Nathan felt a shiver go down his spine a little with him hating the feeling of being watched but the real question was to who or what was watching them like a cat and a mouse, he got the feeling that they themselves were the mice in this case but the camper knew that they all had to stay strong in order to win this battle of the mind or any battle that came there way with either illusionary monsters from their worst fears to real-live monsters that craved to kill them.
---
"Yeah!" Satoru said with a happy smile but insects of bacon he loaded his plate with a couple of cupcakes, some cookies but with three apples since even he knew that eating too many sweets were bad for you and apples kept the doctor away so to speak which reminded of that he might give Nick an apple to see if that actually worked, he threw one of The apples into the fire as an offering mainly to Hermes since his godly mother didn't deserve it until she pained for her crimes against the camp. "Me too... I really wished I could do something to help them at lea-" he began to say before he dodged a flying can that bounced off a beam and to the Hermes table where the counselor sheepishly grinned when the young boy sent him an annoyed glare.
----
Prue walked into the infirmary rather quietly but that was only in her nature really as her uncle had joked often that she would make a great ninja before being corrected by both her aunt and cousin about it which then would lead to an hour about the subject before forgetting about it, "Hey Nick, I'm surprised you haven't tried to leave."
(Sorry if short with Prue, gtg)
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”
Alex stepped further inside. Suddenly, he stopped again, hand going to his sword. He barely managed to dodge when claws suddenly swiped out to tear him apart. Falling onto his behind, he quickly scrambled up, drawing his sword. What was staring back at him was the chimera. "Nate..." he started, trying to sound calm. "I think we've gotta fight this thing now." But how? Wasn't it basically Alex against it? Could Nathan use charmspeak on it? His head was running through thousands of plans, but he couldn't decide on one.
--
Lucia laughed loudly when she saw the flying can, glancing Henry's way. "What was that supposed to do?" she asked with a grin. "Why a random can? Aren't there better things?" The Zeus counselor carried her plate over to her table, then came back over to them. She smiled at Satoru, awaiting Henry's answer.
-
Nick easily woke up when Prue walked in. Of course she had been quiet, but Nick's sleep was equally light - especially with things that were out of place. Like somebody entering here was. He looked up from the bed, carefully sitting up. "Serena would've killed me. Not to mention, I was actually sleeping. Can't quite leave in my sleep yet," he joked with a slight smile. "So, what's up, Prue?"

JiHyun sat down to eat, looking at the pile of food she had. Tucking her hair behind her ear, she began to shove food into her mouth. Scraping even the slightest crumbs off of her plate into her mouth, she looked like a glut. (I really don't know what to write, so I tried something more general)
"Looks we got no choice either." Nathan said once he caught sight of the chimera with him going for his sword- that he of course lost somewhere so that went to plan b, charmspeak enough for them to get past or the monster to leave but he wasn't sure how strong or well that would work and finally just use anything he could grab like a sharp rock as a possible weapon. Mother... please help me... the camper thought to himself deeply in hopes of getting some help to sweet talk his way out of this with everyone unharmed but like in all fights someone would get hurt and he greatly liked the chances of The monster being the one.
---
"It was suppose to bounce off, also we got all these empty cans from Chevy who came here earlier." Henry explained awhile holding a slingshot in one hand and another can in the other as he did his usual grin like all the Hermes campers got from dear dad the master thief and despite everything going on he seemed pretty normal though he also looked tired with small bags just under his eyes, it wasn't easy to be the eldest Hermes camper and the cabin's counselor especially when he wanted to join in on the fun pranks but a voice (his mother's) said that he needed to be more responsible during these type of situations so not disobeying her he did so. "Seeing who can bounce off the cans farther... so far we're even."
Satoru sat down at the table with Henri as he happily bit into the muffin that made up much for the most part as he frowned a little, "Does drinking that many sodas even healthily?" He pretty much emphasized on 'many' by just seeing the number of cans that he could guess was fifty or more and he then wondered if that's how the Dionysus camper got all her energy from.
