In an announcement from Mars Japan Limited, due to glass shards being found in a chocolate confection called Snickers, approximately 3.01 million products have been recalled voluntarily.
回収の対象となるのは、「スニッカーズピーナッツシングル」「スニッカーズファンサイズ180g」「スニッカーズミニ」の3商品のうち、賞味期限が2023年1月8日と2月5日のもの。「スニッカーズホワイト」の賞味期限が2023年1月8日のもの、合わせておよそ301万個です。
3 of the products subject to recall, “Snickers Peanuts Single”, “Snickers Fun Size 180g”, and “Snickers Mini”, have pieces that expire January 8, 2023 and pieces that expire February 5, 2023. The expiration date for the recalled “Snickers White” pieces is January 8, 2023. In total, about 3.01 million products are affected.
会社によりますと、中国の工場で製造している商品について、客から「商品を食べて歯が少し欠けた」などといった連絡が寄せられたということです。
According to the company, they received complaints from a customer regarding a Snickers produced in a Chinese factory, including “I chipped my tooth while eating this product.”
調べたところ、長さ7ミリ程度のガラス片が商品に混入していたということで、同じ製造ラインから出荷された商品について、自主回収することを決めました。
After finding that a 7mm-sized shard of glass was mixed in with the product, the company decided to voluntarily recall all products that were shipped out from the same production line.
専用サイトで回収を受け付けるということで、会社では「多大なるご迷惑をおかけし、深くおわび申し上げます」とコメントしています。
On a site dedicated to accepting recalled products, the company commented, “We are very sorry for the inconvenience.”

2021年度に、新型コロナウイルスが働く人にうつって労災だと認められたのは、1万9000件ぐらいでした。前の年度の4倍ぐらいに増えました。
In the fiscal year of 2021, among working adults who became infected with COVID-19, about 19,000 of those cases were work-related. This is an increase of about 4 times as many work-related cases from the previous fiscal year.
労災だと認められると、病院で無料で治療してもらうことができます。仕事を休んだ時には、1日の給料の80%をもらうことができます。亡くなった場合は、家族が年金などをもらうことができます。厚生労働省は、誰からうつったかはっきりわからなくても、仕事と関係があることがわかったら、労災だと認めています。
When a case is recognized as being work-related, you can receive treatment at the hospital for free. You may also receive compensation for the days you take off work, up to 80% of your daily salary. In cases where the individual passes away, the family may receive a pension. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, a case will be counted as work-related as long as you know it was related to work, even if you do not know the precise individual you received it from.
