JiHyun's eyes flickered from person to person. She really did want to fight; her blood boiled at the thought of battle. However, guarding the camp was probably her best shot this time around. She knew she still had a lot of training to do, and staying back might help. Her gaze landed on Lucia, and she nodded in her consciousness. "I- I'll stay behind, I guess.." Her heart felt kind of empty, but she tried to fill it with thoughts of: At least you're helping! and There are so many things that could go wrong at camp. There has a to be a strong one here! She let out a small sigh, big enough to escape her, but small enough that no one could hear. (Citrine)
Sanaa frowned, getting to her feet while Val was shuffling out of the little ruins that were left now that the illusion was gone. She turned, looking back at Naomi. Her father was moving to leave, but Sanaa paid him no attention when she saw her girlfriend slowly fall to the right. Catching her quickly, Sanaa could see her unfocused eyes. The room seemed to grow colder. Oh great, she was about to most likely say a prophecy, and Sanaa felt like punching her father again. She was sure that he had known it would happen.
Holding Naomi as good as possible, she listened to her words (the voice was hers, but Sanaa still felt like it wasn't Naomi speaking):
" The land of the north awaits. Tyranny once controlled by fates.
A group of an uncommon size. Will find the weapons of the wise. And wander far into unknown, To find the tyrants' home.
Trust emotions to pave the way, But be cautious or you'll be lead astray, Before the moon turns red, One will be found dead.
Be warned, a mislead friend lies in your arms To destroy the city of the gods, their sacrifice will be Armies lye in wait, prepare to be stormed Unless, of course, the moon can hear your calls.
In death's eyes, find no fright. Aid him to find the weapon of the night. Mist magick will follow you, See through the past and towards the new."
It was a long prophecy, honestly. Sanaa hadn't heard one this long before. Even now, it sounded a little incomplete. Usually, they included a little hint for the campers that had to go.
While the silence lingered, Ian decided to break it. "So, nice poem, but what..."
Naomi coughed in Sanaa's arms, which drew a concerned look from the latter. "That was a prophecy, Ian. I'm not sure what I said, but still." Sanaa shook her head, telling her that she had to rest soon. "Sanaa, I'll be fine," she added.
Sanaa sighed a little, feeling even more tired after that little episode. Though, when she turned her head to tell her father a piece of her mind, he was already gone, leaving them behind in the ruins alone.
Noel hissed when he got knocked backwards, but easily caught himself. He was about to attack again when something else caught his attention. That fact was honestly shocking. "...don't mean to cut this short, but I can't see anybody else around anymore. Perhaps we should check the pavilion before we miss anything." He grimaced after having said so much in one go. Still, Noel kept his defensive stance, just in case they decided to continue the fight.
The moment the chimera got a little drowsy (Alex had to focus to shake that drowsiness off as well), Alex aimed for a weak spot. He moved slowly towards the right angle, then quickly struck. The chimera saw him coming, but reacted too late. Burying his sword where he believed its heart was, Alex drew a shrill yowl from it. He winced, but kept going. He closed his eyes, willing the sound away.
Finally, when he opened them again, all that was left was a pile of dust. A small, almost hysteric laugh bubble from Alex's throat when he saw that. He let himself fall backwards and landed on his behind, running a hand through his hair. "We... defeated it."
Nick smiled at her answer, but Lucia beat him to a reply. The blonde girl leaned over the table, holding a hand up for a high-five. "A big 'yeah!' for us staying behind, then! We're gonna need as many people as possible! Just imagine if the goddess sends monsters here while the others are gone!" She smile at JiHyun.
Nick nodded, then got up. He had to tell the rest. The easiest way would be if he told everybody at one. Nick wasn't a fan of having all of the attention focused on him, but he could manage.
Walking over to Chiron, he quickly filled him in. The centaur nodded, accepting his suggesting. Then, he raised a fork to his glass and beat it against the glass, creating noise. Nick tapped his knee nervously when the attention shifted towards him. No going back now.
Smiling calmly, he stepped a bit forward. "Sorry for interrupting your dinner. However, after reviewing our plans, I think it would be better if we started our rescue mission a few hours earlier. This isn't because people are itching to fight, rather it's because we're concerned that something may happen to the kidnapped campers otherwise. If everybody signals their okay, we'll start the preparations around half an hour after dinner."

