Noah He looked at the lady surprised. "Why were you meant to die, if you don't mind me asking?" He said rather flushed in the face. Barely anyone talked to him and he never really talked except to say what he had caught or asking where Ava was. Noah ran a hand through his dark hair and sat down on his bed with a hand on Ava's shoulder. She seemed to be getting warmer.

Hrafn Bjorn | Hunter | 14 Hrafn tossed her knife up and caught the bright blade. The few knives she had slipped past security were crucial to her survival, with only three. One had a reddish tinge, she didn't know where from, the other two were just bright, cold steel. Her belt had all sorts of gadgets for hunting, and she often let her hand wander to the sheath that was attached to the leather. Standing on the ground, without a cloak on, she just watched the snow. The glittering white was mesmerising.

Emma Pelletier Emma looked at Noah, cocking her eyebrow. “ Ça te préoccupe vraiment? Do you really care?” She said in both English and French, leaning back. “I was born with a heart condition. Heart was too big, most likely going to explode. My parents wanted me to live so they were able to let me go in exchange for a new heart.” She shrugged. “It’s just how it is, life after the war. Not only would I get to survive, but my service would pay for my families meals. Then eventually, they promised me they’d give me back.” She looked away for a second, then snapped back into reality. “Not the problem though. Doesn’t matter much to talk about it.” She said it dismissively. “Luckily, nobody here needs intense surgery anytime soon.”
(Basically the govt gave Emma a heart so she’d become a spy for them, and after she worked off paying for her heart they’d send her family checks, Emma never saw any of it)

Noah Samuels He was rather surprised when Emma asked why he cared, but he hid the expression as she continued talking. Her life sounded tough, maybe that's why she wasn't like a normal teen girl. At the end of her little story, he was stupefied. Being trained as a soldier was tough work but endurable, but the things. Emma had gone through didn't sound nice at all. Noah aimed his dark blue eyes at the ground. "I'm glad Ava will never have to go through surgery anytime soon. As long as she doesn't run off again anyway." He paused and looked up. "Thanks for bringing her back."
Ava Samuels Ava was partly awake, but she just wanted to stay where she was because of the warmth.

Kass hadn't really thought that much about Emma not wanting Holly to be punished. It just didn't strike her attention that much until Benji brought it up. It was odd, but maybe Emma just didn't want Holly to get punished since nothing bad really happened, since at least Ava was found unharmed. "Perhaps Emma just thinks that since Ava was found unharmed, no punishment is warranted," she suggested. "Nevermind that for now, though. I think that maybe we should just not allow Holly to take the children anywhere alone anymore. At least not until we're sure she can be trusted with the job," she then said.

Benji Torres “Right. That’s what I’m saying. Have her bring Archie or something.” Benji rubbed his arm, and looked out the hut door. “How do we tell her? Do we announce it while we are doing a quick head count? Emma Pelletier Emma nodded. “It’s no problem. She’s a bit of a chatterbox.” Emma leaned back and yawned, closing her eyes. “If I hadn’t heard her wailing I probably wouldn’t of found her. Good thing I was around the end of the stream. She was hiding in a bush.” Emma opened her left eye, slightly smiling while she said this next line. “She’s got a tooth for juniper berries, hmm?” 🌹Jayjaycats🌹

Noah Samuels He chuckled softly. "Well I guess she's got a sweet tooth," he said smiling down at the child. He glanced up at Emma and saw her smiling. That was new, Noah had never seen the teen smile before.

As much as Kass didn't want to possibly humiliate Holly in front of the whole tribe, she knew that everyone must know that she can't be sent out with the children alone. Besides, actions have consequences. If Holly didn't want this to happen, then she should have paid closer attention to Ava and made sure she was with her at all times. "As much as I don't want to embarrass her, I think that it must be done. Maybe this will help her learn her lesson," Kass said. With that, she opened the door to her hut and headed back outside into the snow, assuming that Benji would follow. Once outside, Kassandra went to the fire pit, where meetings were held, and stood where everyone in sight could see her.

