In WC:UT for your name u can use "star". You are not the leader! Why is this possible?

Because there's no sensor on the suffix or prefix part of the game. You could name yourself Lightninglightning for all it cares. Plus it's unlikely that Falcon would've implemented a way that you couldn't use -star as a prefix, as some people use the game for roleplay purposes, and they'd like to play as a "leader" or "star".

The only thing you can't name yourself is Falconstar. That is the only censor. -star is used for when you play as a rogue and want to be the leader of your own clan.

But I tried for a shadowclan name and I chose lightningstar. I think Falconstar should sensor star unless you are playing as a rouge

You can't because there is already a leader in the clans which you use for bonus coins and saving. The only way you can become a "leader" is to become a rogue. It would be confusing otherwise.

If you name yourself -paw or -kit you still remain a warrior, or a grown up cat who never started their training therefore forever remained a kit.
