This is a roleplay that ♪♫•*Crescent-o♪♫•* and I worked on together.
"Hi there! I'm Mousestar, and I am the leader of MeadowClan. Oh. I see. You want to join. Well, I will tell you a little about my Clan. We are noble and strong, following the warrior code. Cats of MeadowClan are merciful. And, no, I'm not saying we're all the same. Each cat is different with different likes and dislikes, as well as flaws and merits. Our main skills, you ask? Well, mainly, we are swift runners, fleet-footed, easily the fastest cats in the area. Now you are asking about those animals? Great StarClan, you have a lot of questions. You saw those big furry ones, right? Those are buffalo. As long as you don’t anger them, you're safe. There's also deer, falcons, and foxes. The animals that live in groups like we do are called prairie dogs. Do you have any more questions? No? Okay, but I have one more thing to tell you. MeadowClan cats are tough, able to endure the fierce conditions of our territory. We also expect you to be able to protect your Clan with your life. You think you're ready? Then, okay. Now, I usually don't accept strangers, but you're an exception. Welcome to MeadowClan."
Special Landmarks/Locations:
Moonlight Cave- the Moonlight Cave is a hidden cave that has a small crease at the top, where moonlight streams in. Inside the cave, there is a small stream where pebbles lie. This is where medicine cats and leaders come to share tongues with StarClan. In order to do this, they must drink the water from the stream. The Moonlight Cave gets its name from where the moonlight pours in from the small opening of the cave, as it seems to make the pebbles glow. It's really quite a beautiful site to see.
Rainbow Clearing- the Rainbow Clearing is a large open field with thousands of flowers and herbs. It is so abundant in herbs that this is where medicine cats come to collect their herbs. Not only is this location good for herbs, but it is also a great place for hunting. In Greenleaf, rabbits are often found, as well as mice and thrushes. It is also a perfect place to relax in the sun. The Rainbow Clearing is known for the constant large inventory of herbs, and because of the many flowers of all colors that grow there.
Ripple Stream- the Ripple Stream is a calm river with few waves. It has sand underneath, making a soft padding. Quite shallow, Ripple Stream is fairly warm in all seasons other than leaf-bare. The sun reaches it quite easily. It is located by tall grass and reeds, and it is MeadowClan’s main water source.
Prey:
Birds (Various types)
Chipmunks
Mice
Rabbits
Rats (Last resort)
Squirrels
Voles
Predators:
Badgers (Common)
Bears (Unlikely)
Coyotes (Less common)
Foxes (Common)
Large birds (Common)
Lions (Unlikely)
Snakes (Common)
Wild dogs (Rare)
Camp
The camp is found in a large dip in the ground. The dip is deep enough that it is well-sheltered and hard to attack. The entrance is guarded by thorn bushes and thistles to make it even harder for predators to sneak in. Since these cats are used to being out in the open, they don’t necessarily have dens. However, when rainy and cold weather arrives, they sleep in hollow boulders. While the cats mostly sleep outside, young kits sleep inside the boulder that makes out the nursery, since when they are younger, they are more vulnerable to illness, and they are more likely to get chilly than older cats. The elders will also move inside if they feel chilled because they need protection from the air. Towards the center of the camp lies a large boulder that is recognized as the Meeting Boulder. This is where the Clan ceremonies, announcements, and any meetings are held.
Rules:
1. Falconstar’s rules, as always
2. Please try to be active. If you are inactive for more than a month and haven’t notified me or Crescent, then your characters will be removed. If you have an important rank, then you will be removed after two and a half weeks.
3. No unrealistic appearances or character names. Lyrical names are fine, but nothing too extreme.
4. A single cat may catch no more than five pieces of prey per hunting trip. No cat can catch every piece of prey he or she spies. In addition with this rule, no cat is invincible, so coming out from a battle without a scratch is unacceptable.
5. No one-liners. Please try to write at least three sentences per post per character.
6. No major plot changes without permission first.
7. If you read the rules, put Temperate Grassland in bold in the password section of your form. If you need the code for bold then it’s
8. Remove the password section from your form after being accepted so nobody will look off of someone else’s form in order to skip the rules.
9. Please keep in mind the number of warriors available for mentoring before creating an apprentice. I don’t like it when there are more apprentices than there are warriors who can mentor them.
