I wonder how she will finally die 🤔
Really the most interesting parts of Drizzt for me are the ones in Menzoberranzan/the Underdark, reading about drow society and politics and stuff. Despite the high volume of fight scenes, I still have enjoyed Legacy more than the previous trilogy

I'm sorry to inform you that after this arc, Drizzt doesn't really ever go back to the Underdark. There's a lot of time that elapses between then and other major drow characters that show up

There is that one series called War of the Spider Queen that takes place predominantly in the Underdark but there are a few characters from Drizzt that you haven't encountered yet that show up in it (one of them being a major character) so don't read it until like. After you've finished this current arc at least

Well I got a copy of Starless Night so I'll be starting that tomorrow Book 8... Normally 8 books in a series sounds like a lot to me but with Dirzzt I'm like. Wow still at the beginning I see

How is an elf trance different from sleep? They're still aware of their surroundings?

Lol... elves could sleep or enter reverie on any comfortable flat surface but specifically avoided human beds

No i do understand I wouldn't sleep on like a dog or cat bed
I thought the trance was like an innate thing elves can do but the article made it sound like some elves can't do it
