Hagon worked on the roof to the children's hut and tried to figure out whether it was snow proof enough. He went over to where Kass and Kraka were. "I think the kids' hut needs more proofing." He said.

“Nope.” Nick replied honestly with him only really remembering how it smelled and tasted, he really hoped that he would learn how to make it- did not want to start his first time making a meal by making it taste like mud or sawdust. “Isn’t in basic terms just a bunch of ingredients thrown in together?” He then asked the cook although he wondered if Derrick was even listening to the teen anymore and seemed very deep in thought, rabbit stew actually did sound good and they should have some around, if not then maybe the hunters go out and grab some or they could make do with what they already had.
Hector and Samuel with Sophia
“There she is!” Hector not really knowing the full extent of what had just transpired, for all he could know was that his young friend was playing hide and seek with holly. He didn’t understand why the caretaker seemed upset- all the grown ups had some level of being upset or even a little mad at the caretaker. He saw his young friend being taken to one of the huts by the girl’s uncle and the french lady. “So.... Holly will have help with us?” He asked in some confusion at the mention of someone else helping to watch over the kids.
“Something like that kiddo, everything will be fine.” Samuel said to the kid although he had gritted his teeth in anger at the thought of the little girl by herself during a snowstorm. He was thankful at least that no one was injured during it although it was going to grow colder. “Sophia would you like to check on Emma or watch Hector?” He asked his fellow medic as he didn’t mind either way although the checkup on the young girl would just to make sure there wasn’t anything going on, frostbite could take off toes and fingers.
"Hmm...my favorite memory? I have too many to count,but i guess, it would be the memory of meeting all you and making friends here on the forums. :3" ”One day I’m going to sit down and make a list of all the books that I finished reading....” “It's going to be a long list...”

Hagon nodded, selecting an armful of medium sized stones, looking almost like a monkey while he worked. He put them down, outlining the hut with them, then returning to get more, to continue it.

Kassandra nodded and took the boughs from Kraka. She sat next to the younger tribemate and began to carefully weave the boughs together. It was a slow process, but Kassandra was managing just fine. As a person who spent time in the woods growing up, this wasn't an unfamiliar task to her. She'd often just picked up pine leaves like this and tried to intertwine them.

Benji Torres Benji walked over to Kassandra and Kraka, watching quietly as they worked. When he sort of understood the process they were going through, he sat down and tried to join them. The boughs kept popping together, receiving a “Dang it! Haha, oops.” from Benji everytime. He knew he’d get it eventually though. ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞ @aetherwyvern66
Emma Pelletier Emma looked at the kid, interested. “Ah. He seemed sociable when I talked to him today.” She said, borderline dismissively. “French is a complicated language. Some Americans will not like it when you speak it, concerning recent events.” She looked panicked for a split second, but then calmed down. If Ava didn’t know what was happening, she wasn’t going to say anything. “It’s true we will be able to talk without understanding, but some folks will think it’s rude.” Emma could always speak in perfect English, but sometimes she spoke words in French purely to show off the fact she was bilingual. “We can start with basic phrases, like How are you or Where are you from.” She leaned back a bit in her chair, realizing she had been sitting a bit stiffly. “If you’re committed, 45 minutes a day can lead you to speaking almost fluent French in, eh, five months? That’s a stretch however, unless you want to commit time on weekends. If you had closer to four hours then, maybe it’d be closer to three months.” Emma sat in her hut, not feeling like going out and helping the tribe. She wasn’t sociable and hated working with others, which wouldn’t help out in this case, so she stayed inside. The amount she talked to people overwhelmed her suddenly, and she wondered if she should break things off with Ava and go to her own hut. Emma then decided she’d just stick it out until Noah came back, then she’d go back to her hut. (🌹Jayjaycats🌹)
(Remember Elk hunting is extremely hard solo with a gun so it’d probably be better to hunt a deer for now just because Elk would take four people or maybe three since you definitely can’t outrun one, you’d have to corner it, in which case it’ll get defensive and violent and probably charge one of the hunters. Not recommended. I know you said you’re hunting a buck for right now so it’s fine but also remember you definitely can’t out run a buck either it’s not humanly possible)

Hagon was picking up rocks to surround all of the shelters, showing off his strength. When he had finished, since it was a simple task for one who had worked out for long periods of time each day, he went over to Kassandra and sat down to weave a part of the roof. "I put rocks around the bases if the shelters." He said. "Maybe it'll keep the snow melt out, and stop the wood from rotting."

