Oliver took a few steps back at the sight of the dagger. "You all ARE insane." He'd be lying if he didn't feel a bit scared, any NORMAL person would be if they just had a weapon pulled on them.
"Easy you too." Marinette said, walking in between them but was forced to make a quick stop as a 'shink' sound of a knife could be heard.
A knife was a little bit of an understatement, while in technicality it was, it seemed like a dagger in size. Having a mother who grated you like a monster really meant having to take care of yourself, he was always ready and waiting for the day she snapped and went crazy on him, luckily that never happened but the knife was preparence for it. Who never imagined using it for anything else. "I'll take any sudden movement as a threat and act accordingly." He huffed, his steady hand answering Alex's question that he did know how to fight.
"Trust me, I know." Percy reluctantly let go and rubbed his eyes as he tried not to let any tears flow. "There's someone else living there and he's....something alright." Percy grimaced as he thought of Asher, the bane of his existence.
"That's good enough," Alex answered with a huff. He didn't want to actually scare him, but he seemed like he was a person only drastic measures would work on. As he stepped forward, he shot Marinette a look. "Stay out of this, Marinette," he said, an oddly commanding tone to his voice. Alex wasn't playing around right now, he felt like this fight would help.
Slowly, the blond Athena camper started stepping to the left to circle around Oliver. He needed a good opening for this, as he wasn't about to let the fight drag on at all.
-
Nick looked up with a raised brow as he let go of Percy and took a step back. "Somebody else from Califronia? I've not seen anybody take a taxi here from my plane as well," he said. "Has he already arrived?" If that was not the case, then he had probably taken a flight after Nick's. It really just depended on when people could get up. Some didn't have trouble getting up as early as he did to arrive at the check-in on time, while others did have that problem.
Marinette took steps back, this was definitely not how she planned this would go. "Alex, he's just a kid. Don't do anything crazy." She said with a worried look that darted between the two of them.
Oliver kept himself low and his body defended. If Alex was looking for an opening it would be difficult to find one. He wasn't any professional fighter, but he knew enough tricks to help him out in a pinch.
"He... Has not, thankfully. Nor much of a morning person so he would've taken a later flight." He paused for a moment, "If you're curious you should ask Sanaa. He's her half-brother after all, plus it'll be a good way to slide into conversation with her after you freak her out as well."
Alex suddenly darted forward. His speed was one of his main strength's during fights, not to mention the act of surprise it brought along the first time he made a surprise attack on an opponent. He slashed at Quinn, then quickly twisted to the side and hopped backwards to put distance between them. He hadn't even looked to see if he had hit Quinn, as that could have been the second where mistakes could be made.
His first attack was never hard to dodge, as it wasn't a hard strike, it usually just surprised his opponents and made them nervous. And that was the whole plan. Alex hadn't even bothered to reply to Marinette, too focused on the battle. Not to mention, as if he was every going to seriously hurt somebody during a fight like this.
-
"Sanaa, huh? I'm guessing she's still the counselor, isn't she? I can't believe anybody would ever be able to knock her down," Nick replied with a laugh, lazily grabbing his bag which he had previously put down. He slung it over his shoulder, then nodded to Percy. "Well, let's continue on so that I can give more people heart-attacks~" he joked. "After all, that's what I mainly should be doing as a child of Hades."
Prue had the horse slow down once they were closer to the camp's hill as she soon spotted Percy talking with another teen which sparked her curiosity since she hadn't seen him before but she had only been to camp for one year, her memory stirred to the time when they were both kidnapped later to be rescued by the three on the quest for the fleece but she shrugged it off to be on a happier note. "Hey Percy." She called over a as the mare did a slow trot over to the two of them.
Masanori had heard of his cousin's time in camp which made him eager to go but he also learned about quests that made him both curious yet fearful since it could mean life or death to those that not only go on the mission but those left behind as well, Who's she calling out too? he thought to himself awhile leaning to the right to see two guys who were much older then he.
Henry was currently looking around the camp for his girlfriend which he soon saw her with Felicity by her side, "Thea~!" He called awhile running over to her as he hoped his voice hadn't changed too much since it had become a bit deeper and he was starting to get some muscle in his arms which he was much proud of the later since he never did have much strength, but when it came to being the son of Hermes then speed was the middle name and thieving was the game.
Nathan was dropped off quickly as his sister was known to be either late to the point of almost missing her plane flight and she still needed to pack up all her things, I love you Daisy but sometimes ya can be forgetful... he thought to himself awhile watching the car sped off with a rather annoyed swan in the back which made him almost hurt out laughing as he had to trick the swan once more.

