Streamclaw had helped to carry the injured warrior back to camp, staying behind with both her and the medicine cat in case she needed his help. “”Right,” he mewed in response to Mothfur and padded closer to the nest to keep the warrior company but also stayed out of the way in case that Mothfur needed it. “Hey Honeysuckle, how are you feeling?” He asked as he sat down by the nest and looking down at her.
“Hm?” Moosefur stopped beside her apprentice and scented the air, her ears going back at the foul smell of crow food and twoleg. “I do.” She mewed coolly in response and scanned the surrounding with her eyes, she did not see anything out of the ordinary but that didn’t mean that something was not out of place. “Let’s head back to camp and pick up the prey we caught, I’ll report this when we get back.” She did not want to take the chance of something happening, Coalpaw was still young and a patrol of warriors would be better suited to looking into it.

"I'm feeling.... ok? My leg kinda hurts, especially when I move it." Honeysuckle said in response, looking longingly at Streamclaw. "Are you ok? Did anyone else get hurt?" Honeysuckle asked with worry in her voice.
Hi, I have a name, but just call me Mudrabbit. You know brains? Those things that are really important? The things that named themselves? The things that get tumors and make you have seizers? Oh wait. Yeah, that last part sucks, trust me. It was an interesting time, to say the least. I even wrote a poem about it! I posted it in the Off Topic Fiction thing, then the poetry thread. Let me know what you think!

"I think Moonpaw will be ready to become a warrior very soon. Of course, he needs to be assessed for both hunting and fighting, but I definitely think he'll be ready," Icetalon meowed confidently. "What do you think?" she asked Raspystar.
Very quickly, Mothfur returned with a bundle of herbs to use to treat the venomous snakebite. She brought snakeroot and stinging nettle, both of which are used to draw out poison or venom. The medicine cat dropped the stinging nettle bundle in front of Streamclaw. "I need you to chew this up so that it can be applied to the wound," Mothfur instructed. She then proceeded to do the same with the snakeroot.

"Interesting.... You seem very confident." Raspystar said, keeping his eyes locked with Icetalon. "Ok, how about you asses him tomorrow on his hunting. Send him to Pathless, there are plenty of places to hide there. You are dismissed." Raspystar said. He had not dropped his gaze with Icetalon the whole time she was there, he even looked at her as she left his den.

Coalpaw nodded, a bounded over to where the mouse was buried and picked it up in his jaws. I bet Quailheart will like this Coalpaw thought. He wished he had caught more, but with Bareleaf coming, the prey was growing less abundant
“No one else got hurt,” Streamclaw quickly mewed in hopes of keeping the injured cat calm, though before he could say anything else did Mothfur come back with two kinds of herbs. Looking down at the bundle of stinging nettles, he had a feeling the taste would not be that great but he did as he was told and started to chew the herb into a poultice. Yuck…. This stuff is nasty… good thing she’s not having to eat this he thought to himself, making a bit of a face as he chewed and then spitting it out once it became a poultice on the leaf for the medicine cat to use.
Moosefur followed right behind her apprentice and picked up the prey she had caught, keeping an eye out for anything strange. “Let’s go.” She mewed to her apprentice as the warrior walked past him, lightly brushing against his shoulder to catch his attention and started to walk in the direction of camp. Soon as they got to camp, dropping off the prey they caught her next stop would be seeing the leader and reporting what they scented near the Abandoned mines.

Honeysuckle watched the two cats chewing herbs, then something scared her. How bad is this? Am I gonna die!? Quickly she spoke her mind. "Mothfur, am I going to die?"

Coalpaw watched for a moment as Moosefur disappeared into the buzz of camp, presumably to talk to Raspystar. Then, he picked up the mouse he caught and trotted over the the elder’s den. “Um, Quailheart, I got you a mouse.” He said, pushing the prey over to Quailheart’s paws.
Mothfur spat the herbs she was chewing up onto the same leaf Streamclaw spat his out onto. With the poultice ready, Mothfur picked up the leaf and gently wrapped it around Honeysuckle's snake-bitten leg. "You won't die, Honeysuckle. I'll make sure of it," Mothfur promised the hurt she-cat. With Honeysuckle's leg taken care of, Mothfur went back to her herb storage and returned with a few poppyseeds. "Here, take these. They will help you get to sleep and will also ease the pain." she meowed to her.

Moonpaw was walking outside of the elder's den when he saw Icetalon walking over. Moonpaw sat down as she came near. "Hey, how are ya'?" He asked the she-cat.

Streamclaw kept quiet as the medicine cat worked on the the injured warrior, seeing how Honeysuckle was doing so far it seemed like a swift recovery. He turned to Honeysuckle when she called him by a weird name, but figured it was the medicine working. “It’s mid-day, but still get your rest Honeysuckle.” He mewed in reply as he looked at Mothfur, “Mothfur, is there anything else I can do to help?”
Moosefur dropped off the prey she had caught into the pile then making her way towards the leader’s den, seeing that the leader wasn’t in the clearing that meant the den. “Raspystar, may I come in?” She announced her presence at the den’s entrance, waiting for the response to continue into the den. She hoped that a patrol would be sent to investigate, or at the very least survey the area for the time being.

"Moosefur? Yes, of course you may come in." Raspystar replied to Moosefur. "What is it you would like to discuss?" He asked, seeing the concern in her face.
"Ok fine. But, would you want to......sleep with me.... for the night?" Honeysuckle said to Silverstream. She was shaking with nervousness and embarrassment, hoping that Mothfur did not hear her.
"Oh my, thank you." Quailheart said to Coalpaw, coughing after. "That is very sweet of you. Would you like to eat with me in the elders den? We can tell you great stories!" She said to the apprentice, a small but genuine smile on her face.

"Yes, of course. Just one second." Coalpaw nodded, then walked out of the den to the prey pile. After choosing a small rabbit, he went back into the den and settled down across from Quailheart. It reminded him of when he was a kit, spending many a day in the elder's den.

"Well this is just lovely." Quialheart said, sniffing the mouse. "What kind of story would you like to hear Coalpaw?" The elder asked, her head slightly tilted. Losthowl was in Mothfur's den, Rattletooth was outside near the pond, and Vulturepath was asleep in the elder's den.
