Imagine... what if all your clanmates acted like REAL characters from the books? Wandered outside of camp, formed patrols, hunted ( and I don't mean magical appearing prey in their nests), trained apprentices that they were assigned, and even slept at certain hours? What if? What if the medicine cat actually healed, and their herb stock that you put in there will slowly lose stock each time they have to use an herb? What if the leader could assign a special deputy and when you die as leader, they take over and if you make a new cat you can see them lead and join their clan, or play as him/her afterwards? What if each clan, even the non-rogue clan, acted like a clan, with real cat behavior? What if you could actually move the cats' nests instead of having apprentices in the nursery, and warriors in the apprentice's den? What if cats actually aged and moved their nests accordingly to the nest roles that were assigned? (A new elder moving his default point to the elders den that you assign, etc.) What if?
Now, I understand this would take a lot of extra time and energy and programming. But imagine instead of having to imagine your cats doing this stuff, they actually do it? Not only would the prey be flowing like CRAZY from the extra hunting, but your roleplay immersion would be off the charts. Woohoo!
(also add Twolegplace and more BloodClan, and medicine cat gatherings, and nine lives for clan leaders)

some of the concepts seem like a BIT much for someone to add to the game but the overall idea was really good. would make clan life actually interesting, especially the herb stock thing because i find it hilarious that the medicine cat both never runs out of herbs and screams at you infinitely to collect some horsetail tho i will admit at first i thought the title meant giving the NPCs good AI.

Hah, yep. Obviously it would be a lot to add all of this, I just mean giving you a general idea of what I mean by "intelligent NPCs" OMG YES! "COLLECT SOME HORSETAIL AND GOLDENROD AND COMFREY OR I SWEAR BY STARCLAN THIS WILL BE YOUR LAST SUNHIGH YOU MOUSE-BRAINED FOXHEART" "Okay, okay, I literally just wanted to talk to you, do you only give que--" "GIVE ME THE HERBS NAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOO" *Swipes at face* ";w; okay okay i'll get them" Well, that too. Overall NPC improvement, cause it definitely needs some work.