---
Prue smiled a little at the thought of a small army of Apollo campers keeping watch on him, "Sorry if I woke you." She said with her not knowing and the only thing that would change was her not having come in here at all however she still would have walked in here anyway, "Lucia and I just got back.... and I wanted to check up on you." Then added with her worried about her brother as she worried that the next thing that could happen was that he would disappear on her watch again like with Oliver and she prayed that their youngest brother was safe.
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”
Instead of running at him - Like she would’ve done on most occasions (What? She didn’t exactly ever have a battle plan other than run and kill the enemy and hopefully that works out) - she waited for him to come at her, bracing herself she adjusted her stance so that when he swung at her it met her blade. Making a loud metallic clang echo throughout the temple.
“Anyways, Apollo. Sanaa’s not the only one looking to win.” Naomi said through gritted teeth concentrating on not letting him Over power her. As well as looking for weak points that she could unbalance him, his side were sanaa had struck would be the best area to hit but she couldn’t attack it without opening herself up to an attack.
But...it would be worth it if it give Sanaa her chance and it’d take him by surprise.
“Hey uh, Sanaa. Mind if I do something Stupid and risky but probably worthwhile??” Naomi called out not taking her eyes off of Apollo.
(Olive, She can join Henri and the others at the pavilion)

Sorry for the late reply, I was at a birthday party.
You're accepted!))
Ian made some ineligible noise that sounded something like 'I'll try' from where he laid sprawled out across the wet grass. He pushed himself up carefully this time, making sure to not slip again. Ian then swayed over to Val's bag after taking a moment to spot where it had landed. He rummaged around in it, soon pulling out something wrapped up. He unwrapped it, raising an eyebrow, "Uuuh, I found some... crackers or cookies or whatever? Is that what you were searching for?" He tried to hold them into Val's line of vision. They seemed small, though, so he couldn't help but wonder whether or not they could even help.
Valentine grunted, rolling over to look at said cookies. "Yeah, that'll do. Hand me one, then eat one yourself." Truthfully she would rather rejuvenate herself using water, but there was no clear source nearby. They would just have to use ambrosia instead. Val had no idea how much longer this quest was going to be, and they would probably need them, but it was a relatively drastic situation. "How are you holding up?" She asked, looking over at him; she was still lying on the ground.

Alex drew his sword, taking a deep breath. When the chimera came closer with a growl, he raised his sword protectively to block or dodge any incoming attacks. He quickly glanced back to Nathan and the others, motioning for them to watch out. It would be impossible to protect them while fighting, unless Alex planed to get sliced apart. I can do this, Alex tried telling himself.
The second the chimera lashed out, he ducked away, then swung at it, hitting its outstretched paw. It howled and Alex made sure to keep on his feet. He surely couldn't outrun it if it decided to chase him down, but he was hoping that it would focus on him like this at least. Alex could already feel the adrenaline pumping through his body and willed it to stay until he was done with the fight.
Lucia shook her head with a smile, then big them goodbye, walking off. She passed JiHyun and stopped once more, smiling. "Hey," she greeted. "How are you holding up? Hopefully all of this will be over soon." It wasn't that Lucia was making her round around the pavilion to talk to everybody, but she felt like talking to people could help them and herself, too. They were all on edge; talking to each other could really help all of them keep their sanity. Hopefully, at least. The jury was still out with the Dionysus campers.
Nick shook his head, sitting up slightly, though he did so carefully to not cause any more problems. "It's fine. I got some rest, so it doesn't matter." He paused, then tilled his head. "How'd it go?" he added after a moment, trusting Prue to know that he was talking about her 'meeting' with Lucia. "I'm sorry that I wasn't the one to tell, but I was... occupied." More like getting dragged to the infirmary and then having to go to the Nike cabin, but it counted.
Ian unwrapped the weird crackers/cookies, then carefully handed Val one before staring at the remaining rest with a raised eyebrow. "Why do I have to eat one? What do they do?" he asked, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. He didn't expect Val to poison him, but he wasn't quite sure how much those little things could do. Were they some kind of "pick-me-up" for demigods when they weren't feeling well?
He glanced back to Sanaa and Naomi for a moment, then focused on Val again.
