Pepperstar (LightClan) Thornpaw (LightClan)
Pepperstar smiled as he waited for everyone to gather then he began to speak. “I Pepperstar, leader of LightClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn. “Thorn paw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?” His voice cool and clear ash he spoke, proud to once again make an apprentice a warrior.
Thornpaw’s smile grew as she padded forward at her name being called, standing in front of the leader. “I do.” She mewed confidentiality and looking at the older tom.
“Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Thornpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Thornbranch. StarClan honors your thoughtfulness and spirit, and we welcome you as a full warrior of LightClan!” Pepperstar’s voice rose as he proclaimed the new warrior’s name.

"Thornbranch! Thornbranch!" Cloudfeather cheered with the crowd. He was happy that LightClan had a new warrior at last. He had confidence that the young she-cat would make a fine warrior for the clan.

Thornbranch smiled as her new name was chanted by the rest of her clanmates, full of pride and slight embarrassment. She was not use to this kind of attention and last time had been when she was an apprentice. “Thank you, I will serve LightClan with pride.” She mewed and dipped her head to the leader in respect. Once the chanting died down did she go back to sit with the rest of the clan, to see if there was anything else or the clan was going to be dismissed.

“Now as everyone knows, we have a new cat with us tonight.” Pepperstar mewed with a slight nod to the former darkclan cat, “Regardless of where they come from, we will not turn an injured cat away. ShadowruNner is here to join us, i aspect each and every cat to put any…. grudges aside, as she is our new clanmate.” The leader continued and hesitated for the right word but kept going, “Also, there is a clan meeting tomorrow night. I hope every cat will be kind and courteous…. Even if the other clan isn’t. That is everything, meeting is dismissed.”
