Untold Tales: The Kit to Leader Challenge
Prologue: You saw a starlit clearing, countless cats with stars in their fur circled you. One of them murmured,” You are a strong kit. And you have a great destiny. Go, and fulfill your destiny." Suddenly, the ground shifted and mist engulfed your eyes. You felt yourself plunging down, down into the living world.
"What a litter of beautiful kits!" a voice whispered.
"I will name the black one Crowkit, the blue tabby Jaykit, the white she-cat Snowkit, and the grey-and-white one Stonekit."
Rules:
1. Follow the rules, don't cheat.
2. No building your camp in The Gorge. This is because the cave inside the Gorge will become the sacred place for cats to perform ceremony.
3. Build your camp first BRFORE you start the challenge. Make sure that you have a Leader, a Medicine Cat, and a few Warriors and Apprentices. Choose between Crowkit (Warrior), Jaykit (Warrior), Stonekit (Warrior), or Snowkit (Medicine Cat). If you chose the cats that are not Stonekit, change your kit's name to Stonekit, and change Stonekit's name into your kit's.
4. Start at the night in the last day in a season whenever you are ready. (That's when the prologue started.) Make a new cat. This is to simulate a new born kit who knows no skills.
5. In each moon of your cat's life, there's a rule bolded on the age that tells you what you are able to do at that stage.
6. Camp must include at least 4 tiles with a nest of yours on each of them. This is to simulate the ranking up from a Kit to a Leader. Each tile of your camp must be protected by thick bramble thickets, but not separating them from the other tiles of your camp. There must be some prey that used to spawns in the camp area, and better if there is some Nursery Quest items spawning there, too.
7. Challenge mode unlocked, be in challenge mode when playing as a Kit and an Apprentice. Join a Clan and remove the challenge mode after you become a Warrior. In that way, your skills will be lost, in order to simulate the situation which you can choose your own way of fighting. Your old clanmates will be lost, too, in order to simulate the changes of time. (Cats don't live forever, do they?)
8. If you died, you must start over. If you died once as a leader, reboot the game, to simulate your cat being revived by StarClan and start when you last saved your progress. The challenge will end if you have lost all you remaining lives.
9. Follow the Warrior Code, at all costs, and never miss a Gathering if your rank is a Leader, a Deputy, or a New Warrior. Graduate and become a Warrior if you had leveled your Track Prey skill and Claw skill to its maximum.
10. One season stands for one moon.
11. Use random.org to choose the random events.
12. Earn Reputation Points for the priority to eat, or you can spend them in other uses. You start with 10, same as in the Clans. When Reputation go lower than 0, you are exiled, and must start over.
13. Placing prey on the prey pile increases Reputation Points. Different prey type you catch is worth different Reputation Points. Frog: 1 Reputation; Mouse: 2 Reputation; Rabbit: 3 Reputation; Thrush: 4 Reputation; Squirrel: 5 Reputation. Unless specified.
14. No visiting Tune as a Kit. Unless specified.
15. Apart from your camp, you have 12 pieces of territory for hunting, you may not cross them apart from going to battle, gathering, herb picking, or to visit StarClan. It is suggested that you mark your territory with buried items except moss. If you cross your territory with no good reasons, you can get a Reputation penalty by 10 points.
16. If someone asks you to fetch them a piece of prey, after you fetch it, you should let Clan cats steal it to simulate prey eaten. Same as the items.
17. Cats eat. The Queens eat 3 hunger bars worth of prey, the Leader and Warriors eat 2 hunger bars worth of prey, the Apprentices eat 1 hunger bar worth of prey, and the kits eat half a hunger bar worth of prey. (You eat however much you want)
18. When you died, scroll down to the “Death” part, and you must start over.
Clear? Ok, we can start now!
First Moon (Newborn Kit): You are forbidden to leave the Nursery Tile except for food and water. Before you reached 4 moon, you can only drink milk and water, which costs no Reputation.
You opened you eyes. After you eyes adjust to the darkness, you make out a grey shape. And three more bundles of fur curled up beside you. You tried standing up on your legs, but you flopped down on the soft moss.
"Hello, my kit, looks like you have opened you eyes," the grey tabby raised her head and purrs, "I am Softpounce, you mother. Your name is Stonekit." At the sound, the other three bundles of fur started to open their eyes. "Oh, and this is Jaykit, Crowkit, and Snowkit. They are your littermates."
1. One of your littermate asked you to bring them something to play with. Bring them an apple, a smooth stone, a feather, or a shiny thing. (+2 Reputations)
2. (If NewLeaf) A butterfly flies past. You and your littermates decide to chase it around for an hour.
3. You and your littermates are hungry, and your mother gave you some milk. Take one piece of prey from the Fresh-Kill Pile to eat stay in the Nursery for two hours. (- 0 Reputation)
4. Some enemy Warriors charged into the camp, taking away one of the other kits.
5. (If raining/snowing) A terrible storm was coming. Stay in the Nursery until it has past.
6. A fox snuck into camp, managing to steal a few rabbits from the prey pile.
7. Your Leader looks at you with extra interest. They offer to take you to a special piece of territory far from your camp. You may hunt there for the day. (Choose randomly)
8. You constructed WhiteCough, stay in the Medicine Den for 2 days.
Second Moon (Kit): You are able to go around the camp, but forbidden to go into the Leader's, Warrior's, and Apprentice's Den.
"Ahh, your legs are getting stronger!" whispered Softpounce,"you are now ready to meet some others."
"Crowkit! Jaykit! Snowkit!" you squeaked, “guess what? We can go out of the Nursery and explore now!" You and your littermates scurried off, excitement bubbling in your chest.
1. You accidently tumbles into the Warrior's Den, and was being scolded by your mother. (-1 Reputation)
2. You go to the Elder's den for some stories. Bring a mouse with you and give it to the Elders.
3. One of the younger Kits had been asking you to play with them. Hang around with them for 2 hours. (+5 Reputations)
4. You mother takes you out to practice hunting. You caught a mouse. (+2 Reputations)
5. Your dreams are filled with enemy cats, and as you awoke, one of the Nursery guards is killed by the advancing enemy.
6. Your Leader looks at you with extra interest. They offer to take you to a special piece of territory far from your camp. You may hunt there for the day. (Choose randomly)
7. (If raining/snowing) A terrible storm was coming. Stay in the Nursery until it has past.
8. A stray mouse crosses you path. You killed it and put it on the prey pile. (+2 Reputations)
Third Moon (Kit): You are able to go around the camp, but still forbidden to enter the Leader's, Warrior's, and Apprentice's Den or to leave camp without your mother or father taking you.
Your mother took you to the entrance tunnel, and started to groom your furs until you and your littermates' pelts are sleek and shiny. "Mamma? What are we doing here?" squeaked Crowkit.
"To meet your father,” she replied softly. A few heartbeats later, a muscular tomcat came into view. He was a grey and white tabby with green eyes. He smiles warmly at you.
"There he comes," Softpounce meowed, “he is Swiftstar, your father."

