[♪♫•*Crescent-o♪♫•*, I would be more then willing to let your character have a mind-link with her! However, I'd prefer if it develop and happened in rp, rather then her just suddenly getting a mind-link with Altair, since Mind-links work on bonds, and its a bit difficult for character development if they start out close friends.]
Eva strolled through the woods in her usual silence. Since she had first awoken without her memories, she also found she lacked a voice. She reached into her large coat pocket and slipped out one of her silver knives, twirling it without a care. She froze and looked up with an alarm expression as she froze, detecting nearby voices. She strained her ear to listen, which did little to help her understand them from so far. She gripped the hilt of the dagger in her palm tightly, slowly drawing nearer to Vega and Altair.

Opening her eyes, Takako found herself laying on the ground against a tree. ...What's happening? Somehow, Takako knew she was in a place called the Vertex. But she didn't know how she'd arrived here. She didn't remember what she was doing at any point of her life in the past. She didn't remember anything about herself except that her name was Takako Tokushima. And most of all, she had no idea what she was supposed to do. A normal person would have felt fear, but Takako just felt intrigued, albeit slightly wary. Standing up and brushing her skirt off, she lightly brushed the handle of one of her kodachi with the tip of her fingers. Well. Might as well explore.
Eva lightly fingered the handle of her dagger, narrowing her eyes as the small, seemingly ten year old girl drew closer to the speaking girls, quickly hiding behind a nearby tree as she peered from around it at the two girls, listening to their conversation in silence.

Takako moved through the trees silently, keeping a watch out for any signs of life. She seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, so she didn't think it was likely to encounter other people. Unless other people are in the same situation I am- lost, confused, and wiped of memory.
She turned hesitantly and moved from them, deciding better to go search for supplies then meaninglessly watching others. Eva moved carefully, trying hard to keep quiet. Just as she was nearly out of ear shot of the two girls, she made a wrong move, stepping particularly loudly on a twig. It was a bit slow of a reaction, but the alarm and realization of what had happened reached her in a few seconds. She took off as fast as her slim short legs would take her, dropping one of her silver knives by the stick in her hurry as she ran into the cover of the forest without stop.

(Aww, did poor ♪♫•*Crescent-o♪♫•* get tossed into the Vertex as well? XD -memory wipe joke-) (Well, anyway, not much, just that post above yours is of immediate importance. Also, adding a character that I'll put on the list later. His name's Jonas, he's got pale skin, blue eyes, and pale blonde hair. He's a generally cold person, but he'll open up to some person, and like Vega, secretly craves a companion, though the longing is minute, and really just an afterthought for him at present. His weapon of choice is his pair of spiked brass knuckles.)
Altair whirled around, her hair swirling bwhind her. She heard the twig snap and was on her way, following the area where the zound came from. The thing that made it wasn't particularly careful about hiding themself now, making them fairly easy to follow. Her feet barely skimmed the ground and she felt like she was getting closer.

Vega had heard the twig snap, as well, and she turned to see Nyx slip off into the foliage and disappear, probably to follow the sound. Vega knew that she had two options; defend the split carcass and loose a chance of more food or some other advantage, or follow the noise from another angle and run the risk of their much-needed source of food. She opted to defend the carcass halves after a second of thought. Even a morsel of stolen food would be a huge loss, in her eyes. She hastily grabbed her half of the tiger carcass by a hind leg and dragged it closer to Nyx's. Vega kept herself upright in case of attack from some predator, and also to have a better view of her surroundings. Nothing seemed to be around yet, but something, possibly even someone, could come along at any second.
Jonas woke up to his hair being rudely splashed by a bathing bird. He swatted the bird away with a growl, then scanned his surroundings from an upright position. He was near a river basin, which explained his wet hair and the bird bathing right there, but other than that, nothing made sense to him except that he was outside the Vertex, and that he had a pair of spiked brass knuckles. Still, that didn't even make total sense to him, but he let the wondering go with a sigh. He knew his goal. He just didn't know how to go about it just yet.
Eva ran and ran, still unaware of the third silver knife of her's that had been carelessly left behind. She stopped in front of a large pine tree. Hastily she gripped a silver knife in each hand, she stabbed into the tree bark and climbed up the tree and hid on the branches, watching skillfully for the following enemy.

Jonas became aware of a faint rustle, and then something impaling wood. Silence followed, and he became curious, so he ran quietly to the source of the noise. He stopped when he believed he was near enough, and scanned the area for dense cover and settled on a thick knot of mangled-looking tree branches and roots of a long-dead but sturdy tree. There were vines and other foliage growing in and around it, a perfect hiding spot. He considered possibly making it a base, but focused on the task of clambering into it while making as little noise as possible. He made some leaves rustle softly in the process, but figured it would be dismissed as a breeze, or possible a small fruit falling to the forest floor.
