I'm not doing anything with Pascal or Freya right now, though the rescue mission is starting, so I mean, I'm sure you could interact with most people haha))
Nick nodded, then moved on. He made sure to stay in front of Prue while they were walking. It was a habit he had taken on; he felt responsible for anybody with him. Still, he couldn't actually feel any approaching threat in front of them, which was a little odd. He was aware that the goddess wanted the fight, but he had imagined her to at least put up some sort of trap. Then again, how were they supposed to defeat her?
Nick frowned a little while he put the next glow stick down. "Prue, you don't have any magical connection to a god to ask them for a blessing, do you?" he asked, despite already knowing the answer. "We can't actually do much without the help of a god." However, did they even want to kill her? A part of Nick said yes, but another part of him was aware that it could cause trouble. What would happen if she died? She was the goddess of memories, which didn't sound like something that should be left unattended for.
--
Noel couldn't help but snort a little. He turned his head so that Chevy wasn't on the blind side of his vision, then shook his head. "As long as nobody dies..." he muttered. What if a kidnapped camper was already dead? That would be a real bummer for everybody. A successful rescue mission only to end up finding somebody dead? Yeah, that wasn't high on anybody's list. Noel couldn't help but pity the Hades campers a little. They felt when somebody died and during a fight, that had to be distressing.
--
Katie bit her lip, but followed Henry regardless. She kept one of her hands on her sheathed rapier, just in case of an attack. "Do you actually think the c-camp will b-b-be attacked?" she asked after a few moments, glancing out towards the forest. She had her doubts. Of course, putting up traps regardless was a good idea.
Lucia smiled a little sheepishly, scratching the back of her head. She wasn't meant to be giving orders, really. She wanted to give that part back to other campers. "You could, uh..." she started, not sure what to say. Telling them to stay in the cabins wasn't going to be a good idea, was it? "You could help out some campers staying here? I'm sure some Apollo or Hephaestus campers could use some help. They're preparing first aid kits and weapons just in case."
As a notice: considering we are nearing the end of this thread, I'll list the inactive people who will be removed on the new thread. ♛Sera♛ , נιηχχє∂ , ScarletteBlake , if any of you still want your characters to move onto the new thread when I make it, please reply. Otherwise they'll get treated like they couldn't manage to show up to camp that year))

"No," Prue replied as she figured that he was the same as how could they defeat a goddess- even if she is a minor one without the help of another? As they walked deeper in did she feel like there would be traps set for them in here but they hadn't come across any so far, "What if she's just lulling us into a state of feeling secure down here then attacking?" She gave a suggestion which she was trying to think like Mynesome to figure out the plan yet how could you find a goddess that knows everything about you and has been alive for eons with all the time to come up with a perfect trap for them... yet it didn't work last year and this year wasn't going to be different.
----
Chevy froze a little with her then nodding, "Yeah..." she didn't like death at all especially if she was close to them and she didn't want to come across another ally like that again but then they were demigods, the died young and some lucky enough to live to the age of thirty or so. "They gotta be okay..." she seemed a little more gloomy at even the thought of it before shaking her head as if getting rid of any images from her head.
---
"No but better be safe then sorry." Henry said before holding up what looked like a fire cracker in his hands that he had been made by a Hephaestus camper but had Hecate camper's magic in it, "In case they do try to attack camp this will be a way to tell everyone." He figured that since he couldn't let anyone know by making it thunder he might as well do one of the things he always does best- blow something bright up in the air but the only difference was that it wouldn't land on any of the cabins.
----
Satoru nodded as this wasn't something that he could do since he liked to organize he could help the Apollo campers make the kits or even the Hephaestus campers with weapons if the former had too many campers working on it, "Okay." He said but gave the Zeus camper a reassuring thumbs up since he figured she needed to have her spirits lifted figuratively plus she was telling campers where to go and seemed somewhat unsure.

