... of me being on this forum lol. It's been a while, honestly. Hard to imagine 2011 having been that long ago.
I was 12 when I joined, so honestly, I think it's safe to assume to this forum has shaped me in some way, at least. I'm not actually reading Warriors anymore or anything, but I'm still fond of this forum. I've met some of my best friends on here. A lot of them aren't on the forum anymore, but we still keep in touch in other ways.
So, I wanted to say thanks to everybody for the good time here. I had some rough times when I was younger, and coming on here was always the highlight of my day. This place was the most important thing to me back then, and I always had somebody to laugh with.
Next part is kinda more or less directed at Falcon Development in some way, haha.
I can't say whether it was the actual first step or not, but when I downloaded wcut when I was still in 6th grade, I think that was the first time I ever got interested in computer science and programming. The game made me realize that normal people can actually create these kind of things, as somebody had made a game for my favorite books! I checked out a computer science class at school the year after, and while the class definitely wasn't the best one around, I was fascinated by the little bit of programming we did do. Could make the computer do what I wanted and all that.
Now, fast forward a few years, I'm actually a developer now. Not for games, mind you, but that's not really what's important. I'm officially a junior dev with a contract now and I think wcut played a big part in bringing me down that path.
I think you did something really important Falcon, I'm sure wcut got a lot of young girls interested in programming as it did with me. I think you can be really proud of that
That's about all I wanted to say, really. To many more years, everybody!
