As she was hauled backwards, Cindersmash felt a little relief, but still very shaken. Her eyes were wide, her fur spiked up.

Aspenpaw let out a sigh of relief, eyes wide and fearful, chest heaving as he panted, flopping down onto the ground. The tom peered over the edge, gulping, his tail twitching.
Wrenbreeze dislodged her grip on Cindersmash, a small smile crept across her face as the warrior was dragged to safety. The she-cat meowed,"We did it," between wheezing.
Icesong waved her tail towards up the slope, where the camp sat, a pleading look in her pale blue eyes,"There, before more trouble arises."

Shadowheart put her paw in and flinched before following Riverwhisker into the dark, cold water. As she swam, the dark she-cat wondered if there were predators in this cave system and where they were.

Hazelpaw let go of Cindersmash once they were on sturdy ground as she felt the cut on her shoulder sting like a thousands of bees which had reopened more, "yeah...don't worry Cindersmash, we'll get you back to camp..." she mewed to the shaken warrior.

Riverwhisker climbed out of the water and stepped onto the small, stony island. "I have gathered a small store of food. Bats and cave fish mostly. It's disgusting at first, but it will not kill you,"

Shadowheart shook out her pelt and nodded slowly. She had never tired bat or cave fish, but if it was all they had until they could get back to the Clan, she would at least try it.

Riverwhisker shook out his pelt "Get yourself comfortable, we may be here awhile. I have searched around and have so far not found any other exit. We may be doomed to live down here forever, far after our clan has forgotten us,"

Shadowheart frowned when he said this. She didn't want to think that their Clan would stop searching for them. "A patrol knows I was trapped and where. If they move the rocks in front on the slab and then move the slab, they will find the way I got down," she meowed, hoping this would give the tom more confidence in his Clanmates.

Riverwhisker shook his head "Those rocks are very heavy. I doubt they will be able to shift them. Also, how will they be able to find us, there are many caverns and tunnels,"

Shadowheart narrowed her eyes at him. "How would you know? You weren't there," she said as she slowly sat down.

"Are you sure I was not there? For being down here for a relatively short time, I have adapted to my surroundings. Don't worry, I wasn't there, but rock is very heavy. It is not light by any means,"
