Hey, my name is Blayz. I turn 20 this year and I study at Michigan State University.
I love agriculture and animals, especially those on the farm. I'd like to be a farm
manager once I am done with my education. I saw a video about this game on
TikTok. It's been years since I've held an Erin Hunter book in my hands, but I've
always enjoyed the world of Warrior Cats! I have an interest in story telling and
creating, but I have always found role-playing hard to keep up with, and the threads
usually died years ago. I'm hoping to set up the foundation of a character so I could
have the chance to roleplay in the future. However, the first step to creating a
character is their name, and I am already stuck! I would appreciate some help
with either naming my cat, some tips on how to get into roleplaying and some
general etiquette, or how to play the Untold Tales! Now introducing my feline.
This she-cat is dark brown with short fur. She is slim in the face and has green
eyes. She prefers to observe; keeping her mouth shut and her mind open.
She aims to please and keep the peace, but has no tolerance for bullying.
She is reliably selfless like a mother, but finds herself uncomfortable around talkative
kits and judgmental elders. Although this cat has some interest in herbs, and her sleek, shadowed
form allows her to slip within the shade of the forest, she has yet to commit
to a profession. She prefers to be able to help wherever needed, so she has
kept it that way for now. She hasn't seriously considered kits or a mate, but she
has a soft spot for a certain type of cat. . .
I want my character to be unique without being purple, overpowered, or a
unicorn. I don't want her to be a "pick-me"; I just want to enjoy the
thought of creating something of my own. I have considered giving her scars,
but, as I mentioned, she is generally peaceful. Regardless, I have many
scars of my own and think they're beautiful, so I might find a way of
incorporating them. I wanted to have some white marking on her chin and a
blaze on her forehead(a nod to my name), but the breed that I used
for inspiration, a Havana brown, generally doesn't have these markings,
so it was hard to find a reference for credibility. Another aspect I had
in mind is that she was a loner- a kit out of a kittypet Havana brown
male that met a rogue clan she-cat. Her time between being
outside a clan to being inside one could be a good excuse for
her having scars. I apologize for being so thorough, but I have been
thinking about this for a long time. I would like a plant/tree name, but I am also
considering an animal name. I feel like trees and some animals fit her
reserved, overlooking personality. Here are some reference photos(variously
aged cats) and some of the suffix and prefix I have considered.