Sorry for being inactive. I'm done with school more or less now, so I should have more time to post again))
Nick shrugged as they moved forward, keeping his eyes on the darkness up ahead. "She could've killed us already. I'm guessing we're close, though. I have a bad feeling. I think once we're facing her, we'll have to hold our own against her while the others move in." As if on cue, Nick suddenly felt the ground beneath them shift a little downwards. He adjusted his footing and carefully slid down the small downwards slide. He straightened up, but then seemed a little alert.
Up ahead, torches seemed to be lining the walls and lighting up a cave. He signaled for Prue to follow, then quietly went towards it, keeping his sword drawn.
The cave they emerged in wasn't all that special, aside from the fact that part of the ceiling was cracked open, giving them a glimpse of the forest above. It was larger than any other cave he had seen in these tunnels so far. If he had to guess, he would have estimated its size around the size of a football field. In the middle of it, a woman stood. She was taller than Nick, but that wasn't all that surprising. However, when her eyes met his, Nick felt a shiver run down his spine.
He tried to search for the button Joshua had given him secretly. It was to alert the others that they could move in. Still, when he found it and pressed it, the goddess finally spoke up. "My, children of Hades always have such sad memories, don't they?" Her smile seemed fake. Honestly, something about the whole goddess seemed off, but Nick wasn't about to sit around and talk about that over some tea.
Before he could move, a harpy attacked him from behind. He barely managed to get his sword up to block in time. "Prue, there seems to be a whole flock of those. We have to take care of them."
Noel's head snapped up a little when Joshua called out that they were going to move in now. A small smirk appeared on his face for a second, but he wiped it off of it quickly. "...let's go," he told Chevy, pushing himself off the tree. Their rescue team was already starting to move into the tunnels, so Noel fell into step behind some other campers. There was a high chance of Nick and Prue getting attacked right now, so they had to move quickly. Noel outwardly appeared like he didn't care all that much, but he honestly didn't like the thought of any of them getting seriously injured or dying.
Katie nodded slowly, biting her lip. "M-makes sense," she replied quietly. Henry was younger than her, but she still had trouble talking to him. That's what she got for not really interacting with some campers before, wasn't it? She played with the handle of her rapier a little, furrowing her brows. "Hopeful-fully they all come back," she added as an afterthought. It wasn't unrealistic for somebody to die, sadly.
Prue had been about to reply to Nick before the floor suddenly shifted downwards with her easily readjusting her footing to slide down before then following quietly after her brother until they reached a larger cave compared to the others they had been in and the center stood the goddess herself as she felt her fingers grow tighter on her hold of the weapon which she felt a shiver go down her spine when her eyes meet her own, "Right-" she began to say before dodging another attack from a harpy as the weapon grew from its short sword height until it was the same height as its owner that expertly swung at the monster that jumped backwards to avoid. Something seems off...but what?
----
"Yep, time to play hero and possibly whack-a-monster." Chevy said in glee but that was to hide the fact that she was somewhat scared as she followed the rescue team into the cave with her weapon slung over her shoulders however ready to strike if need be.
----
Henry was somewhat quiet since he never really had thought about it before, "They'll come back." He managed to come up with at least that as he pocketed the makeshift rocket and taking out his main weapon that was a dagger in case threats approached them once nearing the intended area which so far is good but even he knew better then to fall into the lull of safety- he knew that monsters could be unpredictable in their attacks from experience.
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”
Nick moved back, parrying a swipe towards his throat with a small smile. He hadn't had that rush of adrenaline for a while now. While he wasn't one to thrive on adrenaline, it did make him feel pretty light right now. Normal body reaction, really, and he knew they'd be in trouble once the rush was over. Still, for now it made it easier to fight.
Nick dodged to the side, burying his sword deep in the harpy. It turned to dust and he moved on, trying to spot the goddess. He couldn't see her, though. He frowned and was about to ask Prue if she could see her, but stopped dead in his tracks, eyes going wide. At the edge of the cave, he could see a girl with black hair and green eyes. She smiled at him, beckoning him closer. A part of Nick was screaming at him that it was an illusion, that she knew what their loved ones look like. Another part was trying to make him move towards her. Before he could think more about it, the cave was suddenly filled with footsteps and a battle cry.
