Derrick Bridge | 24 | Cook | Camp | With: N/A What? He wasn't there for breakfast? One by now should know that he never shows up for breakfast! Unless that is, that they needed him to cook something. He perhaps counts himself generous, he didn't take up more mouths to feed in the morning after all. Besides, he is used to leftovers.
With a quick stretch, he is finally out of the hut, being a cook and all, he doesn't really have much to do but cook whatever the hunter got back for him. He heard a kid was interested in cooking, but also that kid was a bit of a troublemaker, in all honesty they need all the cooks they can find, but at the same time? I'm hoping he doesn't make a 'harmless' prank with food.

Ava Samuels | 6 years | Female Child Ava seemed to accept this. Kassy is smart and the leader. She knows best. Ava grinned her trade mark smile and reached into her jumper pocket. She pulled out something and wrapped her little hands around it, before opening her hands to reveal a pebble. It was like any normal pebble near the water, smooth and plain, but to Ava it was a precious. "Look what I found," she said looking proud of herself. Noah Samuels | 25 years | Male hunter He continued through the forest til he came to the waterfall. The water wasn't frozen over thankfully. With spear in hand he stood at the banks and watched the water intently. Fish was Ava's favourite, he wanted to treat her. He felt a pang of sadness as he remembered fish was Roses favourite too.

Hagon got up and inspected a few of the shelters, looking for leaks and rotting of the wood.
Hero also got up from sitting at the campfire and went over to Kass. "What can I do to help?" She asked. "You need me to go out into the forest at all?" ✞~Spottedleaf ~✞

"Oh! It's really cool outside!" Valerie replied, gesturing wildly with her hands by now. She seemed happy to talk about it, already trying to think of ways Sophia could come look at some of the cool things she'd seen as well. Then again, she did understand that perhaps it wasn't exactly safe. "Lots of cool places to explore! However, I won't pretend like it's not dangerous, either," she continued, wearing a kind smile. "There are dangers that could quickly cost you your life, but as long as you stay cautious it'll turn out fine."
She paused, then suddenly clapped her hands together. "I know! Do you think we could convince Kassandra that you could come with me? I could show you some cool stuff!" Of course, only stuff that wouldn't be too dangerous.
(I'm going to not edit, but rewrite my post real quick.) Hrafn then nodded, but she knew her strength was enough to stay out for a while. She silently stepped over to Sophia, and said, "Hey, Kassandra sent me to get a check up. Is now convenient?" She had a raven feather in her hand, and it twitched with her every move. The hunter wondered why she even got those stomach parasites, but at least she was making a fast recovery. Her body had a thin frame, and Hrafn was aware of it.
Kraka checked with everyone's huts. She saw Hagon and waved. Her small tools that she salvaged from the crash were on her 'belt,' and she then saw a board falling out of her hut, and hammered it in again. She turned to Kassandra and watched for her duties.
Holly was inside of her hut, and wondered where Ava was. The caretaker walked out, to find her talking to Kassandra. Smiling, she wondered what Ava was showing Kassandra.
Hector looked around once breakfast was over looked around for the caretaker of the kids and where others of his role were at. Instantly spotting Holly exiting out of the hut did the young boy run over to her, since the crash he pretty much was almost like a prickly thorn stuck in a jacket- often clinging to those he trusted and following them like a lost puppy. “Miss Holly! What are we going to do today?” He asked in a soft yet somewhat excited voice as he pulled a little at her jacket to get her attention, his eyes wide and full of curiosity.

Nick always felt complete with breakfast, he had been told for most of his life that it was the most important meal of the day and to that did the teen agree with. What am I doing today? I could shadow the cook....or they might have we go with a hunter, scout, medic or builder.... he thought to himself as trainees while finding their rank within the tribe was what he called ‘passion’ they did a variety of odd jobs that those with ranks did until they found one that suited them, he was starting to be interested in cooking however he was unsure if that was still going to the right fit for him.

Samuel’s thoughts drifted to what medical or herbal supplies were in stock, he couldn’t get much by memory alone at the moment and he wondered if his fellow medic had a fresh mind of what they were needing. For a moment he thought of asking her but seeing that she was talking- or rather someone else was talking with her, he decided to not interrupt their conversation and headed by himself to where the medical supplies were kept. If we need anything one of us will have to accompany one of the others to go looking he thought to himself as it was safety in numbers that kept them alive.

Hector’s eyes went a little wide when she asked him what they would doing this day, he felt the weight of responsibility and if the world resting on his shoulders. “Going to gather... berries or other plants?” He replied slowly with him hoping that this was the right response to the question. He didn’t let go of her jacket as if afraid he would lose her if he let go. “Am I right Miss Holly? Is that what we will do for today?”

Holly smiled and nodded. "Exactly. Though not action packed, it is helping the tribe." She then walked to the bushes where she could gather those. Digging up a plant she recognized as Indian cucumber, she took the root and and left the rest. It reminded her of cucumber, but it wasn't. Just some plant like chamomile, which was nicknamed the pineapple weed for its taste. Watching Hector, she counted everything she had. (Sorry if Indian cucumber doesn't grow up here, I can edit it to something else)

Kass thought it was cute how Ava admired her pebble so much. It was one of the things that made her realize how simple a kid's mind was. They weren't hard to please. It was kind of sweet, honestly. "That is a very cool rock," Kass said cheerfully, just before Hero approached her. Taking her eyes off Ava for a second, Kassandra looked at Hero. "Why don't you go find Valerie or Emma? They are probably about to head out to scout the area, if they haven't already. I'll leave the place they check out up to them," she told her.

Holly felt the familiar root in her hand. It was quite different than most plants she had felt. She kept an open ear for any idea if anything could happen. "Hector, let's go. We, at the least, found where the food is. We should go and see what Kassandra wants us to do." She then led the boy back to the camp, and watched Kassandra. Kraka waved at Holly. That girl would always stick to her ways.

Ava Samuels After Kassy turned to Hero she looked around. Where was Holly and Hector. She spotted them walking into camp. "Holly Holly! Feel how smooth the pebble is!" She yelled racing over to the career. Since she was young she didn't know much proper ways to say bye to people so she simply left Kassys side.
Naoh Samuels The tall man threw the spear with perfect aim, catching a salmon. He stashed it in a bag he had brang and waited. Again he threw the spear but without luck. He waited 10 more minutes and soon he had caught 2 more salmon.

Holy smiled at Ava. Rubbing her finger over the surface, she said, "Sure is smooth." Being a caretaker was tedious at times, but it was rewarding when she saw a trainee become a full fledged tribe member. Hrafn had persuaded Kassandra by using her past, as the independant hunter(Holly knew how much skill was in her frame, it was scary) so she didn't have to be a trainee. Kraka still had to be one and became a builder. Hrafn could persuade people with ease. Holly turned her attention to the kids. "How about we listen to Kassandra and then go berry and root collecting?" 🌹Jayjaycats🌹

Ava Samuels The little girl nodded excitedly, placing the stone back in her jumper pocket. "I want to find a potato!" The word felt strange on her tongue. It had been months since she had eaten a potato or a fruit salad. She didn't really mind, since this seemingly trip was exciting. Apart from her mother falling into a deep 'sleep', she was happy here. She had Noah, Holly and everyone else. Hector was fun to play with but she liked the older girls more. Hrafn and Krafa. They were pretty and secretly Krafa was like her role model. Yes she liked Hrafn too, but she was always quiet.