"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”
While Alex didn't really take offense to his words, he frowned. "This place is best with friends, you shouldn't push people away," he shot back stubbornly. He was a patient person, but something about the way Oliver had replied made him think that patience wouldn't help much here. He crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Whose child are you, anyway?" A common question inside the camp, really. Especially with new people.
His grin widened a bit. Nick stepped closer, holding up a peace-sign with his fingers. "Yo," he said. "Nick Evergreen, at your service." He had often used the phrase teasingly or mockingly when he had been younger, and it had just somehow stuck. A part of him wanted to hug his old friend, while another part of him was hesitant. They hadn't seen each other for three years, were they even still friends? People had different opinions on things like that, and he knew as much. Though, he was rather sure that Percy still considered him as a friend, but he ended up just standing a bit away from him, his amber eyes having the same kind spark in them as they usually had.
"I've been doing alright," Sanaa said with a smile. "I had my finals, though they weren't very hard in my eyes." It wasn't a secret that Sanaa had rather good grades in school, so she didn't feel like it'd surprise anybody. "And of course I've missed you," she added with a laugh. While Sanaa wasn't as obvious about it as Alex, it was stil clear that she had missed her girlfriend.
"That's good, I wish i could say the same about the finals at my school" Naomi glanced around camp, "I haven't talked to alex yet, How is he?" Naomi asked "Oh and can you help me unpack? It doesn't look like you're busy and we have a lot to catch up on, I really need to buy more postage" Naomi muttered seeing as Sanaa being a demigod made using electronics dangerous Naomi had sent letters instead but had quickly ran out of postage and with school going on and she still had yet to buy a car despite getting her drivers license it wasn't easy to go in town and buy postage and things to mail. (And correct me if i'm wrong but would Sanaa and Naomi be in College by now? or Still in Highschool I can't remember what age most people are when they graduate)
(Alethea & Tristan are open for interaction btw) (I have to redo her forum but can i reserve or something 1 spot for the big three She's a young 10 year old who just makes it to camp currently not claimed but she is the daughter of zues)
Oliver had ducked and kept his footing in place for Alex's strike, yet didn't swipe back. He wasn't confident enough to get close like that, so he would wait for the perfect moment to strike. He moved with quiet steps, and despite his heart pounding wildly in his chest, he seemed perfectly calm in the situation now; it was a facade of course but no one needed to know that. "What is your problem? Back off." He growled, keeping the blade trained on Alex's movements.
"Yeah." He agreed to Nicks comment on moving but turned his head as he heard Prue. "Hey Prue." He flashed her a smile, just last summer they were trapped together and not long after the summer ended. So it was nice seeing her out and about normally.
I'd say they just had their last year of high school. Though, that usually means that they leave the camp after the summer, because they're starting college. I do think it'd maybe be possible to bend the universe so that they'd somehow still have time over the summer, though pfft. At least for a bit.
And that's alright. I'll reserve you a spot in a little bit))
"Alex is fine, just very obviously missing Asher," she said, still looking a bit off-put by the thought of them dating. "I missed you, too, but what I think makes it so strong for Alex is just the fact that he has so little real friends outside of the camp. Honestly, I think it's not just Asher he misses, but the whole camp." Sanaa knew that her brother would do everything to keep the peace at the camp, because it was his home.
She nodded as she heard Naomi's request. "Yeah, that should be alright. I can help you unpack and we can catch up on what we've missed. I would've driven over to you, but my mom needed her car, so I couldn't do that."
"My problem is that I know you will be unhappy and cause problems if you keep acting like that," Alex replied, quickly changing the direction he was stepping in mid-step, then lunged towards Oliver. He would have found an opening this time, because while he was already skilled, he wasn't on the level of a trained demigod. But, instead of hitting him, Alex swiped slow and far enough away so that it wouldn't hit him, just give him a little scare.
He took a step backwards afterwards, lowering his dagger. "Look, I just wanted to show you that it is dangerous here if you don't know what you're doing. If you keep acting like that, a monster could very well kill you, even if you don't believe they're real.

Nick looked up at the other girl, smiling. "Hello there. Nick Evergreen, nice to meet you," he said, extending his right hand where the beads were around his wrist. He was left handed, but had finally managed to make the habit of extending his left hand disappear. Something about the feeling of death around the girl seemed familiar, it reminded him a bit of when he had once met his father.... Nick stopped at that, a thought passing his mind. Didn't all children of Hades have something like an aura of death that usually made animals dislike them?
Prue took the teen's hand to shake, "Prudence Willow, feel free to call me Prue." She said with a smile as she wasn't that much shy anymore from being here though she sensed something about Nick which reminded her of her father Hades' aura which was described as deathly.
Masanori's head was peeking out from behind his cousin's back to get a better look at them, "H-Hello.....I'm Masanori....Kyou-Jones..." He shyly greeted the two campers and giving a small nod like a bow as he tugged a little at the scarf he wore before hidding behind Prue again which was fairly easy for the young boy.