When Nick turned, he saw the rest of the campers running into battle.
--
Alex slowly moved on, looking over his shoulder at Nathan. "C'mon, let's move on. I'm sure we're close. Maybe we can get out of here," he said, though he swayed a little while walking. It was funny to him that the first thing he thought was that they really had to take a shower. Smiling a little, Alex stumbled up ahead through a tunnel, sword still drawn.
They had made it back to the harbor on time to still catch the next ship home. Sanaa sighed, letting herself fall back onto a chair in a general room. Not many people were on the ship, and that was just fine with Sanaa. They prophecy still wouldn't let her go. It had sounded big, but also incomplete. Of course her father hadn't stayed around to explain that. The gods never did.
There were some good things that had come out of their trip, though. Across from her, Ian was sitting, looking around with a big grin. He'd never been out of the country, apparently. Part of Sanaa was hoping that he wouldn't cause any trouble, but then again, he had helped them out quite a lot, so she guessed that it was fine for now. He would probably stay at the camp the whole year, because of a lack of mortal family.
Prue after many strikes finally turned the harpy she was fighting to dust with a blow to the head as she glanced over at where the goddess stood only to have her eyes widen in shock as she saw a woman with very dark brown almost black hair and kind brown eyes that the figure she only knew from pictures, before she could do anything really a battle cry sounded from the tunnel with the rescue team arriving in now. Is she- no she's tricking us... illusion...memories...
-----
"That sounds like a charming idea." Nathan tried to make a joke as she stood up from his spot and using the wall of the cave to support himself up as he wondered if they would think that they had turned into zombies... hopefully Chevy wasn't down here and she would actually make a terrifying one but he let the image slide from his mind and he tried to keep a focus on things from his breathing to following Alex.

Once everyone was settled in on board, Valentine took an opportunity to speak with Ian. They hadn't known him for long, and she wouldn't mind getting to know him personally, especially since he had agreed to come with them. She strode over, lightly bumping his shoulder with her own as she stood next to him. "You excited?" Val asked, looking up with stars in her eyes. For her, camp was an escape, the eye of the storm in her daily life. She wasn't exactly sure how Ian would take to it, though.
Pippa followed after the two Dionysus campers with no weapon to defend herself. But she still felt.. calm. As if, when the time came, she would easily be able to defend herself and her friends. However, that didn't mean she felt no fear. She was horribly worried about the disasters that lay ahead of them, minutes, even seconds away.
Nick took the opportunity of the others arriving to go after the goddess. Of course they couldn't kill her, but he could still inflict damage. Not to mention, surely everybody wanted to fight a battle against somebody immortal, right? He scoffed a little at that thought, then quickly dodged a harpy that came after him.
The goddess seemed to be focused on somebody else when Nick saw her, so he quickly moved in for an attack, swinging his sword at her. It was a hit, which made her cry out. Nick saw the golden blood seep out for a second, but then the wound began to close again. He frowned a little, but kept his offensive stance. She couldn't just let him attack her without attacking him as well, could she?
His answers was her letting something like a long knife or dagger appear. Getting stabbed by that seemed painful, but it didn't intimidate Nick. So the moment she moved forward to attack, he moved backwards, using his sword to parry the attack.
--
Noel stabbed one of the harpies. However, he stayed alert, as there was always the possibility of one attacking from the blind side of his vision. It was a little bothersome at times like this, but he could manage just fine. He glanced at Chevy for a second, making sure that she was alright. Then, he disappered into the battlefield again. The only thing that stopped him from attacking the next harpy was Pippa. He'd just now spotted her and the fact that she seemed to have no weapon was quite annoying. "Why don't you have a weapon?" he asked. "You're just dead weight without one, like most other people would be."
Alex took a deep breath when they reached the edge of the tunnel. There was a small ledge, but another tunnel seemed to continue below it. He grimaced a little. "You think we could jump off without hurting ourselves?" he asked Nathan, inching forward. Alex bent down, looking over the ledge. "It could be safe if we let ourselves hang off the ledge at first and then let go, I think." Still, he just wanted to be out of these stupid tunnels at this point.
