Challenge mode
A new cat
:Setup:
Make sure your cat’s name is an apprentice name.
Put moss in the dens of the elders and nursery. These will be their nests.
Put herbs in the medicine cat den. (If you choose to be med apprentice, these will be important.)
Activate Challenge mode.
Open up a random list generator and paste the following list:
1- Hunting
2- Fighting
3- Healing
4- Speed
5- Strength
The first one is your cat’s main strength, the second, its weakness.
Write them down somewhere, then paste the following list:
1- Brave
2- Loyal
3- Arrogant
4- Clever
5- Rude
6- Patient
7- Short-tempered
8- Clumsy
9- Forgetful
10- Selfish
11- Compassionate
12- Disobedient
13- Mischievous
14- Outgoing
15- Reckless
The first 5 are your cat’s personality traits.
Roll a random generator from 1-50.
1- Blind in one eye
2- Blind
25- Birth deformity of some sort (Ex: A backwards paw)
50- Deaf
Any other number- Normal
Decide whether your cat is a warrior or medicine cat apprentice. A good idea would be to decide based on what you have randomly rolled.

1 season = 3 moons
:The Challenge:
:Apprentice At Last!:
The challenge begins with you as a newly appointed apprentice, at 6 moons.
You roll for a task once a day until next season.
{Warrior Apprentice Tasks, 1-5}
1- Clean out the elders’ den
2- Clean out the nursery
3- Hunting patrol, catch at least 3 pieces of prey
4- Combat practice, fight at least one battle today
5- Free day
{Medicine Apprentice Tasks, 1-6}
1- Clean out the elders’ den
2- Gather more herbs
3- A cat has fallen ill with fever. Give them feverfew to cure them. (use one of the mates as the cat)
4- A cat has been injured. Give them goldenrod to prevent infection. (use one of the mates as the cat)
5- A cat has a deep wound. Give them horsetail to cure them. (use one of the mates as the cat)
6- A cat has broken a bone. Give them comfrey to cure them. (use one of the mates as the cat)
:The Path to Being a Warrior/Medicine Cat:
Your goal is now to become either the medicine cat assistant, or the deputy assistant, depending on your chosen path. After you achieve this, you must wait for Coco to appear in order to receive your warrior/medicine cat name. During this time, you may play another challenge with daily rolls.
:Warrior/Medicine Cat:
At this point, you have received your full name. You may disable challenge mode now.
I would suggest this challenge by ♣Gingernose for warrior duties.
This is where the challenge becomes somewhat irrelevant, until the cat’s death.
In order to get an apprentice, you must have to have been a warrior/med cat for at least a season and have at least 50 reputation.

:Post Life:
You may choose a new cat and begin the cycle again, or just end the challenge.
If you are using a your kit to continue the challenge, they have a 50% chance of carrying on any deformities/disabilities you may have had, and a 25% chance of carrying on any that their grandparents had, if the challenge continues long enough.