2. A stray mouse was found in your camp. You killed it with great skill learned from your father! You put it on the prey pile. (+2 Reputations)
3. A feather, a smooth stone, or a shiny thing, was found in the Nursery, play with it with the other kits. (+5 Reputations)
4. You caught a stray thrush and put it on the prey pile. (+3 Reputations)
5. You constructed WhiteCough. Buy 2 Feverfews from the Medicine Cat to be cured and stay in the Medicine Den for the next 2 days. (-3 Reputation)
6. You seem to be growing well! You caught a rabbit all by yourself! (+5 Reputations)
7. Your father brought you and your littermates a squirrel! You and your littermates squabble over it and eat for 3 hours. (- 0 Reputation)

10. Your Leader looks at you with extra interest. And accompanies you to the Carrion Place.
Fourth Moon (Kit): You are able to go around the camp, but still forbidden to enter the Leader's and the Warrior’s Den. You may explore in the Apprentice's Den in search for your possible bedding. No going out unless your mother or father took you.
You seem to be growing well. With the largest size among your littermates, the Apprentices started to play with you. "Catch the mossball!" yelled Bluepaw. She was the oldest among the Apprentices, and the Warriors are assuming she will become one of them on a few moons. You are already growing the same size as her.
1. An Apprentice taught you how to get moss! Get as many piece of moss as you like that day.
2. A Warrior had taken interest on you. Maybe that will want to be your mentor! Try talking to them if you'd like and if your Reputation is above 30, they may agree to take you out and explore the territory!