JiHyun nodded, offering Lucia a small smile. She smacked the other girl's hand, a loud clap coming from the contact. "Of course!" A fire blazed in her eyes. "I'm ready to kick those monster's butts as soon as they near CHB!!" She emphasized her excitement, her eyes growing wide as she spoke. She heard the clink of a fork against glass. Looking back at the source of noise, she saw Chiron with Nick. Announcement about the change of plans, she guessed. JiHyun confirmed her answer when she actually heard the notification. She smiled once more, knowing she was a part in this course of action.
"Yeah that's fine with me..." Chevy had only taken notice that any camper around them granted that they were far odd were heading towards the pavilion which of course could mean that something major was going to happen or that they needed to hear as normally she would have kept on fighting but with everything currently going on around here it only made sense for them to go to the pavilion, "Maybe there going out sooner? Or that everyone happens to love the food..."
----
"Thank the gods..." Nathan muttered under his breath as he let himself sink down against one of the walls which he knew that Alex did most of the fighting but sometimes even trying to lull a monster to sleep drained some energy plus harder the fact that his head was starting to throb again made him worn out, "At least we're still alive, then my sis can kill me." He of course was referring to his mortal sister Daisy that had freaked out after him retelling the incident last year to the point that she wanted to go with him but somehow he and his father managed to convince her otherwise yet she warned him that if anything happens that she would personally see to him being 'grounded' despite him being too old for that.
Satoru had stopped talking when he heard a click of glass that sounded from the Hades Camper Nick who announced the change of plans as he felt a little sick to his stomach for some odd reason, he knew that they were going to rescue the kidnapped campers and possibly defeat his godly mother but the latter he started to have a mixture of emotions from anger to sorrow, from wanting to learn more to desping the goddess that had hurt his friends and his family.

Minerva turned when the sound reached her ears. Her conversation with the boy ceased, and the two of them shifted in their seats. Minerva watched the people, paying close attention to their announcement. Upon hearing about the early plans, Minerva pursed her lips. She was worried that theu were going into this without much thought. She shook it off when she remembered that she hadn't bothered talking to them about it, so it was on her. She had to trust them, and she would. Minerva trusted them with a lot of her heart.
To everybody: should we skip to them getting ready for the rescue mission?))
Lucia grinned, raising her glass which was filled with water. "That's the spirit! Cheers!" she laughed, watching Nick out of the corner of her eyes. Nick was smart and skilled, she doubted that he'd move in without much thought. Still, she wondered if the rest he had been forced to take had been enough to cure his injuries. Proud people were way too hard to read at times; they tried their best to hide any weakness.
Noel nodded, lowering his sword. He put it back into its sheath, then began walking towards the pavilion without another word. His head was still hurting a little from when Pippa had hit him, but a headache really wasn't the worst he'd had. They were demigods, it was almost normal for them to get hurt. Still, a headache was annoying.
Chevy switched the mallet into its pen form and attaching it to her sleeve before following after her brother towards the pavilion as she hoped that whatever the news was that it was some good news or relative somewhat good news at least, she pretty much ignored the small cuts on her arms that she received from his attack with the sword which she had to admit was cool- it was curved instead of straight like some of the swords here but everyone had their preferred weapon like hers was a golf club in height mallet that she used to smash, strike or swing at her opponents and in her opinion it was very effective.

Nick took a deep breath. They were just outside the tunnels at this point. He was still wearing his normal camp shirt with a jacket. While some kind of armor would have provided a lot of well needed defense, Nick had opted out of wearing any to keep his flexibility. He and Prue had to map the place out for the others to follow, so he wanted to be ready for any ambush that could be thrown their way.
Glancing at his sister, Nick said, "Prue, ready to go? We'll have to move in first before the others can follow."
Lucia finished putting some of her protection on, grinning at all the campers that had stayed behind. "Alright, guys, let's rock this defense mission!" she said with a slight giggle. Part of her was worried about the campers that had gone on the actual rescue mission, but they all had their part to play.
With that in mind, she put a hand to her hip, grinning. "Anybody have a specific place they want to guard in mind?~"

(Citrine, Henry & Satoru are staying back to guard. Chevy's on the rescue mission :3)
Prue looked into the entrance of the cave as she wore the same attire expect with a small leather chest plate to have some protection but it was light enough so that she could still be flexible in fight since that's what you needed in closed in spaces granted this wasn't her first time fighting in a cave, "I'm ready."
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”
Nick nodded softly, then moved forward, entering the cave. It took his eyes a second to adjust, but then he was on the move again, glancing at Prue. "We'll have to be ready for any kind of ambush. Who knows what lives in here," he warned quietly. He figured that Prue did know that, but he still wanted to remind her. If they weren't careful, they could very much die. Nick personally wasn't afraid of that, but he didn't want to drag Prue with him.
