「 I'll be your prom king early, Mr. Clean
Charmin' your momma at your front door 」
Hey guys!
Thought I'd post this in a different title since the thread itself is getting old, and I really wanted to remake this.
Prologue
Splashy looked at the dark night sky. Moons-no, wait, seasons-had passed since the day Shade was left behind and locked inside the mansion, and then assumed to be killed. Tears swelled up in her blue eyes, and then she looked away. “Oh, Shadee.. If only you got out of the mansion in time...” She said, and stared down at the ground, sobbing. She then went to a flashback she’s been having for moons;
“I’m coming, guys!” Those were the last words she received from her love. “Shadee, get out of there quickly!” Splashy shouted, looking at him, before slipping away so he can open the dog door on his own. Surprisingly, it locked itself. “Foxdung! It’s locked!” The black cat spoke, before turning around to see himself against the grey, eyeless cat that was following them. “Shadee, don’t you worry, I’ll go--” Just as she was about to say those words, the blue, black, and white she-cat heard the growls, though she couldn’t tell who was who, which meant the grey cat was battling with Shade. Staring at the door, she heard nothing but growls, battle screeches, and more, until it came to an awkward silence.
Clover waved her paw in front of Splashy. “Um, Splash, shouldn’t we be going now?” She said, the words hitting Splashy. “Oh, um, right..” She laughed, awkwardly scratching her head, but inside, she was panicking. Shadee, no.. She was literally panicking inside. You.. you.. you sacrificed yourself to save us... I couldn’t believe it.
After they got back home, Splashy went over to her nest that she had shared with Shade and cried herself to sleep.