Ava Samuels Ava sat up in the bed looking excited. Of course she had never heard of the wars and had very little knowledge of time, so she readily agreed. "I wanna learn French!" She giggled as she tried to say the word Emma had earlier told her. "Des Errues?"
Noah Samuels Noah noticed the prints of deer, so he followed. He watched quietly as the buck got startled and turned to something nearby. Hafrn. The girl seemed to think better of catching any of that herd and moved off. He too left the deers alone. There would be other times when the buck wasn't close by. Noah instead caught and killed a couple of rabbits. If Hafrn had caught a few other stuff that would be enough for the tribe, considering the other catches in camp.

'just a bunch of ingredients thrown together', next time someone says cabbage soup I'll put in a whole cabbage and a whole carrot." It was hard to tell if he was joking or not until he broke out into laughter. "But in some sense, you're right, not gonna lie, a decorated plate looks nice and all in restaurants, but right now? I guess it's pretty much that." He eventually sighs, he eventually picking up a few rabbits, and a few cabbages and carrots, a bit basic, but he can't waste ALL of the ingredients just for today can he? "Well, enough about that," He hopes dwelling about society again isn't going to bring the boy down by accident. "I'll let you wash and chop the veges." He winks with a smirk.
Sophia Lopez | 28 | Medic | Camp | With: Samuel Green and Hector ( Lily~Myth ) She watches the older man, then looked back at the poor girl. "I can look after Hector..." Besides, Mr Green seems to be very worried about Ava, she can let him take care of her! Plus, she likes to think she is good with kids. "Look after the girl, would you?" She know he would, but she couldn't help but feel anxious and worried about the child's health.

Emma Pelletier Emma did a soft laugh, she had gotten the word close enough. "Simple words like that are easy to teach, but getting it into sentences is the tricky part. That's why we are gonna stick to the basics like Bonjour and Comment vas-tu? These will help you get an idea of what the language is like before we dive in, yes?" She said, looking at the young girl.

Nick laughed when the cook did at his basic version of what a stew was, he listened to the man talk of the plan for tonight for dinner. For a brief moment the young teen was brought back to society and being with his twin, honestly he missed him and it was like missing apart of yourself. Several times since coming to this land he kept talking to the twin that wasn’t there much to the confusion of those around him. “Alright.” He snapped out of his thoughts and took the vegetables from the cook.
Hector Barrea: with Sophia
Hector seemed to understand what was going on that he stood closer to the female medic. “Ms Sophia? Can we go play in the snow or make a snowman?” He asked rather excitedly with the child looking up at her with him tugging his jacket closer to his small frame to keep out the cold, however he was bored and rather wanted to go play a game or go do something. Sammy is going to check on Ava but she is going to be okay, Sammy is a funny guy and Sophia is really nice! he thought to himself.
“Will do,” Samuel replied to his fellow medic with a little bit a grin then heading over to where he had seen the child being taken to, “Knock, knock... may the doctor come in?” He then joked as he peeked his head into the hut and could see that the young girl was not alone but also with Emma who was the one to find the girl. He had heard some of their conversation which he didn’t understand some of it from both not hearing it correctly or in a different language.

Ava Samuels The girl was about to ask Emma what the new words meant, when she was interrupted by a knock on the door. It was Sammy! Remembering what Emma had said about other people not liking the words, she winked at Emma. (The wink of course was terribly done.) "Come in!" She said loudly to the doctor. Emma Pelletier “Yes, come in.” Emma said, her voice switching over to a perfect English accent. The girl stood up, and walked over to a darker corner of the room, leaning against the wall. She eyed the doctor, but what she was truly thinking was unknown. She let her eyes reveal nothing other than the fact she was alive.

(I kinda left my Kindle at my sister's, so I'll be inactive until Wed.) Hrafn Bjorn | Hunter | 14 Hrafn grabbed a couple fish. It appeared to be medium, so she ran back to camp and dropped them on the pile. Then going to Kraka and offering help, she wove them with efficiency and finished a square inch in 10 seconds. It was certainly faster, with Kraka and Kassandra.
Kraka Bjorn | Builder | 14 Kraka accepted the help from Hrafn, and was quick with it, with Hrafn helping her with her technique. Then adding some to Holly's roof, she kept on with a little sweat on her brow. The pine was pricklier on her palms, and she had some minor scratches.