Naomi sighed she didn't like hearing alex was having a hard time he was a friend a good friend in fact, after all if not for him she might have never talked to Sanaa about her feelings. "Thanks!" Naomi grabbed one of the bags and handed sanaa the other. "That or we could look into one of the apartments near camp.." Naomi murmured sounding unsure of the idea.
Alethea turned around "Henry!" Alethea smiled, "Care to join me on morning jog?" Alethea asked still smiling she was happy to see henry, though she didn't expect to see him so soon.
Tristan got up out of the shade and started to wander around camp he didn't really look around that much last year and it still felt pretty new to him.
(>3<...I honestly really Like Naomi and Sanaa's relationship, because it feels natural. Even before this Sanaa & Naomi were close they were friends they cared about eachothers well being and that hasn't changed. Their personality hasn't changed, but they are happier and it shows how excited they are....also for college i'd think it'd mke sense they go to different colleges but live near camphalfblood in a apartment building whenever they aren't studying for school or in school they're at the camp helping out i'd imagine as adults they'd spend time helping around camp. but now it makes me sad if we continue this rp that means EVENTUALLY some characters will go, Sanaa & Naomi have like 3 of these to go before it'd be the end. Then again that sounds awesome imagine if we kept this up enough to make it have a time line we should turn these into actual books lol)
"Don't patronize me!" Oliver hissed, Alex's little scare getting to him as his steady hand slightly quivered. Gritting his teeth, he tool in a deep breath to prepare of he made another strike.
Marinette brows furrowed together, this was not going well so she considered dragging Percy or Sana'a over to help.
Percy, who seemed to catch their thought of something spoke of, "that's right! You two are siblings." He continued onto Prue. "Nick was a camper a few years back but had to take leave for a while." He said smoothly, avoiding the actual reasoning, and giving Nick a hit with his elbow. "And didn't bother telling anyone he was coming back this year. But enough about that." He peered carefully around Prue to see Masanori and give a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you, you'll have lots of fun here and make a lot of friends."
Brooke put on a pout identical to her sister's. "Hey! I bet she can fight better than you!" This time, she was grinning confidently, crossing her arms over her chest and standing up, making Ben sigh in relief as he did the same.
Manami laughed. "There's some big personalities in this camp, aren't there?" She said jokingly, looking at the twins, however the amusement was clear in her eyes.
Umiko decided he would simply go to find somewhere under a tree to sit, figuring that if he had any more siblings, they would probably arrive soon.
Sounds like fun, but let's see how long these rps will stay alive.xD))
Sanaa took the back easily, then followed Naomi. There was something about the summer breeze brushing past her that felt relaxing, but then again, she had always loved summer. Sanaa took a few moments to think as she caught what Naomi had muttered. "Well, Camp Half-Blood is very far away from any apartments I know, but sure, we could look for one close to it," she said with a smile, using her free hand to push her glasses up a bit.
"I would be worried about leaving Alex alone in New York just like that, but knowing him, if that thing with Asher continues on until they leave the camp, he'd probably just move in with him. Gods know that Asher would be so unhappy if he couldn't just go to the beach closest to him to surf anymore," she joked with an amused glint in her eyes.
Alex didn't make another move to attack, instead he just let his dagger sink to the side. While he was a bit annoyed that Oliver just refused to speak normally to him, he didn't raise his voice while speaking, "Look, I don't know what happened in your past, but try to get over it. This is the safest place for people like you and me." And that was honestly true, the camp gave all of them protection like nothing else could. Alex also had finally felt accepted once he had come here, so he couldn't grasp how Oliver could act so rude to people trying to be nice.
Nick looked straight at Prue when Percy said that, a calm and kind smile on his face. "Oh. so you're my sister? That's great! I used to be the Hades counselor, but don't worry, I don't want the position back," he replied, lazily resting his arms behind his head while grinning. He glanced over at the other boy afterwards, nodding. "Nice to meet you. Don't worry, this place is great." There was the tiniest hint of a frown on Nick's face as he said the word 'great', but it had disappeared as quickly as it had come.
"Sadly enough," Joshua joked with a laugh as Freya jumped up and down, declaring loudly that her sister was right. Joshua laughed a bit awkwardly as he watched them. "Don't worry, they mean well. Well, usually."
Manami just giggled, tucking some hair behind her ear. "Well, at least they're confident." She said with a smile. "What's being a child of Hecate like? I wouldn't really know quite yet." She said with a small blush, grinning and trying to hide her excitement.
Citrine (If this rp dies I'll make multiple accounts and keep it alive for thE rest of forever xD )
