Heya! i didn't know whether to put this in fanart or screenshots or whatever so im posting it here! The general idea of this CYOA is that you are trying to become a warrior during a tough time for all the clans. Makes choices and rise to the top with your friends!
So, let's begin, shall we?
~
Sunpaw awoke to a early morning, dew still wet on the ground. He got up and stretched, and scanned the apprentices den. His friend, Crowpaw, wasn't there. He stepped outside into the dim sunlight, and found him playing with a bug on the ground.
"Hey, Crowpaw!" Sunpaw called. Crowpaw's head shot up and he smiled.
"Good morning, Sunpaw," He got up, and flicked his tail.
"What should we do today?" Sunpaw asked.
"How about we hunt? Food has been running low for all the clans.." Crowpaw said, disheartened.
"Yeah, we should ask Rotstar if we can go on a hunting patrol!" Sunpaw said excitedly.
"Yeah, let's go!" They ran towards the Shadowclan leader's den.
~
"No, you cannot go on a hunting patrol right now," Rotstar growled, "There's already a hunting patrol out, and we need to save energy by having one patrol at a time. There's only so much food to keep us going."
"Awwww..." Sunpaw groaned. He noticed his friend bristling.
"Don't," he whispered to the upset Crowpaw, who gulped and straightened himself.
"Well? I denied your request. Unless you have any further buisness, be on your way," Rotstar huffed and walked towards Jaggedtooth, the deputy who was outside the den.
"That went well," Sunpaw said, trying to cheer Crowpaw up. He chuckled a little.
"Come on, we don't need Rotstar's permission to leave," Crowpaw whispered.
"Wait, you mean sneak out?" Sunpaw whispered back, surprised.
"Of course, mousebrain," he nudged Sunpaw, "we can ask your sister for help."
"Moonpaw is pretty clever. Alright fine, let's go."
The two apprentices went to the medicine den, Moonpaw, Sunpaw's sister.
"Heya, sis! How are you doing?" Sunpaw said cheerfully.
"Oh, you've got that mischievous look on your face. What is it this time?" She said, rolling her eyes.
"We're sneaking out to go hunting and we need your help," Crowpaw summarized.
"You're hunting? You've convinced me. What do I need to do?" Moonpaw asked.
"Fall off a tree and make everyone worried so we can sneak out!" Sunpaw suggested.
"I may be dumb sometimes, but my brains not crowfood," Moonpaw retorted.
"Hmm. How many herbs do you know?" Crowpaw asked.
"A decent amount. Why do you ask?" She tilted her head.
"What if you went to the guards and asked them if they wanted to learn basic herbs because, like-- in case of an emergency, they could get the basic injuries treated quickly and the medicine catd could finish up the rest?" Crowpaw suggested.
"That- that actually sounds like a good idea," Moonpaw was wide-eyed, "Ok, let's do it.
Moonpaw went up to the guards and asked them if they wanted to learn basic healing herbs. Whether or not they agreed or declined, it was already too late since Sunpaw and Crowpaw already snuck past them and into the wild.
They searched through the swamp, trying to get a whiff of just on frog or thrush, but to no avail. It was only Leaf-fall, too!
"Wait," Crowpaw said. Sunpaw stopped in surprise, then he smelt it.
"Fox," Sunpaw shivered. "Should we follow it?"
"Maybe we could split up to find it. It shouldn't be that far, so we'll be fine," Crowpaw stated.
What should they do?
A. Look for the fox together
B. Don’t engage
C. Look for one of the other patrols for help
D. Split up to find the fox
So, let's begin, shall we?
