With: Russetpaw Grayleaf was still sitting on the ground inside the medicine den when Russetpaw entered. This part was only the area where patients were seen to and where she slept each night. The rest of it was in the very back. That was where all the herbs were stored. "Well, this is your new den. This part here is just the main part. It's where patients are tended to, and it's where they sleep if they are too sick or hurt to sleep in their normal dens. You've seen this part before, I'm sure," Grayleaf explained. ( cr0wt00th) |

Russetpaw Russetpaw nodded. He'd been in here a few times as a kit, all for getting in play fights with unsheathed claws. Even if he was going to train with herbs and the stars, he still liked the thrill of fighting. But that doesn't mean battles are good, he reminded himself. "So we sleep back there?" he asked, flicking his tail towards the back of the den. "With the herbs?" ( ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞)

With: RussetpawGrayleaf shook her head. "Sort of, but sort of not. We sleep closer to the back, but not right where the herbs are. We wouldn't want our nests there because that would take up space that could be used for storing herbs. Come, and I'll show you where the nests are. I went ahead and made yours for you," she said. She lead the way until she got to the two beds of moss. Russetpaw's nest was fresher than her own, since she had just gathered the moss before the ceremony. Therefore, it was easy to tell whose was whose. ( cr0wt00th) |

With: RussetpawGrayleaf watched as Russetpaw tested out his new bed. "I hope it's comfy enough for you. Let's go ahead and move on to the rest of the den, though. It's probably more interesting to you than your bed," she purred. The ageing gray she-cat led the way towards the back. By this point, you could clearly see the herbs. With: RussetpawGrayleaf wasn't really surprised at Russetpaw's question about how many herbs there were, but it was still a good question to ask. There were quite a few of them, so many, in fact, that it was hard to give an exact number. Even as an experienced medicine cat, she did not know the answer at the top of her head. "Let's just say there are quite a few," she said before moving on, "See the piles in the back? They're getting pretty low." She said this as she gestured with her tail toward the piles of marigold and tansy leaves. ( cr0wt00th) |

Since we are low, we will be going to gather those today. I just wanted to show you what they looked like first so you know what we are looking for," she informed Russetpaw before asking, "Do you think you can remember how they look?"( cr0wt00th) |
