Red adjusted her crouch. She didn't think she had it quite right yet, but she crept after Sparrow regardless, careful not to step on any twigs.
The little tom's tail flicked excitedly as Hidden told her story, though Acorn's tale of the bear was certainly not forgotten. "What did you do?" he asked, enthralled.
Patch nodded, but turned to her friends first. "Goodbye, Stub. Bye, Red." Her friends blinked in surprise but meowed their farewells.
Wanderer waited for Patch to come to her. The gray-and-white kit came to a stop in front of the tabby. "I'm going to go with Ryeleaf. Thanks for taking care of me!" She meowed. Wanderer lowered her head to give Patch's head a quick lick. "Goodbye, my young friend," she replied. "Spirits be with you." Patch nodded somewhat seriously and turned back to Ryeleaf. "I'm ready to go if you are."
((And now Patch is yours! c: ))

Sparrow examined her crouch. "Alright, keep your tail still and make sure that your paws don't rustle leaves," she meowed and stalked forward, thinking of a plan to catch the bird.
"There was then gunshot in the distance and the wolves were distracted. I then sunk my fangs into the wolf's chest and ripped it out. With the taste of wolf blood fresh in my mouth, I sunk my fangs into it's shoulder. It growled and clawed my chest, which was when I got this scar." she continued and pointed with her tail to a huge scar on her chest.
Ryeleaf smiled, nodding to Wanderer. "Thank you for letting me talk to them," she meowed, dipping her head. "StarClan be with you." She wasn't sure if Wanderer knew about StarClan, but she had said it before she had even thought about it. Beckoning with her tail for Patch to follow, Ryeleaf headed off, the kit at her heels. She dipped her head to the others still there and meowed a farewell. Smiling, she turned to Patch. "Well, it's time to show you those sheep!" she announced and the two were off.
(Good luck to the rest of you guys!)

Acorn wanted to curl his tail protectively around Stub. He stopped a low growl from coming through his clenched teeth, and was barely able to keep himself from narrowing his eyes. If Stub goes with him, I don't think he'll be very safe... Acorn straightened. "That is dangerous." He met the tom's gaze. "The wolf could of bit your spine and paralyzed or killed you. You want to jump on its back, after you pull its tail with your teeth. You don't need to kill a wolf- you just need to scare it away."

((Sorry, I've been kinda busy :/ ))
Holly padded back into the clearing the group was in, carrying a thrush. Her eyes widened as she saw Acorn and Hidden fighting over something- she thought she had heard something about wolves? No wonder she couldn't find any other prey. She looked around warily. Patch, the calmest kit, was gone, and a strange cat's scent filled the air- probably the cat that had taken Patch. At least Wanderer and Sparrow were still here, they seemed okay. Hidden scared her, and seemed untrustworthy. None of her stories seemed true either, it seemed like she was just a bad fighter, with a lot of scars to prove it. She shook her pelt of the leaves that clung to her, and, after a moment's hesitation, set the thrush down at Stub's paws. "D-do you want the thrush?" She stuttered. Holly did not feel comfortable standing between the two fighting cats, but she did want to make sure Stub was safe.
"It's my story to tell." Hidden snapped. "So let me tell it." she added before continuing."The other wolf, a Beta by the size, launched itself at me, jaws wide." she said and gasped for dramatic effect.

Holly looked up at Hidden from where she crouched beside Stub. "There's no way you could have fought off more than one wolf," She argued, glancing at Stub. "Wolves are dangerous, especially when you're by yourself. You should never fight something that lethal by yourself." Holly stood a little straighter. "I don't believe that you fought off wolves by yourself- I think you're lying!"
Red nodded seriously, staring at her paws as she padded after the older she-cat. There weren't many leaves at first, but the closer they got to their prey, the trickier it was to step lightly. Red made sure to stay a step or two behind Sparrow so she wouldn't be blocking the way when it came time to strike.
Stub was a brave and curious kit, but even he was beginning to get nervous as the grown cats argued. Holly's arrival and offering of a thrush was more than welcome by that point. Stub ducked under Acorn's tail and approached the thrush the she-cat had dropped. "Oh, yes please," he answered. "Thank you!" The black-and-white tom picked up the thrush and slipped out of the middle of the confrontation to sit maybe a foxlength away to watch the grown-ups argue.
Before things could escalate much more, Wanderer stood and padded lightly between the other cats. "Now, now," she began eyeing them each in turn. "There's no cause for all this." She paused to check Red's location and making sure Stub was out of harm's way before continuing. "There's no sense in arguing. Perhaps Hidden did fight a wolf, perhaps not. A story is a story, and the teller should not be judged until the end," she pointed out, glancing at Holly. Then, she turned to Acorn. "It is always wise to point out another's mistake," she meowed calmly, taking note of his growl, "but there is no call for hostility." Lastly, she looked to Hidden. "Talking of hostility, there is no reason bear fangs near children if not in their defense. One should treat others kindly to be treated kindly in return." With her peace talk delivered, Wanderer smiled at the trio and casually glanced over her shoulder to where Red and Sparrow were on the hunt. "What good timing of Sparrow to lead Red elsewhere before this confrontation. The poor dear would have been terrified."

"Anyway, there was another gunshot and the wolves were scared. They back up. Seeing my chance to attack, I gave the beta a scar they will never forget. Another gunshot sounded and the two wolves ran off. The end." she finished.

Sparrow motioned for Red to go around the bush carefully. She had a plan in mind and hoped it would work so they would catch the starling and not send it fluttering off to warn all the other prey.

Holly dipped her head to Wanderer and Hidden. "Sorry," She muttered, and turned her back on Acorn and Hidden, instead facing Stub. She padded forward cautiously, sitting down about a fox-length from where Stub was eating the thrush. "Is that your first thrush?" Holly asked quietly. "Sorry if our argument scared you a little... but everyone fights sometimes, I guess." She curled her tail around her feet, looking at the small gray-and-white kit. "Who was your mother, if Wanderer isn't your parent?" Her eyes widened as she realized she might have offended Stub, and hurried to add, "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
Taking her cue, Red made her way carefully around the bush, eyes narrowed in concentration. At one point she almost stepped on a leaf, but she noticed at the last moment and padded lightly around it. She really didn't want to mess this up.
Stub munched on the thrush happily, pausing when Holly headed his way. Figuring she was about to say something, he quickly used his paw to swipe a feather away from his mouth. "No, but I haven't had one in a while! Wanderer's not very good at catching birds," he added, lowering his voice in embarrassment. Wanderer always looked after them very well, and he didn't want her to think he was complaining if she overheard. "And I wasn't really scared. I didn't want to be caught up in the middle is all." He took another bite while Holly spoke again. She had asked about his mother, but there wasn't much to say. He certainly didn't mind telling her what he did know. "I don't really remember her," he replied. "I was a kittypet, at first. Kittypet mothers don't usually keep their kits for long before their twolegs send them somewhere else, Wanderer said. I snuck outside while my twolegs weren't looking so I could look around, but I went too far and got lost. Wanderer found me and told me I could come with her until we found my twolegs, but I like being a wild cat more than a kittypet."
