As for the pelt designs, I think for kittypet pelts should be like ranging from "normal" to exquisite cat breeds. It should be dependent on perhaps the twolegs you "get" them from. But twolegplace is a whole different matter and I suggest that feature but it could take awhile. I feel I should add more, but I can't remember anything I should add, so I'll come back to this thread later.

Twolegplace(s), since it is a part of two of the three "main" maps that'll be included, will definitely be a feature no matter what. I like your suggestion though, but I don't think I'd go for much of a seperation unless a kittypet wanted to spawn in Horseplace, or say.. village-esque settlements?
Places that'd only allow "normal" breeds / less exquisite cats - Cheford / The Twolegplace [ where bloodclan was ], Hadlow / Little Twolegplace, and Horseplace(s).
Places that'd allow more exquisite breeds / cats - Lower Hengest / Big Twolegplace, Whitchurch / a Twolegplace west of the lake, and Greenleaf Twolegplace but only during Greenleaf can cats spawn there.
On cats breeds as a whole, i don't think non-kittypets should be able to select from a breed selection, but they will have elements/markings/patterns from "normal" breeds available - just not presets that include fur colour, marking colour, and fur lenght relevant to a breed.
But please do come back with more suggestions and thoughts! I really do appreciate the input!

I feel as though some of the sprites I had slated for reveal today aren't brushed up enough yet, so I'm delaying a few. But later today, I will reveal some sitting sprites, eye colours in portraits [ which will be applied on sprites tomorrow ], and ideally a unfinished/makeshift forum!
It's mainly due to the fact I'm getting ready to move, my Birthday is Saturday, and I just changed job shifts [ overnight work ]. Because of this, I'm considering opening doors to people who feel they are skilled in terms of making sprites and cat artwork - if you feel you are // I do not contact you [ probably won't anyone today ], please message me with examples and what you can do in general!

Here's some of those eye colours I mentioned! I'm working on selecting more, and if you feel ones do not fit/should not be included let me know! Brighter/More striking looking eyes are mostly going to be kittypet exclusive, and some may be restricted to kittypets spawned/spawning in bigger Twolegplaces or restricted to certain purebreds.

And here's some sitting sprites. I'm really only content with the forward-facing sprite, and feel as though I've rushed the other two side - The heads really bug me. And the back does a bit as well, but this is to scale/the sizes cats will be in-game. Prey animals smaller, predators larger, accurate to the scale of a cat [ 9.1 ~ 9.8 in. ]. I might consider sizing options for cat customization, but nothing exceeding odd unless it is for a certain breed or deformity - in which case unique sprites will be made.
These and portraits will be modified for various fur lengths and types though, so don't worry!
I may also go back to the forward facing sitting sprite and add a bit more shadow detail.

Still doing work on sprites, and since the 25, the forum - which I feel will be ready for release within 1-2 days, so if you're looking to join for progress reports, applying for staff positions, or news of when Alpha turns out -- Keep your eyes opened for a link I'll post when the forum is finally done!