He drew his sword quietly, just in case of an attack.
--
Noel leaned against a tree, playing with a strap on his chest plate. They had to wait until Prue and Nick gave the signal for them to move in. Noel didn't really mind waiting, but he was itching for a fight. Not to mention, the two children of Hades could die and they would be none the wiser, waiting for their signal for forever. He shook his head, letting out a small sigh. The signal would come; he wouldn't be pessimistic for now.
"Right," Prue said with her knowing full well that anything could be hidding in the dark but so could they as she drew out her own weapon that shortened to the length of small sword to better be use in close quarters in the cave and she followed quietly after her brother into the cave with her eyes soon adujusting to the darkness, she was claustrophobic but she if she didn't 'see' the walls closing in then it didn't bother her as much.
----
Chevy waited outside of the cave with her brother and the others that were on the rescue mission as she was perched up on a fallen log as her mallet was out from its pen form resting on the ground with her holding the handle up towards the sky, "I hope it doesn't take them long..." she hated to be sitting still or doing nothing as she twirled one of her pigtails out of boredom with her violet eyes looking around at everything around them to see if anything strange caught her eye.
----
"Not really," Henry replied to Lucia as he stayed behind because he was one of the few that could keep his cabin under control plus that if anything happened to them he would feel guilty and responsible so staying here to protect everyone in case monsters did attack them again.
Satoru wondered if he would be protecting to or staying closer to the cabins, he wasn't sure what his role was really at the moment besides staying in camp.
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”
Nick halted for a moment when the tunnel gave way into a little cave, but then relaxed. "Seems normal enough," he muttered, stepping farther inside. "Still, we should be careful; these tunnels were surely once used by giant ants. I wouldn't want to have a run-in with any of them." Now that they were a bit father inside, Nick pulled something out of his pocket. It seemed like some kind of average glow stick, but the moment he bent it, the room got illuminated with a light much stronger than any normal glow stick could produce. "Thank the gods for the Hecate cabin," he joked with a grin.
"Ready to go on, Prue?"
-
Noel glanced over at his sister. He had to agree with her, as waiting was the last thing he wanted to do now. However, he simply shook his head. "I don't think it'll take them that long. I think the goddess wants this fight." His eyes narrowed a little when Joshua announced that the first glow stick had been placed inside the cave. Joshua himself was needed both at the camp and during their mission, so he was going to stay around until they moved in and then rejoin the others at the camp.
--
Lucia smiled at Henry, then nodded. "Alright. How about you take the edge of the forest, Henry? I think your traps could be useful there," she suggested. Lucia wasn't really used to 'leading' people, but she tried her best. "Katie, would you mind going with Henry?"
Katie nodded, but didn't speak up. That wasn't all too uncommon, though; she was a rather shy person.
Lucia glanced towards Satoru and some other campers. "So, I mean, I wasn't announced leader, but I think anybody under the age of 13 shouldn't be fighting," she said carefully.
Prue wondered how big some of these tunnels were but figured that she might have to duck a little to get past if it became smaller as she could see her brother kneel down for a moment and take something like a glowstick out that unlike a normal one glowed much stronger and even if she liked the dark sometimes having light was good- espiecalky when you didn't want to hit your head against the ceiling, "I'm ready," ------
"Then we'll give her a fight she'll never forget! Granted she's the goddess of memory so she probable can't forget it...or unless she make herself forget but that would be strange and now I'm blabbering on...." Chevy said at first with a grin on her face as she then trailed off again and straying a little from the subject which was completely normal by her standards, she did a short attention span if she was extremely bored.
-----
"Sounds like a plan," Henry said with a mischievous grin coming across his face at the mention of traps- completely forgot about them plus some of em might have something in them or neeed to be repaired, "Lets go." He then added to the camper Katie who he knew was rather a shy person or rather he didn't blame her for not speaking up- when having a million eyes staring at you from a crowd and being singled out to do something- he only got over it since he liked the spotlight in some cases or hid in case a prank backfired.
Satoru of course had a little frown on his face as he knew that he couldn't fight properly yet, "Then what should we- under 13 do in the time being?" He asked simply because he might have the guts to follow if he didn't have something productive here to to in helping the older campers but then again he was fighting himself mentally- he knew fully well he was both too young and inexperienced in fighting but apart of him literally told him to take a chance then it would fall right back to the smart way all along before him second-guessing himself.
