Is there still a story?

I just redownloaded the game after many, many years. It's so exciting! However, I seem to remember there being a story to the game back when I played many years ago. If I recall correctly, you had to build up your strength to fight Brokenstar. I haven't really noticed much of a storyline in version 15. Am I misremembering or doing something wrong?

I think you might be confusing this for Warrior Cats The Game. That one had more of a direct storyline to it, related to the actual books. Untold Tales wouldn't have references to the names like that because of copyright reasons, as it's an unofficial game.
