This is not your average cat clan. Here, we are dogs. Our neighboring clan, Clawclan, is made of cats. The feud as old as time itself. Cats vs Dogs. Think you have what it takes to be a Warrior Dog?
-= History =- The truth behind Wolfclan and Clawclan is as strange as you can imagine. A cat and a dog by the names of Lucy and Luke ran away from their home with a few other cats and dogs from the twolegplace. They found the aspen forest that seemed to call to them. The cats went west across the river to form their own home, Clawclan, while the dogs stayed on the eastern side and formed Wolfclan. Lucy kept her name to remember her home, becoming known as Lucystar, while Luke took the name Luckstar, because he felt to be the most lucky dog alive to lead Wolfclan.
Lucystar and Luckstar grew apart as the moons passed and they worked to stabilize their clans. Eventually, they decided the river as the border between them because of disputes of their warriors. Pups and kits are told stories of the creation of the two clans because the animals think of each other as equals.
Well, most of the time.
-= Information =- Since I'm fairly sure no one has been in a Warrior Dogs roleplay before, here's the rundown. Ranking and naming works the same way as the cats, except pups have the suffix -pup. (Ex. Graypup, Firepup, Leafpup) Also pregnant dogs will not be called queens or their technical term, we will call them Mothers. Patrols, territory, hunting and gatherings still works the same.
-= Territory =- The clans live in an aspen forest. A river divides them. The training clearing is south of the Wolfclan camp. Map
-= Rules =- Falconstar's Rules. SEMI-REALISTIC PELT COLORS. (I don't mind if your pelt color is a little wild, but no vibrant purples or pinks etc. You know what I mean. Eye color is all up to you but again, maybe not bright purple or pink. I'll be fairly lenient on this rule.) Limit of 4 pups per litter. (Since real life litters can get upwards of 16. Let's just not xD) Have as many characters as you can handle. Follow the info stated in the information area above. My word is law. Must be at least Seasoned Warrior rank to join. If you read everything, quake. Hate the character, not the RPer. Be nice. Have fun.

-= Allegiances =- - Leader - Thunderstar (🌼 Sprucetail 🌼 ) Brown and black brindle mutt with blue eyes. His build is somewhat like a schnauzer, but he has a more pointed snout. His muzzle shape is closer to a husky’s, but his head and body shape is squarish like that of a schnauzer. He has large paws and a long thick tail. He has a very deep voice and is very charismatic and diplomative.
- Medicine Dog Apprentice - Doepaw - Doepaw is an Azawakh, which is probably one of the most elegant dog breeds you'll ever see. She has a very long and tall figure, and appears older than she is because of it. This female has short, thin, light tan fur with white on her paws, on the tip of her tail, and lighter tan fur along her belly and chest. She sports an artfully curled tail, floppy ears, and an elegant neck which add grace to her already regal features. Doepaw earned her name from her doe-like appearance when she was born, and remains true to the name due to her soft and gentle nature. (EchoingProphecies)
This female is one of the kindness dogs you'll ever meet, and wouldn't hurt a fly. That is, you don't touch her loved ones. Doepaw is in no way shy, and is rather social and friendly to those she meets. She may be a Medicine Dog Apprentice, but do not stereotype her as meek. Doepaw sports the fierceness of a wolf, and will not tolerate anything that hurts others. Fiercely loyal and protective, this female would gladly give her life up for the ones she loves. Doepaw has quite a few friends and loves to explore and play with them. She may be training in medicine, but she's still a youthful apprentice who wants to have fun while she's still young. Due to this, the apprentice has a tad bit of a mischievous side, and her humor ranges from sarcastic to generally wholesome. She's technically the "mom-friend" who takes care of everyone and makes sure they stay safe while they have fun. Doepaw is usually respected by warriors because of her cautious yet loving nature, and how she still manages to keep a sense of maturity around them. She's usually in no way mature when she's in a goofy state. Don't believe a word she says, Doepaw is an absolute dork.
However fierce she may be, Doepaw is only as sharp as her mind. Beyond words and courage, she probably couldn't hurt a fly.. quite literally. She never learned to fight because that skill never seemed necessary to her. If Doepaw were to get in trouble, she'd rely on her exceptionally fast speed. Agile and swift, Doepaw could sprint faster at her age than most warriors could, and would proudly do so. This is one thing she takes pride in, that and her knowledge with herbs. Doepaw has a sharp nose and a good memory, which are necessary skills to have as a Medicine Dog. She does her best to memorize all the herbs she has to know, and doesn't goof off when it comes to training. Azawakh's are natural hunters and due to this, Doepaw has hunting instincts and though she barely ever trained in that area, she could definitely catch prey if she were dying of starvation.
- Warriors - Branchfur - Brown and white jack Russell terrier. Bright goldish-brown eyes. He’s very energetic but shy. He gets spooked easily but gets a surge of bravery whenever his friends or family is threatened. (🌼 Sprucetail 🌼 )
Specklestorm - Specklestorm is a medium-sized female dog who is about a foot and a half tall at her shoulder. She is a very furry Border Collie with long fur. She has interesting markings on her fur. The formal name for the color is blue merle. In other words, Specklestorm's fur is blueish gray with black flecks on her face, tail, and here and there on her body. She also has a lot of white in her pelt. Her chest, behind her neck, legs, and part of her tail are white. She has dark brownish-black eyes. ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞
Specklestorm has a dynamic personality. In short, she is alert, energetic, hardworking, and smart. She is a very quick learner. She is so quick, in fact, that it is hard to keep her interested in one thing for too long. She always wants to find something new, and because of that she might seem bored more often than not.
This pretty much fits hand in hand with how energetic she is. Specklestorm is never one who likes to sit around. She thrives on activity, and she is always looking for something to do. She stays busy most of the time. Therefore, she is stubborn if someone tells her she should stop. She will push herself to or even past her limits, and she doesn't realize it half the time.
Specklestorm might be energetic and hardworking, but she is not as outgoing as she seems. She is sometimes shy, especially around strangers. She is never too quick to trust because of that. Nonetheless, Specklestorm is friendly. She is friendly unless she gets in a bad mood. When this happens, she will have some sassy words to say. Additionally, if someone hurts someone else she deeply cares about, she will not let them off easily.
As for skills, Specklestorm is basically average in everything. She is not much of a hunting dog, though she can manage to catch something every once in a while. Given her friendly personality, Specklestorm dislikes violence but will fight if she has to. If the hunting and fighting skills had to be compared, she is probably a better fighter, despite not liking battles. It is just something she is able to get her grasp on. Another factor that plays into her not being able to hunt as well is her lack of patience to wait on the prey.
- Mothers - Honeythorn - Golden German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute mix. She has greenish-blue eyes. She has a darker reddish brown saddle marking and a couple spots across the rest of her body. (🌼 Sprucetail 🌼 )
- Apprentices - Bonepaw - Bonepaw is a large caucasian shepherd dog. Her body is muscular and strong, her jaws larger that many dogs. She is very energetic and happy. I want to join this but you might have to give me a few days x3 Mind if I reserve Med Apprentice? Also I totally understand the warrior cat-ish names but will we be allowed more dog-ish names? I believe such things as claw wouldn’t exactly fit the names and more things such as.. jaw? Would? I dunno, I’m just brainstorming because I imagine the dogs would be just slightly different from the cats and I was pondering on names x3
