She listened to the boy in silence as she usually did. After he finished speaking did she return her skeptic glare to her enemy. Though she raised her knife up one last time in warning at her, she did lower it and reluctantly put it away, or at least half away. It was still slightly out of its sheathe, ready to be grabbed for the usage of a fight. She turned now to Jonas. She bowed her head to him, then walked off toward the undergrowth.

Jonas let out a sigh of relief as the conflict, at least on the smaller girl's end, dissipated and disappeared, but he also felt a twinge of sadness as he watched her go. Why, he had no idea, but he wouldn't call out to her unless he wanted an ear chopped off. He faced the taller girl now, his stance tense in case she decided to lash out. He waited patiently, but his eyes and white knuckles gave away that he was nervous as he waited for the other girl's reaction.
She moved into the undergrowth and quickly out of sight. Out of presence or area, however, not so much. Still interested in learning about the nearby enemies or possibly allies, she went to a nearby tree and once again repeated her careful yet hasty climbing from before. She reached the top where she could hopefully not be seen, and though she could only distantly hear this voice, watched their actions just as closely.

Altair stifled a scoff. Conflict was inevitable.... but... what if he was right? Creating treaties among different groups might be okay...? She let the thought trail on to other possibilties in the future. A huge group would eventually become disbanded, disagreement tearing them apart. She glanced at the boy, her eyes sharp. She sighed. "I-I dont know.. a group of us all would sooner lead to conflict.." voicing her thoughts started wobbly, but she soon became confident. "Different treaties among different groups might work out better.." her eyes diverted, still cautious.

Jonas nodded, and his expression showed that he was glad that he hadn't lost a limb or an ear yet. "I was thinking smaller groups, maybe two to five, and between them all would be a loose alliance, or at least acknowledgement that they aren't a threat to the other person or group. Less injuries, more figuring stuff out and providing for the ones here. Maybe, if we keep this going long enough, we can figure out how we got here, why we got here, and who exactly put us here. Anything inside or outside of the Vertex." He said. His eyes flicked around for any possible danger lurking, and when he found none, his attention was shifted back to the girl.

"Brilliant. Now, I don't think there are many of us, but there must be a few more around besides us three." Jonas said. He figured that forming a group of three wouldn't be too bad, himself and the two girls. Surely there were others, though, they just needed to find them.

She nodded, remembering the girl named Vega. Altair's senses suddenly came rushing back to her. Why had she lost focus from the outer world so easily. She would need to work on that... Growling under her breath, Altair narrowed her eyes. Why had she trust him so easily? Her own foolishness. She grumbled about how she was 'such a fatuous human'.

Vega became impatient, and with a sigh, began dragging the two halves of the tiger carcass along in the direction that Nyx had run off. The job was slow, but Vega made sure she moved along as fast as she could with several pounds of dead weight trailing behind her. She soon heard running water, and another little bit longer, she could see it, and a fire, as well as Nyx, another girl, and a boy. Vega was curious, and took another step forward, but stepped on a twig that snapped. Vega scowled at her lack of caution, but knew that she could do nothing to escape. She looked for a hiding spot, but the boy had already looked up as the twig had snapped, and started tramping towards her. Vega let go of the carcass halves and put a hand on her katana.

Altair whirled around. Her hand now gripling tightly onto her knife. She narrowed her eyes, staring at the girl's back. Throwing her knife, the dagger flew towards the girl. The girl, which was Vega. The knife snagged on Vega's clothes, then embedded itself into a tree.

(*facepalm* I don't have a freaking clue anymore XD *cue Jackie Chan meme*)
Vega became alarmed as Nyx threw one of her knives. "What the heck, Nyx, I seriously thought I could at least not have a date with death today. You should thank me, I was guarding your half of the tiger, and I still am."
Jonas stopped in his tracks as the taller girl threw a knife. "Aaaaand this is why we can't have nice things..." He muttered with a sigh and a facepalm.

Altair shrugged. "Sorry.. assumed you were taking my stuff. Stupid me.." she was feeling really off today, and felt watched. No.. that wasn't it. Intruded, like somethingbwas shoved into her. A thought always seemed to nag at her mind, but that was it. She sighed.