Noel crossed his arms, listening to Chevy ask Pippa about her weapon. He rolled his eyes a little. "It'd be kind of stupid to fight without one..." he muttered out after his sister had finished. What was she going to do? Try to steal theirs? Highly unlikely. Not to mention, the possibility of harming her accidentally grew drastically like that. Noel believed that he would be able to not injure her, though accidents happened - especially when it came to his sister.
Sanaa was trying to shoot Apollo, though he seemed to use Naomi as a shield whenever possible. Sanaa changed direction, and then he would do that, too. She huffed a little, then glanced at Naomi when she spoke. "I hate how this sounds," she muttered. "But fine. I think we're mainly out of options here." While she could imagine them winning if they kept this up, Sanaa could feel herself getting tired. She felt cold and her head hurt a little.

Valentine sat up, taking the ambrosia from him. She ate the whole thing, taking a moment before smiling. Energy rushed through her, the familiar taste of coffee cake filling her senses. It was her favorite food, and the only thing she could think of while taking ambrosia. Crossing her legs, she rolled her shoulders and looked over at Ian. "It's Ambrosia, the food of the gods. It tastes like your favorite food, and it fills you with energy. You just can't eat too much, or you'll turn into ash. It's not really meant for mortals, but we're half-bloods." Val gestured to the bag. "Go on. I swear it's not poison. I mean, look at me. A second ago I was half-dead instead of half-blood." She chuckled at her own joke, looking at him with shining eyes.
Pippa shrugged. "I'll be okay, probably." She said to Noel, giving him a smile. "Let's just start." She stepped back, bracing herself and positioning her feet. She wasn't entirely sure she'd be able to dodge their attacks, but she could try. After all, she kind of had a plan.
“Well, okay but you can’t get mad at me later!” Naomi responded. Paying no attention to what Apollo thought she was about to do and instead just focused on it. In one swift motion she moved her sword from blocking Apollo’s to jabbing at his side, it wasn’t her most graceful attack but it worked. The wound that had been healing quickly was reopened by her sudden attack.
On the downside she was not able to avoid all attacks, taken by surprise the sword instead of striking in a more deadly place(Like her neck or chest, like he seemed to have been aiming for) it struck her left shoulder.
Alethea sighed, tossing a chocolate and peanut butter brownie into the fire, hoping that victory would be in the camps favour. Sitting down at her siblings table, and pulling out her notebook again to start writing some notes for strategies(Although only a couple applied to the situation, it was never bad to have more idea)
Post by Cloverheart ✿ on Apr 27, 2017 12:04:26 GMT -5
Lisianthus sighed, forming some of her leftover lasagna onto the fire. Although she was alone at her cabin, she still worried for the other campers. She had completely confidence in herself, but not so much for anyone else. Glancing over, she saw Alethea sitting alone. The short Demeter camper walked over, taking a seat next to her. "You worried about tomorrow?" Lis asked, staring at the fire.
Ian stared at the ambrosia for a few seconds longer. Finally, he shrugged, eating it. "I trust ya," he said, still with the ambrosia in his mouth. While chewing, Ian slowly felt it taste like some food his father had used to make. Ian couldn't even remember the name anymore, though. What surprised him more, though, was the fact that he felt a tear run down his cheek. He started for a second, then wiped it away. The strength was already returning to his body when he stood up, feeling around his cheek with his fingers. "The cut's gone," he told Val, surprise clear in his voice.
-
Noel shrugged, muttering something like "suit yourself" before also taking his position, drawing his sword. He glanced Chevy's way, beckoning for his sister to join them. He wouldn't hold back on Pippa just because she had no weapon. In a real fight, the other person also wouldn't do that. He scoffed a little when he thought of that, imagining a monster waiting for a demigod to retrieve their weapon. No... a real fight was rarely fair.
The second Apollo struck Naomi's shoulder, Sanaa's grip faltered for a moment. "Naomi!" she called out, but quickly got a hold of herself. She let go of the arrow, letting it zip towards her father and impale in his right shoulder. Apollo cursed in pain, backing up a little.
