other men brought them and often yelled at them for it.

Alyx froze at the sight of a yet another dog. With a startled yelp he just barely kept himself falling into even more glass. Instead, his foot landed in it, which still hurt. Snatching his paw back to his side with another low whine, he turned his head to the stranger. "Oh- well, hello there! Hadn't known a dog was still living in this building- or, any of the buildings around here if we're being frank. My names Alyx! And these are.. well, I don't really remember any of your names. Sorry." He called to the pack, completely ignorant, or perhaps just ignoring the white dog's rather unfriendly demeanor to a new potential friend. "I'm terribly sorry, but would you mind if we, err, rest inside that apartment for tonight?" Jadestone
Hrafn - C H I Y O Hrafn thought for a second and said, "First, there is a mostly wolf over there," she pointed with her muzzle, "Named Lupin. Second, I will say the price is none of your dogs will ever be allowed to attack mine, even after the alliance is over. You may break this if we are stealing prey, or getting rid of your dens or something like that. I accept when you agree." She looked at Beta, an expression saying, "I will kill you if you say something wrong."
Dragon tilted his head ever so slightly as he studied the wolfish dog. When the black shepherd spoke, he turned to face him, his expression and demeanor calm. "Alyx," he repeated to himself, scanning his memory. Nope, he hadn't heard the name before. At the request, Dragon raised a brow and looked around him and the glass field. "If you can find a way back to your friends there," he said, nodding to the three on the far side of the glass. He didn't bother to offer his name. It wasn't really important right now.
Kleel-Wolf/Dog-(Group gathered at the entrance)
Kleel glanced at Alyx briefly before turning his gaze back to the new dog. He couldn't tell what breed he was from here, only that he looked even bigger than himself. Of course, in the darkness, it was harder to tell the exact shape of the dog. He didn't seem very aggressive despite the fact that they were intruding, though he definitely wasn't sharing Alyx's over friendliness.
ALYX The black shepherd paused, pleased face froze at the mention of going back. Oh boy. Looking down at the glass rubble with an expression best described as tearfully remorse, he sucked in a breathe, "Here we goo." He groaned, throwing himself over the glass and rushing through it, all but hopping instead of walking. Back on the other side, he fell onto his hind, groaning as he examined his most beaten up paws. "Ha-Happy?" He gasped, whines breaking through the words. Jadestone
CYPRESS Beta stared hard, steel golden gaze following the husky's shape. "Under one condition- both of our groups will not casually mingle like some sort of leashed dogs." She growled, long tail swinging. "Because in the end- all your group is but a ragtag team of dogs. I don't want any of yours thinking we are friends of any kind. Should any harm come to any of my pack- I will personally tear you apart. If you can accept that then you have a deal." @aetherwyvern66
Hrafn - C H I Y O "I agree. I know my group." and in a lower voice she added, "At least longpaws couldn't keep any of my group in the Trap House." She knew Beta wouldn't be able to hear exactly what she said, as she slurred her words and muttered. Lupin - none Lupin was next to the corgi and the husky corgi mix. He asked, "Who are you guys? I'm Lupin, the sled dog from Hrafn's abusive longpaw." They answered. Vixen, the pure corgi, and Flicker, the mix. Vixen was ready to lay down in the pile of leaves that was in the center of camp. They were not too near camp. She lay down and slept Flicker is watching Vixen and Lupin.
(Speaking of fire alarms, mine went off a couple hours ago. @aetherwyvern66 , can you please not have your characters aid them?)
Dragon-American Alsatian-(Group)
Dragon huffed slightly and scanned the area around the group. "Probably best for you to find or wait for the other one," he woofed and then disappeared into the building. Passing the front desk, he walked along the smooth tilted floor to the back hallway. Exersize equipment through one door, a pool in the other, and other things he didn't really care to explore. At the very back, right next to the doors to the indoor pool, was a large metal door with a push bar. These kinds of doors were some of the easiest to open and they locked once they closed. Which meant he probably wasn't going outside unless he wanted to learn how to pull glass out of his fur. He did a quick test of the door, making sure he wouldn't set off any alarms when it opened. The door opened easily and swung open, letting out a loud clang as it hit against something before swinging closed and locking. No screeching alarms, not a fire exit.
Kleel-Wolf/Dog-(Group)
Kleel moved over to Alyx and examined his paws from a fair distance. He could see the small shards sparkling in the faded sunlight. They looked just like ice shards, if only they would melt like them. He supposed they would be more like small thorns to pull out. He glanced back at the spot where the new dog had been, contemplating what he had said. Cypress would be back soon. At the sound of the clang, he nearly jumped, barely managing to keep his paws on the ground. He hated cities.

Hrafn left and took another board and laid it over the clearstone, resulting in a safer place to walk. They could cross. She motioned to Flicker, Vixen, and Lupin to follow her. They went across and were inside. Things Hrafn had never seen before resided here. She nudged Lupin. "Remember when we went and got in some buildings, selling meat?" He nodded. "Does that remind you of anything?" She didn't respond and laid down
CYPRESS Cypress squinted at the husky, turning her head with a proud jut. "Alright then. I'm returning back to my camp- we meet a sunset in the city clearing." She declared, turning away and heading back for the pack without much word. Steering through the darkening alleyways, the shepherd almost thought she recalled such streets in her youth. She made sure not to stare too close. Finally emerging, she spotted the group and strolled over, keeping her head high. Making her way up front to Kleel and her idiot brother, she paid his whining and injured paw a glance before huffing back a laugh. "I assumed you of all dogs would have realized trying to walk across this stuff was a bad idea." With not much more then a head-shake to his whiney reply, she turned a cool gaze to Kleel. "Anything happen whilest I was gone except for this?" She asked, head dipping to the injured dog beside her. Jadestone, @aetherwyvern66
(I am going to go to bed before I start making no sense.)
Kleel-Wolf/Dog-(Pack)
Kleel relaxed when he saw Cypress return. "The owner of the building appeared. Not really sure about him. He doesn't seem hostile, though," he replied as he looked over at her brother again. This dog really wasn't made for wild life, was he? As he thought this, he heard the new dog speak again and he turned to look at him.
Dragon-American Alsatian-(Pack)
Dragon padded back to the entrance, noticing that the third white dog had returned. "Good! She is back," he barked, stopping about a foot away from where the broken glass started on his end. "Go around the side of the building," he instructed and then walked away, trusting that they would follow his direction. At the back, he pushed on the door again, this time stepping out a bit and leaning against it to keep it open while he waited for the group to come.

CYPRESS The white german shepherd nodded, staring at where the strange dog had disappeared. Reluctantly, she nodded to the pack. "This way. If he shows any sign of a threat don't be afraid to attack." She huffed, following Dragon's orders. Rounding the back she made it toward the open door. Eyeing the stranger with clear distrust, she contemplated going first or letting someone else go. With a heavy mental sigh and another hard stare, she began to pass into the room. Jadestone good night lol