Once they had arrived back at the camp, Valerie stopped, cheeks flushed from the cold. She stopped to take the camp in, a curiously tilt to her head as she saw Kassandra gather where meetings were held. "Well, seems like we made it back on time fooooor... whatever this is gonna be!" she told Hero, giving her a smile. She couldn't help but wonder what had happened, though, for Kassandra to do that while it was pretty cold outside.

Benji Torres Benji followed Kassandra, nodding. "Yeah." Hero replied, before gathering near Kass. I don't know what this is, but it looks important. She thought to herself, giving the back of her neck an itch and playing with her hands in her pocket. She saw Hagon stop working on the roof and walked over to her, then stand next to her.

Noah Samuels Noah sighed, raking a hand through his hair. "Well we better join them, Ava you stay warm and cozy am I'll tell you everything when I get back." Noah exited the hut and gathered around Kass and Benji.
Ava Samuels Ava nodded sleepily as he uncle left. Once Noah was outside she smiled at Emma. "I like seein' him talk to others."

Holly Bjorn | Caretaker | 26 Holly guessed that this was about her punishment. At least this wasn't Hrafn, who would probably leave with Kraka and leave the territory forever. She mentally knew that it would be something about her duties, as something like food or water would not teach her not to do that. For the first time in a while, she thought to a scar she recieved on her arm. It had been mostly that Holly had insulted Kraka, and Hrafn didn't particularly believe it was funny. A knife had flashed and caught her. Hrafn had snarled, "Never. Insult. My sister." It had cut deeper than expected, but Hrafn knew her anatomy. It never needed much them some disinfectant and a bandage. Scratching at the disfigured skin, she felt some pain slither up from that spot.
(My characters are waiting for a person, although I guess they are also in the general area of the fire... sort of)

First day and I’m already being picking out tonight’s meal Nick thought to himself a little in confusion, shock and the fact that the cook seemed to think he had some ideas for dinner this evening, “Uhh.... what about a stew?” He suggested which he recalled his great aunt saying that a good, hearty stew could keep away the chill and warm the soul. From what the young teen could tell they had enough to make one plus with the snow coming down now it seemed like a good meal in his opinion, he was honestly looking to Derrick for guidance and he so did not want to mess something like this up.
“Well as long that we keep an eye on everyone, the have a good meal and stay warm everything should be fine.” Samuel began to say which he gave a small nod in the direction of the cook’s hut with word getting around that Derrick got a new apprentice under his wing, he prayed that it would keep the kid in check and perhaps get him from doing foolish stunts. The man had spoken a bit too soon as the next thing he knew was Emma coming into camp with Ava- the young girl in her arms, the child was swiftly taken by Noah to his tent to warm up and the leader was talking to the caretaker. He was actually about to mutter something under his breath when he felt a small tug in his pant leg and nearly jumping out of his skin to see that it was Hector.
Hector: with Samuel and Sophia
Hector had gotten quickly bored in the caretakers hut, he noticed that his young friend was missing- perhaps that was why Holly left in search of her perhaps. I can help too! he thought to himself as he pulled on his jacket and sort of waddled on out to see what was going on, that and the fact the young kid did not want to be all by his lonesome. He saw Holly talking with the leader which it seemed serious so he decided he would see if there was someone else- bingo, he saw the two medics and quickly shuffled over to them. “Hola Sophia, Hola Sammy, have you seen Ava?” He asked with him looking at both of them. with the cutest face ever.

Derrick bobs his head up and down, nodding though appearing to not lean to the approval nor disapproval side. Not giving the boy much hints- I mean, the best way to learn is to do it right? "You ever made stew before?" He asked without really looking at him as he was still seem to be deep in thought, staring at all the ingredients.
"Chicken Stew sounds good?" They don't exactly have any other stew- and he wasn't entirely sure how a... deer stew would turn out...
"Rabbit stew also sounds pretty good..." He mumbles, staring at all the hunted animals and his eyes seem to shine at possible creations he can make, he seems to forgot that Nick was even there.

She immediately freeze, staring down at the child then looking back at the frozen girl. "U-um...! Have you check with the caretakers?" She kneels down next to him, forcing out a sweet smile, oh boy, I don't know what to say-