Ian looked over at Val, grinning. "Sure am! Gonna be something new, right? But I guess that may end my legacy as an alley cat?" he replied, joking a little at the end. Honestly, Ian wasn't really sure what to expect, but it had sounded better than staying back in Greece. There was free food at the camp, how could he have said no? "Do I have any siblings at the camp?" he added as an afterthought.
Naomi found herself standing next to Sanaa, going over the prophecy words in her head. Naomi couldn’t ignore that Sanaa was right, the prophecy she had said..was incomplete. She had an idea of what was missing but..maybe it was her being silly, but she truly didn’t want to think about what was missing from the prophecy. Instead she pushed those thoughts aside in favour of wondering how the camp was faring.
“...Sooo…” Naomi began, looking over at Sanaa awkwardly shuffling on her feet. Not entirely sure where to go, “It’s great to be heading back...right?”.
Naomi really, REALLY, hoped that didn’t come out as awkward as it had sounded in her head. But with her luck it probably did.
Sanaa had been lost in thoughts, feeling almost sick with the worry for her brother. So when Naomi spoke up, that snapped her out of her thoughts. She almost jumped a little, then shook her head to get rid of the thoughts. "Yeah. Hopefully the camp has everything under control by now.... If not, I'll march into that forest and fight that goddess myself," she replied, furrowing her brows a little. "If she hurts Alex or any of the other campers, I'll make her regret it."
Sanaa considered most of the campers at the camp part of her family, so she would fight until death for them. Probably even for Asher. After thinking that, she scoffed with a small smile. Something would be missing in her life once she stopped attending camp.
Prue was going to go after the goddess to help her brother however her path was soon blocked by two harpies which she wasn't going to let two monsters keep her from him- as counselor of their cabin she was obliged to keep them safe which to her she had failed their younger brother but she wasn't going to let down another, she swung her weapon straight at them with them darting to either side of her as if to distract though she managed to keep both at bay by the sheer force and length that the glaive was. They keep on coming!
She watched as the rescue team started to fight the harpies which she blocked a blow from one by slicing the hand completely off which earned a scream that was a mixture between a bird and human that was only silenced by the glaive delivering a killing blow that turned it into dust but she mange did to glance back at Nick and the goddess to see the latter had sported either a long dagger or sword. --
Chevy swung down at any unlucky harpy that got in her way however many did as it either killed them or knocked them to the ground for a moment, "Where'd they all come from any-way!" She might have emphasized the last word yet she was currently swinging the mallet once more at another monster since the only tunnel she had noticed was the one they had come in from granted she wasn't paying much attention to her surroundings but luckily campers were smart or knew her fighting style to not be near whenever she's about to hit home run.
---
"Maybe...." Nathan said awhile looking down at the ledge that Alex pointed out which he figured that they still will get more cuts, bruises or scraps from this since he of course was the one that would point these things but currently all he wanted to do was get out if here and be able to see Lucia again- even if he looked, more or less smelled like someone that crawled out of the sewers and that wasn't a good thing plus his head was killling him. "Only one way to find out."
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count, but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”

Valentine chuckled, looking out across the sea. She had always adored it, even from afar--her mother had done her best to keep her from it. "Yes, I suppose you won't be living in a box anymore." She glanced over as he asked, pursing her lips in thought. "You have a sister. Her name is Lisianthus. She's a little hot-headed, but a good person once you get to know her."
((I'm gonna do a thing since the whole "finding-her-mom-and-powers" thing was cancelled))
Pippa could only offer him a sheepish smile and a shrug as an answer. It's not that she didn't realize she was dead weight, but there must be something she could do. Just as she thought this, a winged crazy lady--a harpy, she remembered--flew in on Noel's bad side. She winced, he was distracted talking to her. Pippa had no time to yell, she went with her gut feeling and jumped in front of him, ready to be struck with pain.
