(Sorry I haven’t been on, been busy with schoolwork)
Moosefur had made some small talk with the warrior Honeysuckle after the clan meeting, then had gone to bed. It’s morning already? Hmm… better see if Coalpaw’s ready she thought to herself as she opened her eyes, stretching her limbs then exiting the Warriors den.
Streamclaw was sound asleep in his own nest, though he began to wake up as the movement of other warriors getting up and moving around. “Hmm…. Five more minutes….” He mumbled in his sleep but was starting to get a little irritated that he would have to get up again. He had been on guard duty last night and had been relived of it sometime before the sun rose.

Losthowl sat outside of the elder's den, she turned back into it after the meeting was over and curled up into a ball, her paws buried into her paws. As early sun started to warm her grey pelt, she lifted her head and padded outside into the full sunlight. She sat, watching the others get ready for the day. I will sit here and go back inside when I'm warmer... She attempted to speak again, but just like all those other times, she didn't make a sound, so she lowered her head, and waited for the sun to warm her up.

Honeysuckle left the warrior's den. She was hoping to see Streamclaw outside, but he wasn't. Honeysuckle left clan to go hunting, maybe catch a lizard, she knows that would impress Streamclaw....
Hi, I have a name, but just call me Mudrabbit. You know brains? Those things that are really important? The things that named themselves? The things that get tumors and make you have seizers? Oh wait. Yeah, that last part sucks, trust me. It was an interesting time, to say the least. I even wrote a poem about it! I posted it in the Off Topic Fiction thing, then the poetry thread. Let me know what you think!

Mothfur- Mothfur cares for her clan very much and does whatever she can to take care of her clanmates. She may seem not-so-nice due to her sharp tongue and occasional harsh temper, though she is actually a real sweetheart who loves humor. She is sarcastic a lot and that's what usually gets mistaken as ill-tempered. Mothfur is clever and doesn't like to take no for an answer to anything. She is just very determined in that way.
"Every day is a new adventure, so there will always be something new to do and see!" Icetalon promised Moonpaw. She led the way out of camp and into the wilderness, where their hunting session would soon begin. As the camp disappeared from sight, the grayish-white she-cat scented the air for prey. "Quick, what can you smell if anything?" she quizzed, wanting to test Moonpaw's prey tracking skills.

Coalpaw rose to his paws and walked out of the apprentice’s den. He stood for a moment in the warming sun, but then trotted over to Moosefur with a grin. “What are we doing today” He asked and his tail twitched in excitement.

"Very good! Your tracking skills are coming along very nicely" Icetalon praised. She was impressed with Moonpaw's swift response."Now, show me your best hunting crouch."

Moonpaw crouched down, ears flat against his head, mouth slightly open. He slowly and quietly set his paws on the floor, creeping towards the rabbit scent. He finally saw the rabbit, it was long and skinny, chewing some tufts of weeds and grass. Moonpaw couched closer, and closer, until the rabbit's head perked up, but Moonpaw was faster. He pounced, landing on the rabbit, then swiftly he bit its neck. "How was that?" Moonpaw asked Icetalon, his eyes glimmering with pride.

Moosefur smiled a bit when her apprentice came up to her, it was good seeing young apprentices eager for the day ahead. “We are going hunting today and on the way we’ll go over things about the territory.” she mewed in response, it had not been that long since the tom’s apprenticeship and she wanted to make sure that he knew everything he could about the land. “Ready to go?”
(Open)
Streamclaw left his comfy nest as he didn’t want to get dragged out again like a lazy apprentice, that was embarrassing enough the first time. Letting out a small yawn and stretching his joints a little, he was by no means an old cat but sometimes they got a little stiff from sleeping. Mother should’ve named me Log the memory entering his mind, as he was a deep sleeper for the most part and had once fell asleep during a clan meeting as an apprentice.

Honeysuckle returned to camp and saw Streamclaw outside the warrior's den. She had a lizard and a small mouse in her mouth. She walked over to Streamclaw and set down her catch. "Look what I caught! It was super fast, but I was faster." Honeysuckle said with a hint of nervousness in her voice.

Icetalon watched as Moonpaw hunted the rabbit. The rabbit being hunted was quite large for a small cat like Moonpaw to catch. Yet, this didn't stop Moonpaw for anything. In Icetalon's eyes, her apprentice took it like it was nothing! He did amazing, and it was a clean catch too! He hunted like a true warrior. "Excellent catch, Moonpaw! The leader will be pleased to hear what a great hunter you are." Icetalon praised with pride. "Let's keep hunting for a while longer, though. With Leafbare quickly approaching, we need all the prey we can gather. You head that way, and I'll go this way," Icetalon instructed, pointing in the direction she was going to hunt in, intending for her apprentice to go the opposite way.

Moonpaw buried the rabbit and went in the direction Icetalon pointed to. Even though they are in a desert, the winters are still deadly. Moonpaw walked with his mouth slightly open, then, he smelled something. It was a quail. Moonpaw crouched down and slowly crept forward. He wasn't to familiar with killing birds, but he was determined to impress Icetalon. He crept slowly and once he was close enough, Moonpaw pounced. He swiped the quail then gave a finishing bite. Moonpaw kept going but found nothing. That quail was a lucky catch. Moonpaw kept going though, wanting to catch one more thing. He kept going then heard a loud rustling. He froze. Moonpaw saw scales and thought it was a horned lizard. He backed away slowly, remembering what his mother told him about horned lizards and that you had to back away slowly. Moonpaw then sniffed the air and realized it was just a normal lizard. One of the large, speedy, and skinny types. But it was to late, the lizard had already scurried off. Moonpaw walked back to where he killed the rabbit and grabbed his quail on the way.

Icetalon padded in the direction opposite from Moonpaw's. She tasted the air for prey. As she did so, she tracked a rabbit's scent and stalked after it.
...
Soon, it was time to meet back up with Moonpaw. Since they'd separated, Icetalon managed to catch the rabbit she initially stalked after along with a couple of mice. Overall, it was a very successful hunt. She couldn't wait to see what her apprentice had caught.

Moonpaw got back and sat next to the buried rabbit and quail. He then smelled his mentor and decided to scare her. Moonpaw walked into some bushes and behind some rocks and such. After that, he rolled around in the dirt, hoping that would cover his scent. Then, he waited.

Streamclaw looked up to see the warrior Honeysuckle approach him, “Great catch!” He mewed and wouldn’t admit but his stomach was the thing that woke the tom up. “Are you feeling alright honeysuckle? You seem a bit on edge.” He then asked with a small tilt of his head, having caught the nervous tone that the she-cat had and seemed like something was bothering her.