"You're not doing bad," he said, almost seeming to smile. "But you can't exactly defeat a god, can you?"
"No," Sanaa admitted, nocking another arrow. She huffed, realizing she only had four left. "We can still do our best, though. Right, Naomi?" She made a motion with her hand that meant as much as "go ahead. I have your back".

Valentine looked at the sky in front of her on the horizon, smiling. "Yeah. Ambrosia works pretty good like that. Though--" She glanced over at him to see a tear roll down his cheek. "Hey.. are you okay?" Val had heard that eating ambrosia can remind you of someone special to you, usually a parent that cooked something. But in Valentine's case.. no one close to her had cooked her anything that made her feel safe or comforted, so ambrosia just tasted like New York coffee cake.
Nathan watched in a little dismay as Alex fought with the chimera which despite the fact he could probably stand there and look pretty- he was going to do the exact opposite and unlike some of his half-siblings he had more of a 'warrior spirit' though he figured that it was because he always felt the need to prove himself from battle training to being a good person both inside and out, his green eyes narrowed a little in deep thought before deciding that whoever said the phrase: 'action speaks louder then words' that they got it wrong with this Aphrodite camper not willing to stand on the sidelines even if part of him told him too. "Oi, Chimera! Can't we just end this peacefully? You go one way and we go the other." he was using charmspeak that one little gift that some Aphodrite campers had to put the 'victim' in a trancelike state to do whatever they said however it worked to only a certain degree.
(Decided to do the charmspeak in red) -------------- "It went well..." Prue said with a minute or two before replying as if taking a moment to consider what had happened and also when she spoke a little 'fire' swept through her amber gaze for a brief moment as if saying that the goddess would pay for what had happened to her beloved friend, She still didn't want to cry her eyes out though she would more then wiling to do it in front of either brothers then anyone else and she sometimes wondered how far stubbornness or pride could go into keeping strong for the sake of everyone else, "I understand... from what I heard from Lucia I thought the infirmary would have bars up or something.." now she was trying to switch the subject around a little and lighten the mood up with ever hung going on they had to laugh a bit once in awhile.
----------
Henri had waved goodbye to the Zeus counselor before turning to Satoru, "Probably not... but feel free to tell her that." He said awhile reloading another can into the slingshot before firing it into the air once more but this time it went straight up into the air with a hundred of watermelon seeds suddenly hitting said-can to keep it from falling thanks to the Hermes campers or any camper that was bored and had a slingshot of some sort to shot with, he glanced over at Satoru who watched with some interest but the young boy seemed more interested in eating the chocolate like a honey badger which the counselor thought that it was from him eating sweets before nightfall as he did still did it now and then.
Satoru grumbled something under his breath but he had no plan on getting hugged by the energetic camper who he had seen try to tackle his cousin into a hug one time which was actually funny since the Hades counselor just remained upright like a tree withthe impression that she was giving Chevy piggyback ride and later on that same day you could see Prue walk awkwardly around the camp with the same Dionysus camper clinging onto her leg until someone intervened before the tall camper considered on summoning a skeleton, "Choclate brings joy." He said in a very serious tone but still sounded like a determined child which only earned him a grin from the Hermes counselor.
"Okay then~" Chevy giggled but she still seemed a little unsure with fighting someone who didn't have a weapon as she might even hold back a little however that quickly changed when she figured that Pippa plus her brother could dodge any attack she threw at them and getting into her battle position with her position and mallet facing both campers with the crazed emoji face being the side of the weapon that looked back at them, her violet eyes sparked with mischief before making her first move which was a simple quick swing of the large mallet at both of them to see their reactions and to see how fast they could move on their feet.

JiHyun looked up at the older girl, not understanding for a moment. "Wha-?" She finally understood the question, and gave a half-smile as her confusion dissipated. "Oh, I'm.. okay, I guess? People disappearing isn't really normal, is it?" She hadn't come here too long ago, and there was already a few problems that seem to have surfaced. She shrugged again, giving a clearer answer. "I'm pretty good. I'm a tough girl, ya know?" She grinned, the light not quite reaching her chocolate-brown eyes. (Citrine)
