This challenge requires:
- 1 rouge clan (of any name, symbol, etc.)
- at least 2 spaces of regular territory
- at least 1 space of disputed territory
- A random number generator. One can be found here.
Challenge rules:
◦You have to start out as a kit.
◦Every 2 days is 1 moon unless stated otherwise during a challenge event.
◦Follow the warrior code.
◦You must keep a diary.
◦You may start out with a warrior name, but only to prevent the annoyance of finding Coco/making a new cat.
◦You cannot be leader unless it is rewarded to you via event.
◦Karma points (in the challenge) can only be gained or lost through events.
◦You start with 5 karma.
You can do this in a normal clan, but you will have to count both karma and reputation (separately) in parts of the challenge where it is needed to be totaled.
Now that has been set, onto the challenge!
In this challenge, you will be living the life of a warrior. Using a random number generator, you will see what events you get.
You may use the thunder path as a way to get rid of items.
First you must choose a mother and father. Give each cat a number and roll the random generator to learn who your parents in this challenge are.
(Mini-Challenge: Tiger and Bramble, your father or mother was an exiled, evil cat. You must prove yourself to your clanmates. If you don't want to, void.)
Kit
Every Warrior starts out as a kit! I haven't heard of any that were never kits in their lives at least once!
Events:
- You and your littermates play with some prey and accidentally spoil it. Throw away one piece of prey, and your mother will not let you leave the den without her near you.
- One of the apprentices teaches you some battle moves. The leader notices how strong you are getting. Take 1 moon away from your wait to become a warrior.
- You sneak out of camp with your littermates. You are caught and can only leave the den to get prey.
- You become ill and cannot leave the medicine den until the next moon (2 in-game days).
- take 3 moons away from your wait to become an apprentice.
- You gain some sort of scar or disability from an accident. Your apprentice name will be named after that accident. (If accepted unlocks mini-challenge: The True warrior. Otherwise, void.)
Apprentice
Wow! An apprentice already?
Pick a mentor based on the same way you picked your parents.
- You go off on your own hunting, but come across a rival patrol, that badly wounds you. You cannot leave the medicine den for an in-game day.
- The clan is starving. You give your share to the kits and elders. You cannot eat for a day. +5 karma
- You teach the kits some hunting/fighting moves. +1 karma
- Your mentor brings you on a battle in disputed territory. If you win, +10 karma, if you lose, -5 karma.
- Your medicine cat wants you to help fetch herbs for a severely wounded kit, but your mentor wants you to do battle practice. -5 for battle practice, +5 for helping the medicine cat.
- You see the medicine cat healing a wounded warrior. (You can either choose to become a medicine cat, or continue on your path as a warrior. If you accept, you can gain the mini-challenge Art of healing and omens if you say no, you continue as a warrior.)
- Your warrior ceremony will be 2 moons earlier.
Medicine Cat
- A warrior is severely hurt and needs goldenrod. Gather 6 goldenrod before the next day, or the warrior will die. If the warrior lives, you get +10 karma, if they die, you get -10 karma.
- Moonstone meeting: You meet with the other medicine cats. They give you each an herb. Gather 4 herbs, with no penalty.
- Your clan was attacked! You need to gather 2 herbs before the next in-game hour. If you succeed you get 5 karma. If you fail, you lose 3 karma.
- Gain the herblore skill. If you already have it, upgrade it.
- You gain an apprentice, if you don't have one. Otherwise, they become a medicine cat.
Warrior
Great job so far... Maybe you'll become deputy!
- The leader has had it with the other clans. Go to a disputed territory with a patrol. If you win, +10 karma, if you lose, -10 karma.
- The other clans are attacking! Take a patrol and fight at a battleground.
- Gain a skill or upgrade a skill. The only skills you cannot gain is herblore and hold your ground.
- Gain or upgrade the skill Feral Slash.
- Gain or upgrade the skill Charge.
- You gain an apprentice. For 6 moons, this apprentice must follow you and you must train them. (If they are trained successfully you gain 20 karma and can gain the mini-challenge On the way to leader. If they die, you lose 5 karma)
- Gain a mate, if you don't have one, or a kit, if you do.
Deputy
see mini-quest On the Way to Leader. You still use the warrior events.
Leader
now you can live nine lifetimes! This next list is just a set of rules for leading the clan, but you still use the warrior events.
- If you win a battle, you gain 10 karma and clan reputation. If you lose, you lose 10 karma and 10 clan reputation.
- You start out with 20 clan reputation.
- You may either make a new cat when you want to "die" or re-create your cat 9 times until you die.

Death
When you die, here is how to judge where you go and what you do when you get there.
Dark Forest
You go here if you have less than 15 karma when you die. Dark forest territory is Snakerocks and the tile under it.
Starclan
You go here if you have at least 15 karma when you die. Starclan territory is the top left corner of the map and the tile next to it.
You may watch over your clanmates and use your powers to help them.
If you do not want to do this, you may either finish the challenge, or create a new character.
Mini-Challenges
welcome to the realm of mini-challenges. Here is where you can find all of the mini, or side challenges this challenge offers.
Bramble and Tiger
Oh no! One of you parents was evil(ish)!
You must prove yourself. Every time you lose karma, you lose one more karma than the said amount. Every time you gain karma, you gain one less than the said amount. You have to get 50 karma before you die, or you will go to the dark forest when you die!
The True Warrior
You must prove your disability will not hold you back!
You must mentor an apprentice successfully and get 30 karma. Afterward, you have proved yourself and you may unlock the On the Way to leader mini-quest, if you are not a medicine cat.
Art of healing and Omens
- You dream of battle. Collect 15 herbs to stop it, before the next day comes
- You see an omen of destruction. The clan must fight another clan. Chase off a clanmate, for they have died.
- Greencough has spread around the camp. Roll from 0-3 to see how many cats are affected. You must gather that number of herbs to treat them.
On The Way to becoming leader
You are now deputy of your clan, Congratulations! In any battle events, the leader will now come. If they die, you become leader.
You can now own the Hold your ground skill.