Fifth Moon: (Stronger Kit) You are now allowed to go anywhere in the camp except the Leader's and the Warrior's Den. No going out unless your mother or father took you.
You found Swiftstar leaping onto the Meeting Rock."Today, we are here to perform an important ceremony. Bluepaw, Tigerpaw, Stormpaw, and Brookpaw, steps forward. Do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code, even at the costs of your lives?"He meowed.
"I do." The Apprentices replied solemnly.
"Then by the power of StarClan, I give you your Warrior Names. Bluepaw, from now on, you shall be known as Blueclaw. StarClan honors your bravery and your strength. Tigerpaw, you shall be known as Tigerstripe. StarClan honors you intelligence and cunning on battles. Stormpaw, you shall be known as Stormwhisker. StarClan honors your courage and your strength. Brookpaw, from now on, you shall be known as Brookstream. StarClan honors your loyalty and your strength and we welcome you as a full Warrior of StoneClan"

Sixth Moon: (New Apprentice) You are now allowed to go out of the camp with your mentors. No entering the Leader's and the Warrior's Den. Go to the Gathering this moon, visit Tune whenever you want from now on.
"Crowkit, Jaykit, Snowkit, and Stonekit, steps forward!" Announced Swiftstar, "you have reached the age of six moons and is ready to become an Apprentice. Crowkit, from now on, until you received your Warrior Name, you will be known as Crowpaw. Your mentor will be Blackpelt. Jaykit, from now on, until you received your Warrior Name, you will be known as Jaypaw. You mentor will be Leopardclaw. Snowkit, as for you had chosen to walk the path of a Medicine Cat, you will be known as Snowpaw. Leafsky, our Medicine Cat, will be your mentor, I wish he will passes on all what he knew to you. Stonekit, from now on, until you received your Warrior Name, you will be known as Stonepaw. Your mentor will be Brookstream. I hope she will pass on what he knew to you."

Swiftstar was found sprawling near the riverbanks. He was on his last life, and the life was ebbing from him. His pelt torn into ragged wounds. The Deputy, Featherfur was the one who found him, and took his body back to the Clan. The Clan mourned for him the whole night, this noble Leader had died young, and Featherfur become Featherstar. She named Brookstream her Deputy. Featherstar promised the Clan to revenge for him to whoever had murdered your father.

Watersky was laying on the mossfloor in the Medicine Den. His breathing was horse, and was suffering from high fever. Leafpaw was with him when he was on his path to join StarClan. "I'm sorry, Leafpaw. I haven't give you your full Clan name. But from now on, you shall be known as Leafsky. I will meet you tonight at The Cave," after Watersky had said these words brfore StarClan, he had peacefully passed away.

Brookstar laid on the moss in the Medicine Den. Her breathing was quick and shallow. Her eyes were focused on you, and her lips are moving but you can't pick up any sound. The endless battles had costs 6 of her lives, the worst of GreenCough had taken away 3, and this horrible battle wound that even Snowleaf can't heal, was draining the last life out of her body. After Leafsky died of age, Snowleaf had taken over as the Medicine Cat, and Mintpaw had become her Apprentice. As the life began to ebb from Brookstar's body, you lean on your littermate's shoulder, and with a final shudder, Brookstar's noble spirit had gone to hunt with StarClan.
"She's gone," Snowleaf whispered, "Stoneheart, you'll have to travel to The Cave tonight." Night had gathered, and the spirits of StarClan started to appear on the Silverpelt. You sank into sleep....
In your dreams, you dreamed of standing on FourTrees. StarClan Warriors encircled you, and in the ranks, you identified Softpounce, Swiftstar, and joyfully, your recognized Brookstar. She nodded at you and the first cat stepped out. You identified Stormwhisker, your mentor.

Not waiting for you to receive your first life, another cat stepped into view. He is a muscular tomcat, with a white belly and long legs. "Crowfrost!" You exclaimed. "With this life, I give you intelligence. Use it well if you don't know what to do." Another wave of pain crashed through you, and you felt your legs shake after the life had been given to you.
The third cat that approached was Softpounce. "With this life, I give you love. Use it well on the cats in your Clan and the ones that needed them, especially Mapleshine." As you received this life, you felt no pain. You found yourself purring at the warmth.
The fourth cat that approached was Swiftstar, "With this life, I give you the endless energy to run through the forest. Use it well to serve your Clan."
The fifth cat was Skyleap. "With this life, I give you partnership, use it well to work together with your Clanmates," she murmured softly.
The next cat was Leafsky, the previous Medicine Cat. "With this life, I give you the ability to heal wounds caused by words. Use it well to make peace when war was not needed."
