Hey friends!
This is the official thread for talking about Christianity and the faith which I have been planning on making for a long time. I've decided today is the day to make it!
Here's how this thread is going to work:
This was made especially for talking about the faith, sharing our experiences, and for encouraging and uplifting others and spreading love and wisdom.
Here, you can share a quote that inspired or really hit you in some way. You can share a passage from the bible and explain what it really meant for your life. You can link a Christian song you really enjoyed and feel the desire to share it with others!
We will also welcome questions here. If you have a question that's just been bugging or nagging at you, we'll do our best to answer. Remember, there will be no arguments or debates! You may have a very civil discussion about a certain thing, and/or expand on the question that was asked, but no quarrels will be made.
Next, there will be no negative comments. If you have something against what we're talking about here, take it somewhere else. We want the environment to be friendly and welcoming.
To all, if anyone does end up posting something negative/that bothers you, whether on purpose or not, I encourage you to either ignore it or show this person much friendliness and love. There will be no flames. There's also no need to get defensive; You know the truth, and if you feel moved to explain it to them, go ahead, but please know that you don't have to defend yourself against this person.
Please stay on topic on this thread as it's meant solely for what I've explained above. This is a thread for talking about the faith!
(And hey, you can talk about your day here too. We want to be a community on this thread.)
Again, if you do have any questions, PLEASE ask, but be very civil when asking them! Same to answering the questions.
Here is the first uplifting and encouraging thought of the day:
"The phrase 'do not be afraid' is written in the bible 365 times. That's a daily reminder from God to live every day fearless."
