So, I kinda want to try a school RP. With a twist.
The students and teachers have genetics from animals. Anything from unicorns to rabbits. The humans have the animal features, like fast heartbeats for rabbits, ears(Sometimes), tails, maybe wings if a bird or fantasy creature, carnivores recieve, in most cases, pointed canines, and then their hair is always colored as the fur/scales of the creature given. I.e. Coyotes would have grayish yellow hair, foxes red, wolves gray, etc. If you are something like a mallard duck, then, if you were male, your hair would be green. You would be able to glide with your wings, but you'd have to be naked. The wings are kinda your arms.
If you are a reptile, here are some things:
Your eyes will be exactly the same(except for sight, just appearance)as the given animal's eyes, you are able to use a slight heat vision(for those reptiles) and your skin would be rougher, closer to scale texture. The skin often will have a shimmer, and on given days of the school year you can go to the bathroom and shed. YES YOU DO HAVE TO SHED. Your hair is always the shade of the scales, so if you were a rattlesnake, it would be the dusty brown.
EXAMPLE
Yes this is perfectly viable to use. Dragons, not too op, are fine.
Name: Jennifer "Flier" Smith
Species: Dragon
Appearance: Her hair is a lovely shade of purple, with ripples of blue and green. Horns sprout from her skull. Wings are out, through carefully cut holes in her green clothes. Often wearing some bling, with the greedy tendacies of dragons. Her eyes are an inhuman yellow, and she sometimes breathes smoke. Tall, with an intimidating stance.