To her surprise, there was nothing. Opening her eyes, she saw a transparent wall of ice that the harpy had slammed into, frozen, and immediately dropped to the ground with a horrible shattering noise. She was silent from the shock, then murmured, "Oh my gods." The ice melted and another harpy flew at them. This time, Pippa flung her hand in that direct, and an icicle pierced the heart of the monster. Throwing her head back, she smiled at Noel with an ecstatic look, as if to say, I accomplished something! Aren't you proud of me?
Nick moved backwards, keeping his eyes on the goddess. Her eyes were oddly guarded, something Nick wouldn't have expected from the mastermind behind the whole plan. Was she waiting for something? But what for?
Nick ducked to the side as she attacked him once more. Her attacks weren't the most skilled, if he was being honest. They lacked a certain level of preciseness that usually came about when somebody wasn't used to fighting. The only real thing he could remember about Mnemosyne was that she had made a throne that helped with one of Apollo's oracles. Other than that, Nick couldn't think about any real information.
"Doesn't it hurt to return?" she asked him. "Doesn't it remind you of the person dearest to you? She left the world young, didn't she?"
Nick went in for an attack of his own, trying to ignore her words. It was obvious that she won fights by talking, and not through any special fighting abilities.
"Then again, perhaps you are clinging onto the little family you have left here. Monsters decided on your path early on by killing your parents, did they not?"
Their weapons met in the middle, and Nick glared at her. "I'm not sure what to tell you, but it's not going to help you out in fighting me. Yeah, most of my family is dead, I'm aware of that. So, what's your point?" Of course he knew what she was getting at, but he wouldn't let it bother him. Instead, he twisted his sword around, hitting her arm.
"Rather," Nick continued. "I have this feeling you are following orders and not actually doing this on your own."
--
Alex nodded. "Yeah, only one way," he agreed. Carefully, he let himself hang over the ledge, his arms protesting against the effort. He felt a little sick, but shook it off before letting go. Part of him was scared that he'd break something, but then again, they really needed to get out.
Instead of breaking something, Alex just felt a little pain in his ankles after landing. It wasn't like he had actually injured himself though, as the pain quickly stopped. While he was about to call up to Nathan, he suddenly paused. He could hear sounds up ahead. It sounded like some kind of fight was going on. Of course it would be too early to jump to a conclusion, but Alex felt his heart lifting of some of his worries. It sounded like the camp had attacked. He couldn't wait to see Asher again.
"Nathan, it's safe," he called up. "You can come down here."
Ian tried to repeat the name of his sister, but failed. "Wow, ok, that's something I have to get used to," he replied with a laugh. "I'm glad that I have a sister. Must be lonely otherwise, right?" He hoped that he wasn't stepping on anybody's toes while saying that, but it hadn't sounded like any of them didn't have siblings. He was looking forward to the camp... and the food.
Shaking his head a little, he turned back to Val. "Anything you're looking forward to once we're back?"
--- Noel raised his eyebrows, looking a bit dumbfounded. Did Pippa develop ice powers? That was... odd. Wasn't there this goddess who also had ice powers? Well, at least her constant whining about not knowing her parent would be gone.
"Keep your guard up," he finally said, attacking another harpy. The problem he could see was that Pippa would overestimate her new powers. He had done the same when he had first found out that he could make the grape vines grow. It hadn't ended well. Part of him had wanted to thank her for helping him out, but he wasn't about to say that aloud.

Valentine looked over, suddenly struck by his question. Was there something she was looking forward to? Seeing Alex again--he had to be safe. Then again, she doubted she'd be able to even say hello if Asher was there. She definitely wasn't looking forward to that constant nightmare. She'd be back in America, with her friends, in her tiny cabin that smelled like the ocean. With a smile, she answered, "I'm looking forward to being home."
Pippa nodded, a little dissapointed by his lack of enthusiasm--then again, she always had been. "R-Right." She stammered, putting a shield up around herself and Noel as debris from the battle was flung their way. Afterwards, she would have to study her newfound powers, and what deity they linked to. Maybe she could finally find her mother.
