So, when I came back to this forum yesterday, I saw that one of my favorite categories had last been updated over a year ago. Personally, I see it as almost a crime.
My question right now is simple: Are there enough people for me to reasonably start or try a new RP? If so, what kinds of topics would be the most reasonable/interesting to RP as?
If there are, and I do put emphasis on ‘if’, then I’ll either discuss it here or make a new thread. If not… I’ll check in a few months from now.

It's been a while since I've roleplayed, but I think off topic is the best bet. Not super into Warriors ATM. I think I'd be interested in roleplaying again

Three people is theoretically enough to make an RP, so I’ll start coming up with something.
Do either of you have ideas of what would be interesting?
My main questions if there are no ideas are these:
Would you rather?
1. Realistic or fictional?
2. Fantastical, technological, normal, or other?
a) High fantasy/tech or low fantasy tech?*
3. Human, humanoid/human-adjacent, or creature?
*Refers to setting. High fantasy/tech requires more world building because of the fact that it takes place in an alternate world. Low fantasy/tech is set more in the actual world we live in.
Sorry that this sounds like an interrogation lol I just need to see what we’re in the mood for

I like the supernatural/mythical ones myself. Don't know exactly which category that falls under, perhaps fantastical?

Yup, that would be fantastical. I’ve got a few ideas, but I’ll probably end up going with some specific ones(low fantasy, human/humanoid) for ease of access.
Honestly, it would probably be best anyway so more people can get interested. I’ll come back when I have the prompts written out

Low fantasy is definitely a little limiting, but it’s also accessible to a variety of people
Three main options:
Typical high school, but with some more… magical faculty and students
Workplace with supernatural shenanigans
Other(I'd need help with this bit)

I was thinking a sort of agency that works for the UN dealing with the documentation and such of supernatural/magical folk. It could range from police force to taking a survey about how safe you feel with supernatural folk.

I hope that one day the forum will either come alive, or go down peacefully. However, I think that we'd need a rebranding or something for that to work. Maybe the Cattails forum would be a good choice to migrate to if it came down to it.
